They sent a pro who had no experience with the job I needed. He also was not certified to do the required grounding required.

Some pros didn't show up yet Angi charged me for service again and again. One of the services that I did receive was an over -charge. Angi seemed to want to credit my card number so they can overcharge or charge for services not performed. They have not returned my payments, my calls or, emails, I've had to let my legal representative handle my case.

Angi is useless when contractors cancel time and again! You can do this on you’re own without a fee!

They don't show up and customer service is horrendous.

This review is for Brilliant Landscaping LLC here in the Denver area. I was very pleased with my landscaping project done by Brilliant landscaping. I had 850 Sq Ft. of new Kentucky Blue grass sod laid in my backyard. They dug out all the old dying grass, laid new "good" soil, and turf. A beautiful transformation from ugly brown to beautiful green. All done in one day. Thank You so much for a very professional job.... well done.

I booked a move-out cleaning for my home 2 weeks in advance. I got several reminders and responded to all requests for more information.

My contractor never showed and didn't respond to my calls or to Angi's. When I got the contractor's voicemail it was for an auto design company in a city 35 miles away.

Such a waste of time, and now I have to unload my car and stay in my empty home overnight waiting for a different cleaning service to come tomorrow since no one can come today.

Why would they book my house cleaning with an auto designer? And why didn't the professional ever contact me or Angi in any way?

I will NEVER use Angi for anything ever again. They didn't even try to find a same-day replacement service.

This site has become nothing but a site that sells your information to as many businesses that are in business doing what you are looking for . Sign up looking for a bee keepers and watch the hundreds of calls you will get from all the pest control companies in the closet 5 states . Absolutely nothing but a information collection scam now

I signed up with Angi ads to get leads for my roofing company, they charge me $450 a month and said I would get 4-8 leads, well they took my money and gave me ZERO LEADS! Liars!

I am moving on Friday and had scheduled a move-out-cleaning for the Monday before. I experienced a no show. I rescheduled through Angi for the Wednesday prior to the move out. AGAIN a no show.

I called Angi and they acted as if it was nothing and asked if I wanted to reschedule again. I did not. This is the poorest customer service I have ever encountered. Do not use this service!

Found my fence down after a windstorm on a Friday night and began looking for estimates. Found Fleur Savauge LLC and he came by Monday. Very happy with his repair.

Do not pay upfront and do not give them your credit card info until your job is complete.

I booked a contractor to install interior doors, he never showed up, then they booked someone else and automatically scheduled a time for them the next day, without asking me if it worked for me.

Then when I texted to reschedule, they tried to say that because it was not 24-48 hours before the appointment, they would still charge me 50% for the job, even though the second CONTRACTOR NEVER SHOWED UP. Now they're trying to charge me for a job that never happened, and a contractor who never even attempted to show up.

As you can read, this has happened to multiple people.

BUISNESSES BEWARE!!! My plumbing business has been paying for advertising on Angielist/aka Angi Ads for 15 years, I'm highly rated and five star.

I started questioning the drastic reduction in customer calls over a 6 year period, even though I'm the highest rated out of the competition. So I searched my company on Angis list directory, found my business directory and then proceeded to get a quote from my business.

Minutes later my business did receive the request for a quote, but 20 minutes later, Angi emailed me privately with a large email title stating " Your Neighbors Recommend this pro", the email then touted another plumbing company reviews and to press this button for a quote.

Needless to say I was stunned, I'm paying Angi to advertise other companies!!!

I did another quote request from my company, and sure enough another private Angi, bait and switch email came in, with the same wording recommending another plumbing company.

I immediately called my advertising agent and told her about the fraudulent, bait and switch emails Angi was sending my customers. She then explained I had to spend more money in advertising to get more calls!

She could not grasp that i didn't matter how much I spent, because Angi was coercing the customer after choosing me, that that customers neighbor trusts and uses this contractor. Angi could not grasp this on how many levels this is actually is stealing and fraudulent.

Further I had been complaining for months that my company had not had the service award that we earned touted on our profile, but it was being touted on my competitors to make them look better if possible.

After mentioning that my attorney was going to be contacted, those coercing emails stopped and the service award was listed, that same day.

I want a full refund of my advertising at least for the last 6 years!

Businesses beware, Angi Ads is taking my money that I pay monthly and privately emailing the customer to use a "Homeadvisor" lead fee contractors!

Wish there was a zero rating. From one time of taking Angi’s 15% off offer on first order the fun began. Angi double booked me for a small home electrical job. The first guy was nice, but a handyman ) not licensed electrician (who was late because he was hanging wall paper. I took his word that he knew what he was doing ( Angi) so allowed him to install one plug, but that took him 3 hours and charged $270.00 ( not the discounted price), and dud auto that needed to be replaced.

The other crew can’t the next day ( texted to say he was double booked that day and would come in the morning so was ok he was late) : WW Electrical came and flipped one GFI plug in the house and fixed the problem, but had to rewire the work the Angi "electrician" did that didn't meet code at all. WW gets five stars even though I paid them $320.00, but they were actual electricians, with meters and supplies, and tools. I liked the Angi guy personally but wound not recommend him for electrical, not sure how the wall paper turned out.

This company is a bunch of scam artists, they took $100 after assuring me they wouldn’t. They charge you for every lead no matter if you get the job or not, even though they assure you you're only charged if you and home owner agree on the job.

They just lie then threaten you if you cancel your cards to stop them from taking money. It said they were taking $325 more this Friday and we are talking about 9 leads and no jobs at all, but they say they're giving you a credit that they make sure gets used quick.

I would give them negative 5 stars if possible.

If I could've put zero stars I would have. They book a repair, but have to wait until someone in their network accepts the job. I took Sat off to be here when the appt was scheduled.

It was only after 30 minutes after the scheduled time, and after calling customer service, that they informed me that no one had accepted the job.

Poor customer service (why wasn't I informed), poor business model (how about you schedule the appt AFTER someone accepts the job?). Total waste of my time. Useless, go somewhere else.

If I could have given them a zero, I would have. This service is bs they send leads out to at least 4 pros and charge all of them anywhere from $70-over $100 for a lead.

Most of their leads either are bogus leads with no way to contact the homeowner because the contact info is wrong or because the services requested isn't what the homeowner wants done and/or isn't with the businesses scope of work.

As a business owner I would steer clear of angi and as a consumer I would use other platforms like thumbtack.

Used the app to get an estimate, for a dead tree removal. Requested a quote from one of the companies that showed on the list. Then received a call but not from the tree company, it was some lady from Angi, calling from home because I could hear her kids screaming in the background.

She then proceeded to tell me she could lock in a price based on information I gave her about the tree to be removed. Really...accurate quote on a tree removal sight unseen. Not a chance. I wanted to talk to a pro, not a telemarketer. Garbage system and site.

I'm a sales manager at Maryland Countertop. I wanted to sign up for Angis's list to get a little more traffic in for the business (I like to keep busy). I signed up on 1/5/2022 and happily received a phone call from my client manager that Angi assigns you to, Andrew Grunwald.

We talked a bit on the phone, said that he could double the number of countertops I sell each week and give me discounts that will lower my monthly cost to $300. I have never signed up for an advertising company so hearing $300 that my boss has to pay for advertisements had me stop and tell that this needs to be approved by my boss before I say 'yes'. He said it was fine and wanted to follow up after at 2:30 and also said that he would text me.

I left work early because most of the employees were sick and there weren't any jobs left so I missed his call, but he never texted me a number that I could call him from. The next day (not even 24 hours) he calls me. I say my hellos and I tell him that I have not yet spoken to my boss because she has been very busy and sick. He proceeds to ask me if I'm serious about signing up, I obviously said yes but told him I had to contact my boss before making any decisions, Grunswald keeps pushing me and says that if he can promise me that it will cost $300 will I be able to agree right now.

I tell him again that I cannot make any decisions and if he could leave a number, I would happily call him later today or tomorrow about the final decision. He then tells me that we are wasting each other's time, that he doesn't want to keep calling me, play ring around the rosie or play the texting game.

I was honestly shocked that he said those things. I understand that he didn't want to waste his time and be transparent but the word choice and tone he used honestly made me speechless. It hasn't even been 24 hours from when we first talked, he's a sales representative and so am I but I would never ever talk to ANY of my clients the way he did whether I've first met them or known them for years.

I very calmy said, "I actually don't want to go any further with this." and he told me I wasted his time and that he was going to call my competitor. I guess he was waiting for my rebuttal, but I was too stunned to speak. At least he said "Adios" before hanging up (obvious sarcasm).

Awful, Awful, Awful. We are legitimate pros on the the site and when we signed up it was to help people in our area while building our business. They are not a reputable site and have not helped us grow. Don't ever use them if you are a business owner.
