My harvest right freeze dryer is awesome!

I first did candy, but that was just to start with easier items as I was learning. Then I started doing fruit, and I find I like fruit freeze dried more than fresh fruit! In particular blueberries, strawberries, and bananas are like candy to me- and it retains the nutrients and is easy to store and save for later so I can buy when it’s in season locally and on sale and keep it for years to come. Now I am doing pet treats and saving entire meals. There are many youtube videos and Facebook groups that have been great to learn how to get the most out of the machine. It is an investment in my family but I believe it is a fun hobby too!

I've had my freeze dryer about five years and so far it's broken down about every six months. when it's working it works great.

during the warranty period tech support is very supportive and prompt to get it going again. Now out of warranty there is a diagnostic charge every time it breaks down. I think I may have purchased a lemon. I give tech support five stars the machine maybe two stars

I've owned my freeze drier for about 2 weeks now, and I've already run about 10 loads through. It couldn't be easier, and I'm thrilled to have a way to preserve my garden haul, without completely filling up my freezer. I've had two interactions with customer service (one to place the order and one to solve an issue with the software) and both times they were extremely kind and helpful - hopefully that remains true if I ever run into a bigger issue.

So far, everything I've put in has come out perfect, with literally the press of one button, and it works even faster than I was led to believe.

The only downside is that it's kind of loud, so it needs to live in my garage. This just means I can't run it when it gets really hot out. But if you have a basement or other separate area in your home, you won't need to worry about it.

I purchased this medium unit and it has been running almost everyday with something new. Have purchased freeze dried food in the past but content was a concern. With this, you can always know what's in it.

Had a air leak issue a few batches in.

Customer support instructed a quick fix, and off and running again.

I would just like to praise Scarlet (Madison right on Facebook) on being an absolute legend of a consultant to deal with. Living in Australia has been a bit challenging with communication given the time difference but this amazing woman has gone above and beyond to respond to my enquires outside of her work hours to help me resolve the issues I was having.

I have had a problem with my medium size harvest right freeze drier reporting an error during the drier cycle that the heating elements were not working.

I called tech support and the recommendation was to preform a software update and a firmware update.

After an hour of waiting for the E-Mail, I called back and was promptly taken care of by Nikolai Buluran who sent the emails from his account at harvest right and they arrived within a minute of his sending them.

So far I am very pleased with Harvest Right... my medium freeze drier arrived in perfect condition, it was so easy to hook up, and I had started my first bread run that same evening. I did have an issue with the bread run going for an excessive time (60+ hrs running time) and Noris with Harvest Right was prompt with sending us a software update that did fix the issue. My revised attempt at the initial bread run started in the evening, and when I checked it in the morning the cycle had completed and the bread was perfectly dry.

We are trying a different setup than most, integrating the HR into our kitchen and running the hoses through the wall into the garage to minimize pump noise. Very pleased, excited to get crack'n on some real batches... first up, summer squash soup.

We love our freeze dryer! My wife FD’s most of her garden veggies and berries. We also do a lot of camping and kayak camping, so we create our own meals (all organic with no preservatives needed - unlike the ones you buy in stores). When kayak camping, weight is very important, so making our own FD meals is perfect.

Further to that, the customer service has been amazing. They are great at answering any questions you have.

I loved the idea of this unit and the process that was involved in food preservation. Two things threw me off - the price and the things I was hearing from the Facebook group users that I ran into during my research.

After watching countless Youtube videos on the process and the outcomes, I decided to take a chance and add a Freeze Right Medium Freeze dryer to my Food preservation journey.

I remained cautious and concerned because of things I was reading that were negative. There were great reviews, too, so I read as much as I could and followed the directions to the letter.

I'm pleased to find out that following the directions causes less Operator errors and my machine has been running non-stop without issue since it arrived.

The money is no longer an issue. I'm sure that I'll make that back by having shelf-stable ingredients on hand continuously, being able to take advantage of bulk purchasing and food preparation as i carefully follow the process to protect our food supply for decades to come!

I wish that I had purchased one of the larger models! It has really produced superior results - one example is the best banana chips I've ever tasted. The fresh pineapply that I freeze dried was extra flavorful, too!

We love our Harvest Right Freeze Dryer! Delivery was fast and easy. We ordered the medium with the premium pump and have had it for about a month and a half now and it has been amazing! We had a slight issue with our initial bread run and it only progressed to 75% for a while. I manually shut it down and it stopped the process. The bread was perfectly dry so I figured it must’ve been user error. I contacted customer support and they answered within seconds. They diagnosed the problem and sent me the upgraded software immediately. We downloaded the new software and bang…the next bread run was done in just under 8 hours. I couldn’t believe how quickly the issue was resolved.

We are now loading up all of our garden harvests as well as our local farmers market deals and it has been amazing! We couldn’t be happier with the customer service and most importantly the product. If you are considering Harvest Right, make the right choice and order it today!
