Love my Large size Freeze dryer !

Thought I had a vaccume problem, but adjusted the door & it works great ! I should have checked the seal first. The bread test revealed this.

We purchased a Harvest Right freeze dryer, the small model, and have been using it around the clock! I never thought that freeze drying food would not only be great for short and long-term storage, but it is also fun!

This machine has allowed us to keep our garden vegetables preserved with all of their nutrients! I would highly recommend, not just the freeze dryer, but Harvest Right as a company! They care about their products and their customers!

This is my first Freeze Dryer. We have had it for about a month and I've only run 5 loads, which is my experience so far. Delivery was straightforward and sooner than expected. The email explaining the process was thorough, and even a short video was provided. Everything we purchased was included and undamaged, with no issues. Assembly or installation was also straightforward and simple. Having a table or space next to the dedicated outlet and two strong people for lifting makes it easier.

Issue #1-This one is on me. Have a dedicated 20amp circuit with a NEMA 5-20 outlet right next to where you are putting your unit.

Issue #2-The top portion of the tray holder separated during the test run. Support told me to buy clear two-sided 3M tape to repair it myself.

Issue #3-Long Batch, the drying cycle would not complete. The software needed an update...on a brand-new machine...

Overall, customer support was expedient and helpful in resolving issues, however, I do expect to run into more.

It had a software glitch when we first got it but I call Harvest Right and their technical support emailed me the update immediately and I had it up and running the same day

In an age where good customer care is hard to come by Harvest Right gets it right!

First let me say that I love my Harvest Right Freeze Dryer. I had a little trouble with the first one shipped to me but Harvest Right remedied that immediately. They were very accommodating even when I needed to change the ship to address mid shipment. The customer service representative I dealt with throughout my whole experience was phenomenal. I have used my Harvest Right Freeze Dryer nonstop since I got it and I am absolutely in love with it. Thank you Harvest Right for a product that allows me to preserve even more of my summer harvest for winter use and for years to come. A special thank you to the customer service representative whom answered all my emails promptly and made me feel like a valued customer instead of a pesky purchaser.

The medium size with 5 trays is a high quality well made machine.

It's easy to setup and get running (no tools needed).

Running the first batch was very easy.

Contacting customer care was painless and all questions were answered.

Overall the best customer care experience I have ever had.

Purchased Commercial Freeze Dryer and it arrived not completely assembled from the factory. Took 3 different calls to customer service to get someone to help me and not just "someone one will call you back to help". Once I was connected with Tech support, they were accommodating in fixing the problem. Which was to dissemble half the outer part of the unit and install the handle where it was supposed to be. For the inconvenience, I was offered $25 store credit. Feeling a bit put out, I challenged and received $50 store credit. Tried running the device and the current software was out of date making freeze-drying times run 50+ hrs. Had to install new software. Seems odd to spend over $5000 and have to complete the build and software updates myself before I can use it. But at least I got $50 store credit? Not the best experience in any way. Tech support was the only saving grace here.

I am once again having trouble with my freeze dryer. This time the vacuum does not go below 2500mT. This is getting really frustrating. I am wasting time and money trying to get this "new" machine to function properly. I submitted my (positive) review to soon...

I purchased my Medium HarvestRight freeze dryer July, 2023, primarily for freeze dried candy making. Upon receiving it, I immediately set it up, ran the functional test, got the pump set up and tested. Setup was very straightforward and the instruction manual is very easy to follow.

I did initially had a problem with the trays staying heated. I contacted HR and they immediately help me resolve the issue.

I must say that the machine and customer support have been awesome!!!!

The only suggestion to HR is that they include a flash drive with the purchase because I did have to purchase one ($20) for them to be able to trouble shoot and update my app.

Get into home freeze drying!

After setup, this is a great tool for preserving food for over 20+ years and for transforming candy. We have had it out of the box for a couple of weeks and have done Skittles, raw eggs, and strawberries, and we can't wait to do way more! I recommend joining the many Facebook groups out there for helpful hints, food ideas and tips & tricks. Highly recommended!

The machine had a mylar sealing system included and oxygen absorbers to get you started. We bought a $15 machine from Amazon to seal stuff in mason jars.

We have had ours for 3 weeks. So far we have freeze dried scrambled eggs, apples, bananas, sweet onion, cherries, grapes, summer squash, lettuce, and pears. The flavours are so intense with the water missing. All our items are ready to eat. Hubby likes them in his lunch, and I love the convenience of having ready to go food when I don’t feel like cooking. Preparing food this way may not be cheap, but neither are jars and snap lids, or freezers. Being able to do up leftovers means we no longer have to eat chili for 5 days in a row. Leftovers can just be freeze dried. I’m looking forward to our garden produce ripening so that we can store the wonderful sunny flavours for enjoyment later.

We were introduced to freeze-drying by a family member that sold the finished product. After research, my husband and I found your Harvest Right website and we were very excited. It was a learning curve at first then we graduated to total meals, soups, staples such as raw produce, meats, fruits and vegetables. (Candy is all the trend now) we share all our goodies at family gatherings. We love to share the process & educate. I never come home with extras, and we end up with a wish list from everyone to fill for the next gathering. It is such a wonderful Machine. And we know our family members are getting fresh healthy food that we did ourselves just for them. Thank you Harvest Right. Your company and staff have been so helpful and nice to us over the past 5 years. We will forever be a fan and customer.
