We have chickens and so many eggs. With only 2 in our household and so many eggs we bought something to preserve them. Now we freeze dry everything. It stays fresh, colorful, amazing flavor and will last 20 years. I plan on buying another as soon as I can save for another freeze dryer. I tell everyone what a amazing company Harvest Right is . Don’t hesitate buying one best purchase I have made.

It is absolutely a game changer to be able to prep food from our garden, place in a freeze dryer, and walk away until the end product gives us food that can be stored for a long period of time. The process is long but virtually hands off while it's working. For the most part, most foods come out just as fresh tasting as when it was picked. Learning the machine is a little tricky(do I need extra dry time?) but the Customer Svc team is patient and helpful. We now can have a zero waste harvest and instant meals and snacks. Video (Youtube) lessons are definitely useful. Money well spent!

i have had my freeze dryer for almost 3 years. i use it intermittently now ( the first year i used it very frequently, almost constantly). there is a definite big learning curve and i am still learning. overall i have thoroughly enjoyed my machine and have found it very useful. it arrived in excellent condition, and the basic starting instructions were ok, but not great. that was the one area i really felt like they did a poor job. one would have thought they would have had an excellent beginners book on how to freeze dry and things to do and not do. i think there are some books out now but i haven't checked lately. customer service overall has been good. some people have had issues at times and others had no issues. i have had a few but overall they have been able to had resolve them. i had to get a new relay board, but they were reasonable in getting it resolved. i recently had a vacuum issue and they helped resolve it and it is now ok. i had a minor issue today and they helped me easily.

it does take some figuring out as far as temperature control for the room it is in, as well as it is rather noisy. be careful about the table or cart you put it on.

again, overall i am very satisfied with my machine.

Just a friendly warning!!! If your machine fails and is required to be sent back to Harvest Right, YOU will be required to pay the shipping costs. My machine quit after having it less than 3 months, after sending in the log files and doing the water batch test. I was informed that my machine would have to be sent back to Harvest Right for repairs, shipping from Arizona to Utah and back, $340 ... They offered me a $100 credit to my account for leaving a 5 star review, no thanks...

We live in Australia and had no idea where to begin to find info on how to get started or where to buy a Freeze Drying machine.

The customer support, if needed, is an excellent service provided directly from Harvest Right. I have had personal experience with the wonderful technicians who have helped resolve my machine's issue. If help is needed with issues your machine might have, you can call Harvest Right directly and speak with an available technician. I was guided by the technician to troubleshoot the issue and resolve it completely over the phone. Love the products and service!

We purchased our first freeze dryer back in March to do our own prepping for our family, but it quickly turned into everybody in the family, wanting us to do stuff for them! We also started our own little freeze dried candy business, which is more than helping pay us back for this machine. We actually just purchased our second machine! Whether you are you trying to start a side hustle or you are just prepping for emergency food for your family you can’t go wrong with this unit!!

After owning our medium Freeze dryer for a few years, we started having a couple of issues. Fortunately, tech services is there to help us troubleshoot the problem over the phone. We love the finished product and hope to be back in operation soon.

My garden has been producing abundant amounts of vegetables the past two years and I've been giving away all the excess because there was no more freezer space. A relative of mine recently purchased a unit and had me try some of the items they had freeze dried for the same reasons I purchased one. Too many vegetables going to waste or being given away. Some I ate as chips, and the meals, I hydrated. Both ways were amazing. I finally dove in and bought one. I have my first batch in now and am looking forward to see if it really is as easy as it has felt so far.

We have been using the large freeze dryer quite frequently. Drying everything that we don't eat all of --especially milk and eggs. Been using the powdered eggs for making bread and recently jumped into candy to give as gifts. It's great fun!

Maybe my favorite thing to do is dried soup. Just add hot water and it's just as good as it was when we cooked the first time.

We've had a few technical issues along the way but customer service is very responsive and we've been able to remedy very quickly.

I've been using my medium size freeze dryer for 15 months. A call to customer service does not disappoint. No run around on a phone tree. Staff is very knowledgeable, well trained, and helpful. I have never encountered an unpleasant experience which is saying a lot these days!!

The HarvestRight freeze dryer is amazingly well made. We have been enjoying all of or freeze dried food and it has already paid for itself!

I've been dealing with Harvest Right for a few years. Our current Pharma model is a work horse. I would highly recommend the company to anyone, home or business looking for a freeze dryer. I recently had an issue with my LCD screen USB board and the company was extremely attentive to the issue and had it fixed with a new part sent quickly. Customer service is above average!!

I have a Large Gaden and needed a way to store veggies for the winter as well as left-overs from large meals. The Harvest Right Freeze Dryer has worked very well for over 3 years and my family enjoys fresh produce throughout the winter. The unit is easy to use and keep clean. Highly Recommended.

I waited over a year to get my HR med refurbished unit and I finally broke down and ordered one. It came fairly quickly, And last week i unpacked it. Let it stand for several days and then tried to set it up to find i was missing the drain hose ( called and they sent one out and wanted me to pay shipping for it ) Then i started setting it up again Only to discover the wrong power cord had been delivered. Again, HR wants me to pay shipping and they refused overnight delivery. I am frustrated by this non-customer help.

I was able to borrow a cord for 2 days and have run 2 loads. All seems to work and im now working thru the learning curve. I am excited by the possibilities and look forward to future fun.

We have one of the original design analog Harvest Right freeze driers. It does an excellent job when you pay attention and do everything correctly. Service and cleanliness is important to end up with a quality freeze dried product. The bonus is enjoying a quality freeze dried product.

Ive had about 15 units through my time at different companies and I cannot express how easy and efficient the machines are. Customer service is also quick and easy making the set up process fast for anyone. Best on the market hands down

We got our Harvest Right freeze dryer a year ago. It has been busy ever since. I have a big garden and it’s a wonderful way to preserve the harvest. The wide variety of things it preserves is phenomenal. From flowers and herbs to eggs and sour cream. Things don’t go to waste anymore, and it keeps for decades!

We purchased a Harvest Right freeze dryer in October. We have run 5 full batches of fruit and yogurt stars. It is really a very interesting process. We needed to call Harvest Right 3 times for questions that we had. They were very kind and helpful. If anyone has ever thought of freeze drying, we highly recommend Harvest Right!

I am a proud owner of a Harvest Right Freeze Dryer for over one year. The Freeze Dryer is wonderful. It has run into some issues but the Harvest Right team of Technicians is very responsive to help resolve the issue. There are videos and checklists to help you walk through and perform the troubleshooting and repair of the Freeze-Dryer. They are very patient, thorough, and helpful in resolving any issue you may have. I would like to see Harvest Right extend promotions regarding free shipping outside the Continental United States and provide money-saving promotions to those in Alaska and Hawaii. Or, at least, knock off the cost of shipping and apply it to the freeze-dryer itself. Another thing I would like to add, it appears that they are always tweaking the firmware to improve operational performance and functionality. After one year, I have noticed an improvement in the overall process and results. It would be really beneficial if Harvest Right would have an extended warranty program for clients so that we can continue to have that top-notch technical support. Their history, continuity in the Free-Drying business, and technical support are paramount.
