This really has been an amazing machine. During COVID, our fresh produce ran out or went bad in 2 weeks. Even if I wanted to store more fresh and freeze them, my freezer is only so big.

This machine allowed me to freeze dry the produce and it allows me to not have to keep them refrigerated. I throw them into mylar bags with oxygen absorbers and I can keep things over 20 years. Great solution for camping, emergency prep and pandemics!

I love my Harvest Right Freeze Dryer. I've had it since 2019 and have found it revolutionized my food storage. It's been easy to use, and I only had one issue with it since that time, which was quickly resolved by customer service under warranty. I've built a large supply of food storage and am now working on meals I will use in 2024 to thru hike the Appalachian Trail.

I've been freeze drying since I got my machine (about a year ago) My whole family loves everything I make in my freeze dryer.

I purchased a medium freeze dryer in April 2022. Super easy to use, just load up your trays with food, place trays in machine and start it. It tells you when the food is done. Package according to instructions and you'll have food with up to a 25 year shelf life. I've packaged eggs, meats, fruit, veggies, soups, complete meals, leftovers, even ice cream sandwiches.

I purchased the medium size freeze dryer. This thing is uber heavy so you will need strong hands to help set this machine up.

However, the technical part of the set up was a breeze. You can follow the instructions or find a video on youtube like i did. I have it in my extra room, doesn't take up too much room and looks quite cute in there. Customer Service has been great. So far I've been been freeze drying candy and they've been a hit with family and friends. Can't wait to experiment more!!

This machine is great. I have been saving money by using my left overs and food items on sale. I bought the premier pump option; the oil is easy to change. The machine is easy to clean and use. The customer service is outstanding.

It is very well built, once everything is connected, by following easy to follow directions included, just follow the screen prompts and you are freeze drying after initial full run through. Note: Units and pumps are heavy, so plan accordlingly.

I travel for a living as a airline pilot and I recently worked with a coworker who used Harvey Right to free dry food for the road and he gave me some stew that was freeze dried, warmed it up and it was like it was right off the stove and it was cooked months prior. For someone that travels and worried about weight of ice, plus every other headache that goes along with trying to keep food fresh, and I have thrown away hundreds of not thousands of dollars on food at end of a trip. This is a game changer for me as I no longer have to worry about weight. Love this product. I have a small and I should have bought a medium. If you plan on doing a lot of food MED, or LARGE.

The Initial unboxing and setup of the freeze dryer was simple as can be. It’s an excellent product for making long lasting food for the family that won’t take up freezer and fridge space. Also good for emergency supplies for when SHTF. and it turns skittles and ice cream sandwiches into a little piece of heaven.

We purchased our harvest right freeze dryer in July of 2022 and it has been going continuously since we freeze dried a lot of our garden produce such as carrots, onions, tomatoes and cases of food which is past the Best Buy date. I am currently doing hamburger which Is so handy to reconstitute and use in cooking

My Harvest Right Freeze Dryer has been a great investment. When I first received it, I admit I was a bit intimidated but they have the process streamlined, straight-forward so it was actually easy to learn!

I have always wanted a freeze dryer and I purchased one March 2022. Yes, I have a few issues but Harvest Right techs have helped diagnose the problem quickly getting my machine back up and running. I liked the product so much that I purchased another unit in August of 2022. I have nothing but good things to say about my freeze dryer. I have saved so much money by freeze drying leftovers, putting up surplus fruit, etc. The food is delicious and I like the feeling of knowing that I can put away food that is not going to go bad for several years. Their techs are very knowledgeable and helped me out. I highly recommend this product in this company.

I ordered my medium Harvest Right freeze dryer in July of 2019. The primary purpose of my order was for emergency preparedness. I’ve ordered freeze dried food online but decided that I would like more variety in my freeze dried food stock and equally, I wanted to control what additives were put in the final product. The other thing I like is that I can package the finished product in the size that works best for me. For example; I can package one serving (one-half pint jar) of raw eggs rather than opening a number 10 can or a large envelope and having to repackage it or having eggs every day for a month fearing they will go bad. I just finished freeze drying twelve dozen (144) raw eggs. Depending on the item and proper unrefrigerated storage I expect the shelf life of a product to be 15 to 30 years.

Fast forward to January, 2023. I started having problems with the heating portion of the process. I contacted Customer Service on January 30th. I received an email response from customer service the same day! Not only did it acknowledge my inquiry but it contained attachments to update my software along with instructions about how to do it. I was amazed at the prompt response. The initial contact, lead me through several steps to test my system. After determining that the problem could not be fixed through basic steps the initial contact put me in touch with technical support. Technical support contacted me within 24 hours of my referral to them. Again, I was amazed at the prompt response. Technical Support was very courteous and very helpful. I give Customer Service and Technical Support an A+.

I recommend anyone with a freeze dryer, checkout the videos on YouTube to get ideas of what items can be freeze dried. Items with high sugar or lots of fat can be a problem. As with all the videos on the internet check out more than one video/source per subject.

Once you get going, it’s easy to use. It’s fun to try new things, but also awesome to not have to can!!! instead of 6-10 quart jars of tomatoes, I have 1 quart jar that I can use. plus, we’ve used the freeze dried candy as party favors and gifts. everyone loves it. Herbs are amazing freeze dried, also. I’ve done green beans, celery, fruits, and herbs. looking forward to doing more!

I bought my unit (medium Freeze Dryer) in December 2022. I had an issue (would not move past freeze cycle) with a couple of batches in a row. So I reached out to Harvest Right Customer Service. They quickly elevated it to their tier two technician. Over the course of a week, the tech (Maria Nunez) patiently worked me through the diagnostic process. Long story short….it was operator error (I did not get the drain valve closed enough to seal). She had me run a couple of test cycles (one without trays or food, and one with just water in the trays) after she identified the likely cause……just to make sure. She also taught me how to interpret the .CSV log files, so I could monitor the units performance. I could not be more satisfied!

I just cleaned out my food storage room of 365 bottles of old fruit. having this freeze dryer will allow me to replace all that old food with amazing dehydrated food that will last 20 to 25 years. We have had our freeze dryer not quite one year and have already used it almost 24/7 would have more stored except my husband keeps eating it all. Never had a problem with customer service and have always gotten things fixed or replaced or my questions answered in a timely manner.

Not for the faint of heart, When you have problems with the machine, you are the one who will have to fix it, Harvest right also changed the vacuum standard from 500 to 800 Mtorrs so your machine won't give you error messages, problem is now it takes longer for food to finish.

BEST purchase EVER!! Our purchase was smooth, shipping was quicker than anticipated, and I so love my Harvest Right Freeze Dryer. The quality is Great! Simple and Easy to use, and I very much love the fact that I'm going to save tons of money in the future preserving food now. So much easier than Canning!
