My husband and I purchased a Harvest Right and received it at the end of October 2022, we have been using it almost non-stop since then. My husband calls it amazing and easy to use. We have been freeze drying lots of garden produce and eggs so far and plan to try many different foods. Customer service is professional and have gone out of their way to assist when we have an issue or question. A real pleasure to work with them.

I recently received my new freeze dryer and after my first batch finished, I turned the machine off for the night. When I turned it back on in the morning, the screen was showing “Factory Setup”…I thought I had done something wrong. A quick call to customer support and he walked me through getting it up and going again! Now on to my second batch.

We have had our Harvest Right freeze dryer only a couple of months but are very happy with everything we have tried so far. It is a wonderful way to preserve foods without taking up precious freezer space and they last much longer – plus they taste as good as freshly made! We like it so much, in fact, we are currently freeze-drying various goodies to put in Christmas gift baskets for our family – all items they love.

Really love my medium HarvestRight freeze dryer, set up was fast and the premier pump is very quiet and very low maintenance.

I bought my machine about a month ago and have loved it. I did have two problems. My impulse sealer wouldn't seal, but fortunately I live close to the plant and took it there. They replaced the heat strip and it still didn't work so they gave me a new one and tested it before I left. Extremely nice workers there.

The other problem was when I turned my machine off, it reset to factory settings. A quick call to the support line helped me get it set up again. Since then I have had no problems and are freeze drying many different items.

Very disappointed in Harvest Right and this freeze dryer. Specifically the vacuum pump. We Paid $1,295 (EXTRA) for the oil-less vacuum pump and have made it through a total of 43 cycles. We received an email marked "URGENT" that we needed to do a software update in June 2022. As soon as we completed the update, the dryer would no longer pull a complete vacuum. Contacted Harvest Right technician, and spent quite a bit of time following their troubleshooting procedures. Several times the Service Tech would quit responding to emails regarding the procedures. Only after calling customer service would they then respond, and act like they hadn't ghosted me. Three times while I was on the phone with customer service, the Service Tech emailed back and pretended like they hadn't ignored the previous correspondence. When he would finally respond some of the times, he would make me redo all the same troubleshooting tests and send in the data logs again as if he never had that information. Now I'm being told that the pump is bad and I have to pay to have it repaired. After doing some research, it appears that most people who paid for this "upgraded pump" have had lots of problems. Harvest Right not surprisingly, no longer sells this exact pump, but won't admit to selling subpar pumps to all of us who paid for a premium pump. The vacuum pump has mostly Chinese characters on the data tag, so I guess its not surprising that its failed so soon, but VERY disappointed that Harvest Right is selling junk and not making it right to customers after shelling out $5,000.00 Suffice to say, now I have a useless five thousand dollar freeze dryer sitting in my house due to poor customer service and poor customer service.

I called about upgrading to a premium pump and since my freeze dryer is 6 years old I wasn't sure if it was compatible. The technician (Alex) was so helpful and answered all of my questions and is making sure that I get what I need to make the transition go smoothly.

I really like my new harvest right freeze dryer and the long term food storage it offers I can make my own meals to my liking and freeze dry for a later day for camping,hiking or long winters if I am snowed in in the winter it is a great addition to persevering food

We bought the large Freeze Dryer with the Oil-less pump. We ran 3 cycles on the kitchen counter, and it did great. So great in fact, we bought a second unit. We have a large family, a large garden, and one cycle takes anywhere from 18 - 54 hours depending on the circumstances.

When we moved the freeze dryer to its permanent home and plugged it back in, the screen was back to "factory startup" mode. This was annoying, and we ended up having to call in and get an access code, which only took a few minutes.

I suggest you write down the access code if this happens to you, since it seems if you unplug it for a while, it'll go back to its default settings. I'm super happy with the freeze dryer, and the customer service was superb.

I purchased my freeze dryer in August '22 and have ran many batches through it. I have had a few issues, mostly vacuum failure but was able to fix myself after watching videos on the issue. I had to call for tech support only once when my machine would not go below 500 mTorr. The tech sent me specific directions on how to off-gas my machine and that resolved the issue. She even checked back upon me to make sure the next batch ran without problems. They have great support. The only thing I wish was better is that the user manuals need to be updated to reflect common problems and what steps to take to fix them. Still very happy with my HR FD!

Customer service is second to none, had placed a call to tech support for a simple fix, apt. was at 1130 and right on the dot my phone rang I honestly was surprised. The machine is a game changer when it comes to food storage and with food prices these days I just wish I got one sooner.. you won't regret getting one!

The harvest, right freeze dryer is so easy to use. The user manual has great explicit instructions. Also, once the machine is turned, on its steps you through the process, this system is pretty much fell proof.

Long freezing tie

I've recently purchased the large freezer and it has been working well. I've used it 6 times and have no serious complaints. Went on YouTube to learn about the product and tips for using it. My only complaint is I haven't found the way to set an alarm to sound when it's finished drying the food so I have to keep checking it and estimating a finish time.

Wanted this machine for years and finally made the purchase 8 months ago. A workhorse to say the least, it has been running 24/7 all but one week. Had issue with vacuum and tech was very helpful trying to get to the fix. Honestly love everything about this machine, does what it states to do. Trays, liners, everything has been top notch.

Time will tell if it's worth it

Works well so far. Would like more in-depth info specific to this product. Guide is a bit vague, but enough to get it moving. I ended up finding most of my info online, which could easily be put in the pamphlet

We are keeping the freeze dryer busy almost around the clock. It works great, it’s easy to use, and the food tastes amazingly fresh. This freeze dryer has more than met our expectations!
