We received the wrong cord for our Oilless pump and after speaking to customer service they will be sending us the correct cord. So happy with the help I received! We are so looking forward to using this remarkable tool for our food preservation. Thank you.

Great freeze dryer!

I rarely leave reviews unless it’s exceptionally good or terrible. We thought our Freeze Dryer was not working properly but found through very helpful and thorough customer service. The machine was operating better than before with the new firmware update. They are always updating and improving their product.

I'm very impressed with how the Harvest Right freeze dryer performs. It took me a little while to figure it out, but it works great!

Great product and great service. My drier required service and there was an actual person who walked me through the process and sent new parts and got it up and running very quickly. Great company...wish more were run like Harvest right!

Great Machine, Mostly Good Support System
I love the Harvest Right machine and the ability it gives me to store my harvest and great produce deals I find during the year. Overall I have really liked my machine and the quality of food it produces. I am docking 1 star because in the 2 years I've owned the machine I've had to contact customer service 3 times. The first 2 were for the same issue - something in the electrical shorted and it needed a new plug. Easy repair and Harvest Right facilitated wonderfully. The last was just recently for a repeated vacuum error. Unfortunately that one is just wear and tear and I need a new pump. I did have the old (not premier) pump though so hopefully their current pumps last longer than 2 years since they cost a significant amount.
While under warranty these customer service calls were fully covered and everything was taken care of easily. This last one was not under warranty and they required a $45 diagnostic fee. I was frustrated by that since this machine is quite expensive and really not very old. I feel a little better about it since they are applying that fee toward the new pump I need to buy, but I'd still prefer to see an option for some basic customer support without a fee.
If you purchase one of these machines, make sure to buy an extra set of trays. It allows you to always have the next batch prepped and ready to go so you can keep your freeze dryer running all the time.
