I love my freeze dryer. I use it all the time! When my machine started having issues I got quick help from customer support! I worked with Jenn and she was super helpful! She was patient and determined to make sure I got my machine working again. Only reason for the 4 stars was that shipping the part I needed took much longer than expected. I received a notification it was shipped, but the label was only created, it wasn't shipped for an additional 2 days after that. Overall, I absolutely love my machine and customer service was great!

The machine works great!! Had one issue that required communication with the Harvest Right company. Now that was a disaster! First they lost our ticket and we waited over 5 days to hear back. Finally realized something must have happened, we called again. Spoke with person but they said they would have to get back with us-( more time ) then that had to ask supervisor before telling us ( another wait for call back) whether they could send parts even though was still under warranty . ( more time). Then despite having pictures of the issue and multiple explanations of problems they sent only one of the needed parts- more time only waiting for call back. More time for part to arrive.

Finally received the necessary parts. And thank God it works fine again. Machine is great but custom service is a total nightmare! Would give 5 stars if customer service was half as good as the machine itself.

I have been looking at freeze dryers since 2015. I read about the Harvest Right Freeze Dryer and finally bought the Medium size from TSC. I love this product. It is so simple to use and I now have no waste from my leftovers to my freezer. And now I have more room in my freezer. In fact my freezer only is only about 1/4 full. Food is too expensive to waste. I have saved so much by not wasting that it has paid for itself. Thank you Harvest Right!

I LOVE the Harvest Right Freeze Dryer! We got an XL model with 6 trays and it is AMAZING. I spent time watching all the YouTube videos to learn about what foods can be freeze dried, what cannot, what experiences people had and tips & tricks to make the freeze drying experience more successful. I have run 5 complete batches and am running the 6th now. I am trying new items as I learn about them on YouTube and trying some things on my own as well. It REALLY works well. The foods are REALLY freeze dried and now are non-perishable. I have so many ideas now of what I want to freeze dry,...but I think we are going to have to get more XL units to be able to do all of them! The plan is to preserve "ready-made-meals" that we can eat at any time in the next 25 years.

I have 2 machines, one medium Pharmaceutical machine, the other is the new XL commercial machine. Most all of my experiences with HarvestRight have been 4 or 5 stars. I chose to rate with 4 stars because, though everything is usually great, there are some issues I've had.

Hardware issues with pharm. machine a few times (changed a few parts out), a couple software issues... Customer support is usually delightful to work with... Tech support is usually pretty helpful, but hit or miss if you get someone who lacks experience or a weekend call. Sales people are not my cup of tea - decent at sales, not helpful (at all) once they have sold the machine. In my experiences they don't listen, don't seem to care much.

The machines are well built and work very well for the most part. Freeze drying (though automated) has a learning curve and some concepts to grasp before always smooth sailing. I fully recommend HarvestRight products! Check out freeze dryer forums for help !

I have been freeze drying with Harvest Right freeze dryers since 2015. I have always been given excellent service whenever I had an issue with the freeze dryer. This large freeze dryer is my third one to purchase since 2015, and it is the best one yet. I just did a batch of 7 1/2 dozen raw eggs, and it took 25 hours to dry. My freeze dryer purchased in 2015 takes anywhere from 35 hours to 50 hours to dry. I am very please with this new freeze dryer and the excellent service I have received when having any issue with it.

Harvest Right has been very good with customer service. The have answered my inquiries with positive information. I have called with problems and questions and I have not been disappointed yet. Every one I have talked to has been helpfull.

Sooooo excited!! THANK YOU LUIS VARGAS!!! We purchased our HarvestRight Freeze dryer last August. We made the decision after numerous friends purchased HarvestRight FD’s. We got the newest model with the most current software. I noticed that my machine was taking a lot longer than my friends. I had a few good batches and then things started to go down the drain. We had multiple error messages, multiple calls to the tech department. The machine seemed like a lemon. Although every tech person was extremely polite, no one was able to fix the issues. We had to send our shelves back to be repaired which took over a month. We had to replace 2 relays. Nothing was fixing the problems!!! I was ready to return it. A $3000 purchase shouldn’t be this difficult!!!!! Today was a GREAT DAY!! We finally got to speak to the Tech Supervisor, Luis Vargas. After multiple phone of trouble shooting with Luis, the problem has been solved! Turns out our relay board was wired wrong. Our machine must have been built on a Friday at 4:30pm. None of the messages were making sense to Luis. He took the time to run every test possible! He was patient and understanding about our frustration. It’s was clear he cares about his customers! If you have any technical issues, don’t waste 7 months like I did! Call and ask for Luis Vargas immediately! It will save you a ton of time and great frustration!!

So first off, it was very frustrating as the first Large Harvest Right freeze dryer I ordered on their website did not get cold enough and I had to send it back. They send me a brand new one and had some small issues right off the bat. Definitely not a good first impression! But I called customer support and after some troubleshooting, my freeze dryer now works like a charm.

Our HarvestRight freeze dryer is one of the best recent investments that we have made. Not only has it pretty much become our number one method for food preservation it has also saved us lots of $$ since we're able to preserve leftovers instead of throwing it away and also buy in bulk at today's prices to offset the ever rising food prices. There is a learning curve but HarvestRight provides lots of useful information on their website and in YouTube videos. Plus there are plenty of social media groups that you can turn to learn all about this exciting 'relatively new technology' (has been around for a long time but only recently became available thanks to HarvestRight to be used by the average household). Their Customer Service is 5 star in our opinion. We recently had an issue and one of their Tech Support persons responded within the hour to walk us thru the process to resolve it. We have been using our unit non-stop for seven months and we have found the unit VERY easy to use and actually a little fun to experiment with. HarvestRight is a fast growing company for a reason. They sell a very useful product at a reasonable price and provide the resources necessary to support their customers and marketplace. We were a little surprised when the delivery driver told us they deliver 1-2 machines daily to homes in our little area of the US. When we got on social media to get more ideas of using our unit we found hundreds of other users. BTW, Reviewopedia's review is a little outdated because their statement that there are only a few reviews is no longer accurate.

I have owned my freeze dryer for just over a year now and have been extremely happy with my purchase. the quality, performance, and support have earned a five star rating. I recently ran into a problem with the vacuum not getting low enough. I reached out to support and heard back from them the very next morning. after going through the process I was given to clean the pump and instal a newer program, my machine is back up and running stronger than ever, thanks HarvestRight!

I bought the XL Harvest Right Freeze drier about three months ago. I LOVE IT!! This machine has ran almost every day with no major problems whatsoever. I have freeze dried everything to include raw milk, raw eggs, ground beef, every fruit imaginable, candy and now plan to start working on dog treats made from chicken, beef and lamb.

Not only am I extremely pleased with their product, but I must mention that their customer service is second to none.

I highly recommend buying a Harvest Right Freeze Drier to anyone that asks me. I am actually thinking about buying a second XL machine soon.

Customer service was fantastic! We love our freeze dryer, so we were a little stressed out when we had an issue with it. We contacted them and within the day, they had responded. They were great with helping us figure out what the problem was, and getting us the right parts to get us back to freeze drying again!

I bought my harvest right freeze dryer 2 1/2 years ago. I bought the four tray medium machine. I selected to buy the stainless steel unit, and I also selected to upgrade the vacuum pump to the maintenance oil free pump.

I just love this machine. It's very important to read and study all the instructions and become as familiar as you can with the storage process. The harvest right technicians are fantastic at diagnosing any problems if they arise and they are great at helping you understand all aspects of the operation of this machine. I have called the technicians many times and every time the issue was my inexperience of how it all works, but they are always patient and calming. The only actual problem I have had with the unit was the touch screen malfunctioned (which I honestly felt I might have caused, again read and follow the instructions). It never stopped working, but was difficult to read. Harvest right sent me a new screen and easy instructions for changing it, which I did change it and it was very easy to do and infact kind of fun simply because of good support. Again I love the harvest right freeze dryer. I love that all you have to do is load it and push start and let it do it's magic. No worries or fuss needed, it will tell you when it's finished. I was told that it likes to run so keep it running so I do and yes it likes to run. I have freeze dried all kinds of stuff and it all tastes fantastic. Everything has it's original flavors. I definitely and highly recommend the purchase of a Harvest Right freeze dryer.

Would not buy a freeze dryer from harvest right again.

I have the large Harvest Right freeze dryer and have not had any problems in the 1 year I have owned it. It is an excellent way to preserve food for the future. Harvest Right, you make wonderful products. Thank you

I love my harvest right ! I have been putting away food and leftovers for a couple years not and machine is still going strong ! I can use the food for camping , emergencies or whatever. I was able to process extra goats milk that we have or a ton of apples given to us last fall. Well worth the money. It has paid for itself already.

We have had our Harvest Right freeze dryer for about 9 months and find it to be indispensable. This made in America freeze dryer is exactly what we needed to preserve the vegetables we harvest from our homestead, fish from the Chesapeake Bay, and meats from local farmers markets. The process is easy, and the outcome is outstanding. My wife loves her freeze dried bananas and apples. I genuinely enjoy freeze drying fresh eggs, home grown vegetables, and homemade soups and broth for cooking.

We have found customer support very helpful and easy to access.

Whether you're preparing for times when access to foods may be difficult or preserving foods that you harvest for future use, I genuinely recommend the Harvest Right freeze dryer.

WONDERFUL machine!!!!!

We bought our Harvest Right in March of this year. What a WONDERFUL machine. I very much prefer it over dehydrating. So many options for putting up food. We are still in the "EXPERIMENTING STAGE" and loving it. First we freeze dried a lot of frozen foods to free up freezer space. Vegetables and fruits have been my starting point. Ground beef was easy and so was spaghetti sauce. A variety of meats have been freeze dried as well. All with much success. Oh and berries are wonderful. Broccoli slaw is amazing. Frozen peas are delightful. One batch of food was not dried long enough - learning curve for me.I have stored in mylar bags as well as canning jars. I prefer the harvest right supplies over generic. They know what works in their machine. It is definitely an investment. If one is going to spend the money at least purchase the medium and if you can splurge go for the large. In the end, money will be saved. Thank you Harvest Right for such a great machine. One thing to remember, make sure your software is up to date. We didn't know that was important. We had to contact tech to help us re-calibrate our machine. They have tutorials for the asking. I would definitely purchase again and the large one for sure. There are a LOT of food freeze drying videos on YouTube too. I have to also share that I was in fact offered incentive to write a review and had to check the box with reviewpedia saying that I wasn't but I was in fact offered incentive. So this is my disclaimer. I truly do like my Harvest Right and would purchase a second one if I had the opportunity. This machine is worth its value and will save families much money in the end. Be encouraged to purchase one.

Perfect operation …

I’ve had my harvest right freeze dryer for about eight months and I have used it almost every day since then. As a prepper, I’ve stored a lot of canned goods over the years they were getting outdated. I freeze dried most of them, As well as various meats and fruits and they all turned out Excellent. Now they’re good for another 20 to 25 years. The freeze dryer has work flawlessly and I’m so happy I purchased it.
