Very pleased with the purchase of the Harvest Right Freeze Dryer in the small model. Packed well to prevent any damage to the unit or accessories. Very simple to install - instructions for set-up were clear. Overall extremely easy to operate with step-by-step instructions for the various process steps. Have processed 7 batches so far with no equipment performance issues. There is a learning curve to overcome with the different recipes - as expected some foods dry faster than others - knowing how to load the trays and whether to add extra time to the cycle is an ongoing process. I have contacted Customer Service on several occasions - reaching them has been easy - if the Representative doesn't know the answer they have been able to contact Technical Support for more in depth answers. Overall very pleased with the purchase and would make it again.

Harvest Right freeze dryer is a great tool to your food preservation options. It is nice to have an option that maintains most of the nutritional value of the food.

Harvest right makes a fine freeze drying machine. We have been running it almost constantly since we brought it home. It might be the best investment we have used if inflation continues at this alarming rate.

I had an issue with my Harvest Right Freeze Dryer not operating correctly. After contacting Harvest Right, they contacted me back right away & with the assistance from Schyler H., A representative of Harvest Right, he assisted me in repairing my freeze dryer, getting me back to making freeze dried goodies. I am happy & totally satisfied with my Harvest Right Freeze Dryer & their professional customer service personnel like Schyler H.

We debated for almost a year, trying to decide whether or not we should purchase a freeze dryer to prepare our favorite essential foods for long-term storage, or to continue with our plan of canned and frozen foods. By the time we finally did commit to freeze drying, we had conducted extensive research and settled on the HarvestRight freeze dryer for its reputation of quality, robust design, reliability, price and customer service. The display screen and user interface is straight forward, almost intuitive and leads the user through the preparation of each batch. This is not a simple microwave however, and you must be prepared to read and follow instructions. With that said, he design of the machine is very well thought out for efficiency and economy. Continuous product improvement is alive and well at HarvestRight. We have received and effortlessly installed at least three software upgrades which have improved the operating performance of the machine. Needless to say, we have NOT been disappointed with our HarvesRight purchase a little over a year ago. The ease of setting up the freeze dryer for each batch, using and maintaining the HarvestRight has only been surpassed by the results. We have continuously sampled the many different meats, vegetables, fruits, eggs, and other items as we freeze dried them, and have been pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste. Our only regrets were that we had wasted a year of valuable time not having a HarvestRight freeze dryer, and getting prepared for what are certain to be leaner times ahead.

This machine has been working good for us so far. The unit comes with an impulse sealer. The one we received didn't work. I reached out to customer support and they sent out a new one right away. We received the new one and it worked as it should. Then we got a bill from FedEx for the shipping. Thinking Harvest Right would cover the cost due to their bad unit, I called in and asked for a refund. They were unwilling to refund us and instead offered to pay us for reviewing their machine.

I have been happy with my Harvest Right freeze dryer. The customer service has been great and that is very important when investing your money into something.

I purchased the 4-tray harvest Right medium freeze dryer. I have had this product for three years now. So far, this has been a good product. The vacuum switch needed to be replaced; the customer service department helped me get this replaced. I was delighted with this experience.

I highly recommend a Harvest Right Freeze Dryer. It is easy and fun to try different things. The customer service is excellent.

If you are into delicious snacks, then the HR is for you! It runs like a champ! 4 out of 5 because I've had to call tech support a few times. They are awesome every time!

We have had our freeze dryer a couple of months now. We are loving it. It was easy to set up and is easy to use. We had a technical problem recently and when I called Harvest Right they were very helpful in fixing the issue.

This is a perfect machine for those who do not know how to can items. This is a simple process for me. I purchased a medium freeze dryer and have learned that if you cut and freeze your fresh fruits the same day as you purchase them, the final finished product is amazing. So much more appealing than what you see sold in stores. I have great success with strawberries, pineapple, apples and ice cream. The final product looks perfect! And taste great!

The customer support team is always available to help with any question also. As a newbie, I had plenty of questions.

We have had our Harvest Right FD since spring 2021 and have used it a good deal, especially during the harvest of our garden. We recently had issues with mid-batch heater failure. The Harvest Right technician was very accommodating to finding the times that fit our schedule to walk us through the steps to correct the issue. We do have a few recommendations to offer: One would be to let us know in advance what tools would be needed to remove the cover of the FD (step ladder, hex tool and potentially a Dremel). Once we had moved the required wires to fix the issue, we needed apples to do a test run. It was a day to two before we could get the apples to do the test run. The test run was successful and the overall experience with HR and the HR technician was very positive.

We have a few different harvest right freeze dryers that we use and we have had ongoing problems with a few of them. We have had issues with the heating and drying and lost many batches and product because of it. When we called Harvest Right for assistance, they sent us a replacement part, which ended up being the wrong one. Send us another replacement part and after taking the whole machine apart, we discovered it was still the wrong part. We called Harvest Right and they confirmed it was the wrong part. We ended up fixing it ourselves with our own tools and resources but it didn't solve the problem. The next time we called they were helpful in the sense that they sent us a replacement shelving unit. However, it still did not solve our problem. It has been a very frustrating journey and have easily lost enough batches to equal the cost of one of these freeze dryers. The only reason why I would recommend is because they are the only company that really makes decent home freeze dryers and when the batches actually do work, the food is great.

we have had our Freeze Dryer (Medium size) for almost 6 years and loved it so much we just purchased a large size and gave our medium to our daughter. it is a great high quality system and now our whole family is enjoying the art of freeze drying. your the best
