This is a horrid business!

If you do the trial and then try to fix things, your score goes DOWN for just doing a search of your name on Google!!

If you put in your high school, then your score goes down because there may have been some people in your high school who have bad reputation scores, and now you're associated with them.

Under "court and criminal arrests" or whatever they call it, they had me downgraded because of a parking ticket in 2007!

I tried to sign up for MyLife just today. On the website I was told that if I sign up I will be charged 4.95 a month, or something like that, every month which is a breakdown of $59.40 every 12 months. Now I have less than 59 dollars on my debit card right now and that was how I knew that 4.95 would go through but 59 dollars wouldn't. When my transaction was denied, I saw on the top that 59.40 was due TODAY. I called the company and was basically given the runaround, with a woman telling me that, yes, this is a special deal, but I have to pay up front to get it. I was not about to subscribe to MYLIFE on those terms which were grossly inconsistent with the payment policies as described on the website, and so I simply hung up --- but not without that woman still trying her best to convince me of the value of "this deal" whatever it was. By the way, I KNOW that this is the way scams work, and so I didn't bite. However, I did push the line to see how far I could get beyond the nonsense; I didn't get anywhere. I didn't get any coherent answers from this woman and she didn't get my money.

This company is fake. They had mistakes on my report and I wanted to correct it. My reputation rating was 3.85. They asked me to be a member and pay a fee and I did. I forgot my passcode for online access and requested a new one. After signing in again, my reputation rating dropped from 3.85 to .75 within 2 minutes right in front of my own eyes. I called them and asked them to remove me from their sight. They charge you to correct information and once you do that the rating drops more than 3 points in 2 minutes?? They are a fraud. The good news is that you could call 888 704 1900 and demand to be opt-out. They will remove your profile if you demand.

My Life didn't have my current address. My reported income was WAY OFF ... and not in a good way. It also reported that I had a negative reputation because of a law suit or judgement against me. This is simply NOT TRUE. I've never had legal problems. I don't even have a traffic citation. Even worse than that, several names of people who supposedly related to me are total strangers whom I don't even know. I have no idea what this site thinks we're related. The site actually wanted money so that I could further explore all the erroneous information it had about me. I didn't see any point in doing this. Why should I reward this company with payment for factually erroneous information ... unless of course that's their business plan i.e. generating erroneous data to outrage consumers who join up to set the proverbial record straight.

Like others said- site is BS has my religion, court records, arrest records and all other kinds of things that just plain aren't true. Hope this site disappears fast and is sued into oblivion.

They are a Bogus Company!!! They use your life history (which they have obtained MOSTLY from your Credit Report and by using cookies to spy on you). They use this information to making a profit "scamming you" by making you think SOMEONE is looking for you!

Mylife.com charged me $20 then $15 four days later. I never received anything that I signed up for another subscription or received an email. When I called because you CAN NOT cancel online I waited over 30 minutes. Then I got disconnected. Finally got through and the lady who barely spoke English argued and argued with me. I cancelled everything but now I'm thinking I need to cancel my credit card. SCAM!!!!!!

I searched my name just out of curiosity. Mylife came back with a bunch of criminal stuff, sex offender stuff, bankruptcies...stuff that NEVER happened. This is a big scam to get membership money. Avoid this or you may be the next victim of identity slander.

IMO, MyLife.com is a dishonest misleading snake-oil rip-off fraudulent crooked scam, and if you give them your credit card info or ANY additional info about yourself or others you should be totally and thoroughly ashamed of yourself.

MyLife is a complete scam. It gives you a low rating and then scrapes info off the web. It has fabricated negative information about you so that you buy their BS and try to deactivate it. Illegal false advertizing. They need to be sued to libel.

Fortunately I found this site before I paid for the trial membership. I tried to remove the info which comes up at the top of a google search of my name. I have a 2.8 rating apparently from one review from mylife itself. I deactivated my account but the search result is still there. Like some of you I was on hold for an hour and then got disconnected.

my life have my name on their site.

The family members listed are false and most their information is inaccurate. They do not have consent to post any information about me whether true or not. This is defamation of character and slander. I am not a member. I want to join the class action suit nationally against them.

SCAM SCAM SCAM ALERT. I CANCELED MY CREDIT CARD SO MYLIFE CANNOT ADD ANY MORE UNAUTHORIZED CHARGES.

I made the mistake of opting for the 7-day $1.00 trial period because I was sucked in by errors on my "report" (which is exactly what MyLife hopes will happen). I have called my credit card company to alert them to this fraud - I was lucky, so far MyLife has only charged me twice for the 7-day trial period. My old credit card number has been canceled and MyLife will no longer be able to use that card, or scam any more funds from my account. I have edited the report section of my page to reflect all of the errors I found on the report, and posted links to this page and others regarding the numerous complaints against MyLife, including the class action lawsuit. The people who run this website are evil and should suffer the same fate they scam on to others.

Filed a complaint with the California BBB. Stole my credit card . Never answer the phone to get them to stop charging me . Their info on you is made up to shock you to continue to join. They steal your IP address. My friend is an attorney and says I should sue for fraud, decimation and identity theft. I'm thinking about it

I googled myself only to find misinformation.

At least it's not bad. So apparently I never got married, never lived in Kansas and shocking news everyone.... my annual income is probably five times what I brought home last year... So my big questions are.... where's my money and who is this man in my bed?
