Harvest Right Freeze Dryer Reviews

I purchased a new Harvest Right Freeze Dryer on Oct 9, 2022, from Tractor Supply Company. After carefully following the instructions and a few attempts at getting to the bottom of the issue, it was apparent that it had a vacuum leak.

I phoned HR on 4 occasions and talked with a different tech. each time. I was surprised at how knowledgeable, supportive, and helpful each of them was. They walked me through and spent as much time as I needed to follow the steps.

I got to the point where I needed to open the back of the unit to check for a possible leak and I was not willing to do that since I had a 30-day return guarantee with Tractor Supply Company. I soon returned the unit and came home with a new freeze dryer and am so excited and pleased with the performance.

I cannot speak highly enough of the customer service that I received from both Harvest Right and Tractor Supply Company. I look forward to working with and maintenance of my freeze dryer with the safety of knowing that the tech support at Harvest Right will have my back no matter what, if any issues arise.

I am so happy with the customer service and have read many reviews and comments on the different supportive Facebook groups for freeze drying, of how very helpful and supportive the customer service team is at Harvest Right. It is very much like a family type support, knowing I will be helped if needed. Thank you Harvest Right!

I have to admit I was nervous to get the freeze dryer up and running, but by following the instructions in the manual and watching the online video for setup, everything went smoothly.

The dryer is working perfectly, and my first batch of raspberries came out beautiful! I have purchased freeze dried raspberries in the can for years, and the ones I did myself far exceed the ones I’ve been purchasing. Plump and delicious!

I have also done carrots from our garden. They turned out great as well. I sliced and blanched half the batch before freeze drying, and the other half I just sliced and put directly on the trays....prefer the flavor of the carrots that were not blanched. Yeah! A step eliminated!

So far I am thrilled with my freeze dryer. It’s pretty simple to use really, and there are lots of videos on YouTube by experienced users that give good information. Harvest Right customer service has been really good to answer my questions, too.

We have had our Harvest Right freeze dryer for 6 months and couldn’t be happier. This is an outstanding way to preserve all kinds of food. I would highly recommend Harvest Right freeze dryer to anyone looking for a way to save food for a rainy day.

We purchased our Harvest Right freeze dryer and upon setting it up, we have a problem with our vacuum pump. My husband called customer service and we are waiting to receive our new vacuum pump. He is mechanically inclined and has said that it is a well built machine just has an issue with the pump.

I love my Harvest Right Freeze Dryer and the service I have received has been great. I have referred several friends and family members who have bought Harvest Right Freeze Dryers as well. My mom recently bought a new Freeze Dryer and the impulse sealer wasn’t working. We connected with Greg, shared a video showing it wasn’t working, and he sent her out a new one along with an email confirming the replacement.

Awesome product! Customer service is always amazing and very quick to respond and the freeze dryers are build very well! Only regret is not getting the bigger one!

I received the freeze dryer much sooner than expected. It was packaged very well and arrived without damage which was a plus. Cleaned everything and set it up only to find the vacuum hose was missing. I was upset at first, but 'stuff' does happen.

After contacting HarvestRight, they expedited a hose to me. The test run and first bread run went without issues. On my fourth run (bananas and apple slices), when turning the machine on, it booted into factory setup. Quick phone call, and they walked me through the easy fix.

So far, I am very impressed with this machine and the customer support I have received.

Received the medium size freeze dryer and it was very easy to set up and use. The impulse sealer included with the machine did not seal the Harvest Right brand Mylar bags that I also got with the machine, but the customer service is amazing and they replied to me immediately. They are processing a replacement impulse sealer unit so I can hopefully be well on my way to packaging all of this awesome freeze dried food! Very exciting.

I have a medium freeze dryer and very happy with it, is not only a great product but the 3 times I have reached them with questions I got a quick response and excellent customer service.

I love my Harvest Right machine so much I ordered a second one! The first still works great, I just wanted an updated unit. I was able to gift my older machine to my daughter who is so excited to freeze dry food from her garden.

This has been one of the best investments I have made. I have had it since 2018 and have literally had very few issues. Get the large or you will wish you had.

The freeze dryer was easy to set up and operate. I have enjoyed using it for preserving the produce from my garden for use during the next winter. I keep it operating 24 hours/day and 7 days/week. As soon as one load finishes, I have another ready to put in.

We have had our Harvest Right Freeze Dryer just under a year now and are very pleased with our purchase. It's not difficult to operate but like an appliance, you have to learn it. The good news is there is plenty of videos and information out there. The best news is Harvest Right has fabulous customer service. When we did call in our tech was very helpful and made sure our issue was resolved. We highly recommend Harvest Right.

We love our Harvest Right freeze dryer! This is the best I vestment we have made in years! Wonderful customer service. Easy to use. Not to mention very economical. I would recommend to anyone that is interested in food storage.

We purchased our Harvest Right freeze drier in June, 2022. We purchased the oil-less pump. At first, the drier worked perfectly. After a few weeks, the pump would not pull down vacuum enough to allow a cycle to finish. Contacted HR support. Our technician worked with us to determine that the pump was faulty. We were able to trade our pump for a premium oil pump. We were given a credit for the difference in price, which is great since we use the Harvest Right Mylar bags. Since the pump change out, our machine has been running nearly 24/7. From pork chops, pulled pork, pasta sauce, to fruits and vegetables, to candy; we always get fantastic results.

Excellent product and great customer service! Our machine arrived damaged in shipping, the pallet had been pushed into another pallet and crushed the back of the box and dented the back of the unit. We refused delivery and I immediately went in the house to call Harvest Right to let them know what had happened. Customer service answered my call, apologized for the inconvenience and rushed a new machine to us which arrived 5 days later! I've been running the machine daily for two weeks now processing fruits veggies and meats. I wish we'd bought one sooner and I wish we'd bought the large instead of the medium so I could process more than I am. I'm addicted and we're eating healthy yummy food with a long shelf life because of Harvest Right. I highly recommend!

I have a medium and large freeze dryer in Ghana Africa, purchased the medium in 2016 and the large in 2021 the units have to work hard and they have served us well, HR has done well in helping us out when we had problems.
