Customer service sucks. not only do they expect you to be a small appliance repair person, but they don't provide a proper replacement for something that does not work and on top of that... not only is the part refurbished, but they do not extend the warranty. crappy customer service with a manager that has an attitude. they also do not allow comments on facebook and only post the ones that they like.

This company is an amazing place!!! Their customer service is on point. I had a rare issue with my new large unit and they went above and beyond to fix it. I would highly recommend this company to anyone looking for a freeze dryer. I will DEFINITELY purchase from them again

I'm so happy I invested in the Harvest Right Freeze Dryer! I can now make my own shelf-stable healthy snacks and meals without relying on commercially processed foods. It's perfect for camping trips or busy days when I'm on the go. The machine is easy to use, and I love that it preserves the nutritional value of my food. It's a game-changer for anyone who wants to eat healthier and live a more natural lifestyle.

I’ve had my eye on one of these for abut 5 years. After researching options, cost effectiveness and watching You Tube videos by freeze dryer users, and planning and convincing my spouse, I finally got one in October 2022. It is everything I hoped it would be! It is remarkable that I now have the ability to preserve food in a way it can last for 20 years and still taste good and be nutritious! If you are considering this, do your homework and GO FOR IT!

The online communities are fantastic with idea sharing. Harvest Right company has been responsive the 2 times I needed support. Mine works well and it’s much simpler than I thought it would be. So far I’ve preserved avocados, eggs, berries, chicken (both cooked and raw), protein bars, peas, corn, ice cream, and baked mac and cheese! What I wanted most was to preserve food we would eat in an emergency and be able to control the nutrition. Pre packaged freeze dried foods are generally high in sodium. I can freeze dry our meal leftovers, and take advantage of local grocery store sales. Be sure you have the proper amp outlet before you buy.

We use ours in the garage where proper amp available. I have the large size (on a 30 amp outlet). The shape of the outlet wasn’t a fit for the latest, updated cord shape. I called the manufacturer and HR suggested Home Depot for a GFCI outlet. We got one, had it put in and been running smoothly ever since.

This freeze dryer is exactly what I needed! I had no idea how much money it will save me on leftovers alone. I have been using it since October 2022 and it has turned into a great hobby!

In the past 4 months we have been able to freeze-dry all kinds of fruits: apples, pears, grapes, bananas, blueberries, pineapple, strawberries, avocados, and more. Veggies including carrots, yams, potatoes, tomatoes (one of my favorites), broccoli, corn, peas, beans, cauliflower, peppers, onions, garlic, and celery. Jalapeno peppers and various herbs are coming up.

Main dishes include soups & casseroles. We also love the yogurt, sour cream, banana cream pudding bites, pumpkin pie bites, ice cream (one of my favorites), skittles, and more desserts/sweets, The meats include pork tenderloin, ham, spare ribs, BBQ pork chops, burgers, chicken, London broil, ground beef, and bone broth. I have also done a lot of cheese! I think I could survive just about anything with enough cheese!

I love being able to FD leftovers so it cuts the waste.

It is so easy to use.

I wanted one when they first came out but thought it was not a necessity. Now, with our economy the way it is, I am grateful to be able to prepare for harder times to come, and realize that it IS a NECESSITY, and worth every penny!

Now is the time to take action! You don't know it, but you NEED this! I am glad I waited until now, because they have improved them a LOT! The maintenance is so easy, and customer support has been great!

Great customer service from John Tanyag. My issues are with the insulated top coming lose on both of my machines as well as the bottom shelf not working as well as the other shelves. I have only had my machines about 10months or less and having the above issues on both.

My work around on the bottom shelves not heating like the others is stopping the candy batch after a few minutes of drying moving the tray from the bottom rack to another rack and restarting the candy batch.

I find it strange that this started happening on Both machines but John says it's normal. He also sent me a link to double sided tape to re-adhere the insultation to the top again.

Hey, just purchased my Harvestright freeze dryer a month ago and have done lots of meat and eggs and yogurt and one of my favorites so far is that you can preserve your leftovers without having to throw them out and make a lot of things to preserve to eat later. Candy is a lot of fun and takes only around 4 hours.

After a lot of research we decided to purchase the Harvest Right Large Freeze Dryer. We have done about 6 batches so far and have been amazed at how good everything turns out! Right now I even have candy freeze drying! It's easy to use and customer service quickly answered a question we had about a message that popped up on the screen. We recommend this to anyone who wants to build up their food storage.

My only regret about Harvest Right Freeze dryers is not buying one sooner. I wanted one for a year and finally bought a large to try to catch up for the lost time. It has worked flawlessly for 4 months with each batch going in as soon as the defrost cycle finishes. I sample each batch and share with friends and we are all surprised by the enhanced taste of foods and how they return to their fresh quality. I bought 3 sets of trays and have 2 batches waiting in the freezer to go in while I anxiously await the dry cycle to finish. I thought having a freeze dryer would be satisfying but it only made me want another. One of my best purchases ever.

Remember to order oil...it was a pain to wait for oil when all I wanted to do is freeze something! The service dept is very nice. I just love my freeze-dryer!

Alex was very knowledgeable about transactions pertaining to my order. He suggested an offer that saved me more than half on my order. I have been having issues with my Harvest Right freeze-dryer and was a little disappointed with technical support. Along comes Alex and my opinion has greatly improved with his knowledge & handling of my call. Harvest Right, Alex is an asset, be sure to keep him. I love my Harvest Right when it's working, started to regret having a $4,000+ paperweight.

We just purchased a medium sized Harvest Right freeze dryer and freeze dried mushrooms, beets, Skittles, and Jolly Ranchers over the weekend. Our adult children came to visit and loved using this amazing machine. We recognize that this is a great investment to aid our entire family in preserving good, nutritious food without spoilage or waste.

We recently purchased the medium Harvest Right freeze dryer. So far, we've processed 7 batches (meat, vegetables, fruit and even candy). So far so good! The machine is very easy to setup, use, and clean. No complaints so far! And customer service was great (the one time I needed a bit of advice).

The Harvest Right Freezer was a wonderful investment!!!! I love the versatility and the many food options I have with the Havest Right Freezer. The touch screen is awesome and easy to understand and operate. I'd had some error issues and a bad tech at one point but that was all straightened out and my unit is being serviced. Josh with tech support has been wonderful!!! Two Thumbs up!!! Thank you for your professionalism!!

The Harvest Right Freeze Dryer works fantastically to preserve food, which will last for 25 years!

Satisfied with our freeze dryer and excited for the possibilities of worry free food preservation, and new ways to use food! Well built machine, easy to use, customer service is great the few times I've had to call them. We are well pleased with the final product of the batches we have done.

The instructions were easy to follow. A few error codes came up, & ongoing vacuum challenges partly due to rubber seal size issues, but so far Harvest Right Customer Service rectified most problems I've had, including sent me defective pieces free of charge. These machines are a BIG learning curve, but for me, the goal of Long Term food storage is worth it! It's a big investment & I couldn't have survived without the customer service line & FB Freeze Dry groups help!

Technician was awesome, I'm not happy with my machine shutting down waiting for a code from Harvedt Right.

We have been running the medium freeze drier practically non stop for almost a year. The results are outstanding and the unit is consistent and reliable. The customer service is prompt and courteous. The pump can be on the noisy side so have a space set aside with this in mind. Highly recommended.

My Harvest Right freeze dryer is one of my best purchases. It works so well preserving fresh foods that it is now my favorite preserving method. Can't imagine not having a freeze dryer now. I recommend purchasing extra trays, lids and silicone mats for easier prepping and cleanup. Harvest Right's support team is outstanding, they'll help with any questions or problems and to me, that's as important as the product itself.
