The website lists the full list of the liver’s functions as: cleansing the blood; producing, supplying, and regulating glucose; manufacturing essential body proteins; eliminating impurities from the body and aiding digestion; regulating many different hormones; regulating vitamins and minerals, and more. 

In addition to the long list of responsibilities the liver has, there are a long list of things that negatively affect it, including toxins and pollution found in your diet and in the environment, alcohol, smoking, and many other lifestyle and nutrition choices. 

Ingredients and Side Effects

Liverite Liver Aid and their counterpart, Liver Aid plus Milk Thistle, include an identical  list of ingredients like Amino Acids, Vitamin B12, L-Cysteine, Choline, and many others, all of which are listed as all natural ingredients with no known side effects.

Liver Aid plus Milk Thistle obviously also includes Milk Thistle as an added ingredient, but the website does not actually make any claims about the positive addition of Milk Thistle.

The reality of this ingredient is that while some people believe that it does improve the health of the liver, especially when it has suffered alcohol related damage, there is not enough scientific evidence to support this belief at this time.

Currently this product is not sold through their own website, it is only being distributed through third party retailers like Walmart, Walgreens, Vitamin Shoppe, CVS.

This means that price will depend mostly on from where you purchase this item.  That being said, it looks like standard pricing among retailers ranges between about $12 and $15 for a single bottle, depending on the size.
