Blast Auxiliary Portable AC Reviews

Blast Auxiliary is a company that offers a number of low-cost air conditioning products optimal comfort. The company markets the Blast Auxiliary Portable AC, as well as the following products:
- Portable AC Water Curtain
- Blast Auxiliary Filter
- In Home Charcoal Bags
- Blast Auxiliary Heater
- Wearable AC Plus
- Personal Fan
All of the products sold at Blast Auxiliary are smaller than the full-size appliances with the intent behind the products to be portable but still provide maximum comfort.
What Does Blast Auxiliary Portable AC Do?
This portable AC is also referred to as a desktop AC due to its small dimensions. Its lightweight and easy-to-carry design allow users to move it from room to room, setting it on any type of desktop or nightstand.
The ultra portable AC doesn’t operate on BTU but instead uses ice and water to produce the necessary chill. A water curtain you place inside allows allergens and dust to get caught in the filter instead of moving into your room. Not only does it provide cooling comfort, but it helps to create a healthier environment for you and your family.
How Does Blast Auxiliary Work?
There are only a few steps to take to get your Blast Auxiliary mini AC up and running.
- Open up the convenient lid at the top of the device and pour in water
- Insert your pre-soaked water curtain into the front slot of the air cooler
- Plug the portable AC into the wall (charger is included) and turn on the product
The water curtain filter will last for upwards of eight months, and you can purchase replacement filters on the company website. Once the water in the cooler runs out, the device will stop working. Once the tank refills, the mini AC will go back to working as usual.
Cost and Price Plans
The purchase price of the Blast Auxiliary Portable AC is $99 and includes the charger and water curtain filter in the cost.
If you order the air cooler through the company website, you qualify for a reduced rate. When your order multiple devices (it is recommended one per person in the home), you get an even cheaper rate.
- One Desktop AC - $89.99
- Two Desktop AC’s - $179.98
- Three Desktop AC’s - $202.99
- Four Desktop AC’s - $247.99
The company also offers a 30-day refund if you are not happy with your purchase.
Customer Service
Blast Auxiliary offers various methods of contact via its website for customer service needs.
Email: [email protected]
Phone Number: 1-866-335-1618 (the USA and Canada)
(02) 5133 5698 (Australia and New Zealand)
(033) 081 80915 (the United Kingdom and Ireland)
There is also a chat option via their company website.
Blast Auxiliary also goes by the name Blaux. They have very low customer service reviews on independent reviews websites. One customer even stated that they filled out the order form but never submitted it. However, they were still charged.
Online Customer Reviews/Complaints
Although there is no mention that the company also goes by the name Blaux on their Blast Auxiliary website, that is the company name used by Trustpilot and the Better Business Bureau. This name is also how you can purchase the products on Amazon.
The BBB gives the company an F rating and has a warning on the profile that many consumers have not received their products after purchasing them. Trustpilot has similar complaints and a 2-star rating. Most customers state that the product never worked or that it stopped working immediately after receiving it.
Additionally, the return address for the product is different than the headquarters. Therefore, customers have issues sending it to the correct place.
Competitors and Alternatives
There are several products similar to Blast Auxiliary on the market, a few of which include:
Blaux vs. Breeze Maxx: These two products are nearly identical in design. However, the Breeze Maxx has a removable component to fill with water. The price is similar for both items.
Vs. Arctic Air: Arctic Air has a lower price and is available at popular retail chains like Target and Walmart. The design is quite similar to the other models above. However, the Arctic Air (like the Blast Auxiliary) does not have a removable water compartment.
Vs. iBaste: The iBaste looks identical to the Blast Auxiliary. However, it has a much lower cost. The reviews are slightly higher for the iBaste as well.
Where To Buy?
You can purchase the Blast Auxiliary Portable AC through their company website to take advantage of the 30-day money-back guarantee. However, the product is also available on Amazon. Although competitor’s products are available in standard retail outlets, the Blast Auxiliary is not.
The Bottom Line
Dealing with the summer heat is often unbearable. There is little you can do to get comfort during such high temperatures. Having an air conditioner is the most desirable way to deal with the uncomfortableness, but they aren’t always available to those who need them.
There are many negative reviews for the Blast Auxiliary company, but especially so for the portable air conditioners that they sell. Many customers have expressed anger at not receiving their products after purchasing them and having difficulty getting in touch with anyone.
For that reason, we do not believe that the Blast Auxiliary portable AC is worth it. There is a surplus of options on the market that also fulfill the need and have better reviews. We do not believe it is worth the money to invest in a product that appears to be more scam-like than legit.

BLAST AUXILIARY: THE WORLD’S FIRST “CUSTOMER LAST!!” SUPPORT DEPARTMENT!
I received a defective unit as a gift from my dad and the “Blaux Customer Support” was so offensively bad I’m doing my part to return the “favor” back to them.
I received a Blast Auxiliary A/C unit as a gift from my pops about two months ago and was excited to put it to use as the weather began to change to skin-crisping degrees outside,
To my unadulterated delight; I couldn’t get my brand new unit to stay powered on(*yeah…I tried that too). After hiring a private investigator at 100x the cost of my blaux unit, I finally found & called the “Blast: Customers Last” support # at (844) 846-5344. I was extremely encouraged to be immediately routed to a super-(im) personal vm machine where I was instructed to leave my contact info, issue, and good number to be reached at.
I’m confident they never turned over the proverbial cassette-tape in the answering machine from their first days in business. As such, they “never got the message” or some thing like that and needless to say: they lied. Five+ messages later and I’ve gotten the “They’re just not that into you bro.” message loud & clear.
I’ve emailed their autoresponding support email software bot/program and it’s clear they truly do (*NOT) give any “flying fuax” about supporting their customers…NONE.
Not wanting to offend the bot’s preferred gender pronouns; I’ll try to be as inclusive as possible. “TheyBot” has about 4-5 different emails in its “screw the customer” arsenal…they include:
-the requisite “due to Covid-19, we’re gonna take our time to send you your unit and use the virus as an excuse to suck even more at our jobs…but keep an eye out for an email with tracking info!!” (*EVEN THOUGH I WAS HOLDING, IN MY FUAXING HANDS, THE DEFECTIVE UNIT I WAS CONTACTING THEM ABOUT!!)
-or other gems notifying me to “…rest-assured, Them has escalated your issue to ‘Low Priority’ and They MIGHT be addressing your problems
-I proceeded to inform They’m that I would be sending my unit back asap if I didn’t receive a response legitimately acknowledging my situation. Guess what!? I got more copies of the above irrelevant bot nonsense…so i sent it back to their Headquarters. I also sent Them the tracking info and Them informed me to “rest-assured, They’ve escalated my issue to High(*On-Meth!)-Priority!!”
-I checked the tracking a few days later and some Blasthole named “DJ” had signed for it…still no acknowledgment of a single attempt for contact from any of They\Them\Those\Theirs\These\ This\That\& The Other and to my (*SMHD) non-surprise…
…NOT ONCE, NEVER, DID I EVER EVEN BARELY, REMOTELY, DISCERN THAT A SINGLE HUMAN BEING EVER SET EYES OR EARS ON ONE SINGLE REQUEST FOR HELP.
“Da Customer Always B-Last at Blast!!”
Worst “support” I’ve ever encountered in my life. HANDS.DOWN.
Sincerely Pissed Off,
-support a company that actually cares about their products and customers
Good product
The unit was received this weekend. Opened the box it came in ,examined and the power adapter was missing.
I believe it to be a good product once I receive the missing pieces.....
WORST WORST WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! Only generic email replies. Issues with two of the 3 units. And they won't honor any warranty or exchange. Plus, you cannot buy replacement filters, even though the directions say to replace filter every three months. Blast Auxiliary Air Cleaner - 3 paid $156 bucks for these and get no real service.
