BuyGoods Review: Is it Legitimate?

Reviewopedia staff  -  Updated:  July 14, 2023

BuyGoods is a company offering a management platform for product owners and affiliate marketers which includes sales tracking, analytics, and reporting.

The company also directly lists health & wellness supplements and other lifestyle products in its online catalog at BuyGoodsSupplements.com.

How Does BuyGoods Work?

BuyGoods is essentially a middleman that uses their software to bring together product owners and affiliate marketers.

Ecommerce has changed the way business is done and now anyone can easily sell physical products or eBooks online.

However, to be successful you need to get the word out about your items, hence the rise of affiliate marketing.  Affiliates/publishers are content creators who are looking for a way to earn more money for the work they do.

Using a service such as BuyGoods allows marketers to browse a database of products to find something that matches their audience’s needs.

If the content publisher find an item to promote they can use BuyGoods tracking codes and sales tools to advertise the products on their own website.

When one of their readers makes a purchase using their link, the they receive a commission from the seller.

These kinds of affiliate partnerships create win-win relationships for all parties involved.

  1. The content creator has a product to sell to their website visitors.

  2. The product creator gets additional sales without having to do any additional advertising themselves.

  3. BuyGoods collects a fee for providing the technology to connect the content creator and product creator.

BuyGoods has no membership costs for those looking to purchase a product from their catalog.

The company also sells products with recurring subscription fees so be aware of what you're signing up for to make sure you do not incur additional charges.

BuyGoods Products

The platform hosts a wide variety of product categories including:

  • CBD Oils
  • Health & Wellness
  • Hearing
  • Dental Health
  • Digital Products
  • Supplements
  • Survival
  • Weight Loss

BuyGoods also has a spinoff platform, BuyGoodsSupplements.com, which is exclusively dedicated to BuyGoods supplements.

Some of the main concerns customers have regarding how legitimate a company BuyGoods is has to do with the quality of products and the type of marketing tactics that the company allows on their platform.

Many of the products are of questionable quality and are sold using gimmicky or high pressure sales tactics.

While BuyGoods is not directly responsible for the creation of these products, they do sell them through their platform and often take the heat for subsequent customer complaints.

As an example, two highly popular companies that BuyGoods work with, Science Natural Supplements and Java Burn, have largely negative reviews on Reviewopedia.

Customer Reviews & Complaints

BuyGoods, Inc. has an A rating with the BBB, though they do have over 60 customer complaints listed in the last 3 years.

The company receives an average rating of 4.34/5 stars from over 350 customer reviews there.

In general, the negative reviews for BuyGoods can be split into two categories, product complaints and customer service issues.

Many negative customer reviews which are mainly intended for the products themselves are attributed to BuyGoods because they are the payment processor and main point of contact for issuing refunds.

As mentioned earlier, many BuyGoods products are weight-loss and health supplements of questionable quality and are sold through marketing tactics using exaggerated claims of their effectiveness.

Many BuyGoods supplements are marketed as being effective for relief from serious medical conditions such as failing eyesight, obesity, and even diabetes.

When some such supplements fail to deliver any noticeable improvements, customers may believe that BuyGoods is a scam.

Negative customer reviews regarding customer service issues commonly involve clarity regarding refunds.

For example, one customer reviews  mentioned that the 60 day refund period starts from the time you place your order, not from when you receive the product.

BuyGoods seems to honor their 60-day refund policy but don’t often make exceptions if you exceed it.

There were also some complaints of delayed and or unreceived orders, however these complaints were in the minority.

BuyGoods customer service reps regularly respond to negative online reviews and attempt to resolve issues by offering refunds.

Customers who would like to contact customer service with any questions, concerns, or complaints can do so by phone at 302-404-2568, by using the Contact Form on the website, or by email at [email protected].

The company addresses are:

BuyGoods Inc
1000 North West st. Suite #1200
Wilmington, DE 19801

and

800 W Main St Ste 1460
Boise, ID 83702-5983

Refund Policy

BuyGoods states that all products purchased on BuyGoods.com automatically come with a “no questions asked” 60-Day Money Back Guarantee.

To initiate a return you will be required to look up your order through your online account and then click “Submit Refund Request.”

Customers who ordered physical products will then be given a specific return address where they will need to mail the product back.  BuyGoods will not provide refunds for return shipping fees at any time.

Competitors and Alternatives?

Whether you are an affiliate marketer, product developer, or customer there are many legitimate e-commerce platforms available.  Some of the most popular names include Shopify, Amazon, Square, and Commission Junction.

You should further research which platform may fit your specific needs the best.

Is BuyGoods Legitimate?

In a nutshell, BuyGoods is a real company that provides a real service to online sellers and content creators.

If you were to judge the company's services apart from the products that are sold on their platform, then the company passes all tests.

The issues come into play when you factor in the types of products that are typically sold via their platform.

A common accusations against BuyGoods is that the company is largely a host for low quality products that wouldn’t be accepted on other, more legitimate platforms.

While there may be some truth to that claim, you can sometimes find the same products for sale on Amazon.com and BuyGoods.com.

As a precaution, if you do come across an advertisement for a product using BuyGoods as a payment processor, we would recommend researching the product thoroughly before purchasing.  This is particularly the case when it comes to supplements.

If you have any experience with BuyGoods.com or their products, please leave your reviews below.

Buyer Beware- They Don't Honor Refunds
March 23, 2024
I purchased a product to try and was charged $158.39. I called the same day to cancel this. They said "it shipped" but I could return it unopened which I did. Instead of honoring their no charge under their "60 day customer satisfaction - no questions asked rule" I was charged the $158.39. They also charged me for a monthly subscription model which I didn't ask for.

They are scamming on S&H by saying a little box protects the product
December 11, 2023

I ordered 5 supplements for what was supposed to be for $67 per month. But the shipping charge was for $29.95 to ship this gold "box", which was sent in a plastic bag.

These people are making money on shipping....the shipping charge was a separate charge on my debit card. Red flag....buyer beware.

This company has no integrity
October 27, 2023

My intent for writing this review is to warn the public about BuyGoods's lack of integrity. and to avoid any dealings with this fraudulent entity. I have been corresponding with them via email for several months in an effort to secure a sizable refund and their methods and strategies have become apparent to me.

I purchased a product from Kerressetials.com on May 21, 2023. I felt comfortable with the purchase since there was a 60-day trial with a full refund guaranteed.

7 weeks later, I contacted them via email and then telephone to request a full refund. I was told to send the product back and was given an address.

No refund was forthcoming and a couple of weeks later I called to ask why. I was told that they had not received the product. I accepted their reasoning and proved they in fact did receive the product by producing the UPS tracking code. By this time, two months had passed since the purchase. They agreed to the refund and refunded only $ 3,48.00 to my debit card, not $990.00 for a full refund. When I called them, they told me I had to deal with BuyGoods for my full refund.

BuyGoods has been extremely polite and prompt in their emails. Perhaps even obsequious. In many emails that went back and forth, they declared that the bank was rejecting their attempts to refund me. I therefore contacted my bank and notified them of the problem. My bank told me to instruct them to try again and it would not be rejected.....BuyGoods supposedly attempted another refund unsuccessfully. At this point, I asked my bank for any proof that they rejected a refund. They stated that no refund was ever received other than the first one.

I asked BuyGoods to send me a check but they told me their only way of refunding me was through the debit card.

Here's what I have deduced:

1) After 2 months Visa doesn’t allow for disputed charges. In my opinion, That's why my return of product "got lost."

2) Despite their polite emails, there was never a true intention to refund me and they fabricated a "company policy" which prevented them from sending me a check.

3) They dragged this out for 2 months hoping that I would just give up and disappear.

4) I have probably corresponded with at least six different agents, asking them to initiate a refund but clearly a decision has been made to stonewall me.

So the best I can do at this point is to make known that these companies have no integrity and buyer beware.

"Fraud suspected"
October 22, 2023

Note about rating: I have no direct experience w co.

I read some favorable comments about dealing with Buy Goods & filled out an online form to buy Fitspresso, but when I clicked "Buy Now," I got a message on the order of "Processor refused. Fraud suspected." (Wording? Can't bring message back up.)

Confused customer
October 3, 2023

My experience with Buygoods was a disaster. I followed their instructions and never could find my order four different times with different people.

Today is October second I’ll try to get in touch with them tomorrow, wish me luck.

Charges...

Buygoods charged me for products I never ordered.

Complete scam - Takes your money and ghosts you
July 18, 2023

This site is a total scam. They take your money and never send the product. They even go to the trouble of creating a shipping label. It costs them nothing and gives the customer the false impression that their delivery is in process.

I am the first to admit that shipping errors happen - packages get mis-labeled or lost. The latter typically happens AFTER the US Post Office takes possession of the package. I contacted BuyGoods Customer Service and was greeted by a very polite associate. She seemed genuinely interested in resolving my delivery issue. A reship was arranged.

Again, I got confirmation along with tracking information, and then lightning struck twice. That package never made it to FedEx. I can understand one deliver problem, but two on the SAME order?

I contacted the payment service (PayPal) and they immediately refunded my money. This would indicate that they are familiar with the shipping problem; otherwise, there would have been emails back and forth with BuyGoods to understand their side of the matter.

They are thieves
July 17, 2023

They are fraudulent. Do not trust them with your money or purchases. They will not let you cancel an order they will then offer you a 50% refund on unshipped items. One word, thieves!

Trust worthiness
July 3, 2023
I paid for Exipure products online in mid May. Earlier tracking order indicated the order has been picked up by DHL e-Commerce. BuyGoods now emailed me and said that the order has been cancelled without any reason. I hope I will truly receive the refund in due course.

To the point with out all the garb.
June 22, 2023

The video on a juice for weight loss is too long which says they are borderline on whether they have a good product or not. Who wants to watch a long video explaining the same thing over and over?

Thieves
June 20, 2023
I didn't buy anything from them and was charged $177 on my credit card. I did not order or receive any product. My bank cleared it up but it cost me a week without my debit card. So now they are stealing?

Highly Unprofessional and Non-Responsive
June 19, 2023

My experience with Buygoods.com has been nothing short of disappointing, leading me to give them a 1-star rating. I want to highlight the key issues I have encountered during my interactions with this company.

Violation of Cease and Desist Notice: Despite serving Buygoods.com with a legally binding cease and desist notice, they have shown a complete disregard for the law by continuing their spamming practices. They have failed to honor the notice, highlighting their unethical conduct and lack of respect for legal obligations.

Lack of Communication: One of the most frustrating aspects of dealing with Buygoods.com is their refusal to communicate regarding the aforementioned issue. They have consistently ignored my attempts to reach out via multiple channels, including emails, phone calls, and social media. Their lack of responsiveness demonstrates a complete disregard for customer concerns and a lack of professionalism.

Non-Compliance with Anti-Spam Laws: Buygoods.com's persistent violation of anti-spam laws is not only unethical but also raises concerns about their business practices. By ignoring legal obligations, they not only inconvenience customers but also compromise data privacy and security.

Unprofessional Behavior: Blocking customers on social media platforms is a clear indication of unprofessionalism and a lack of accountability. It is highly disappointing that Buygoods.com resorts to such tactics instead of addressing customer issues and providing satisfactory solutions.

In summary, Buygoods.com's refusal to honor a cease and desist notice and their lack of communication regarding this issue are highly unprofessional. Their continued violation of anti-spam laws raises serious concerns about their business practices. I strongly advise potential customers to exercise caution when considering any interactions with Buygoods.com, as they have shown a complete disregard for legal obligations and customer satisfaction.

BuyGoods Shady Dealing

TOTAL SCAM. Products are ineffective, and they bill you nearly double what the order page says it will cost. They promise a full refund if not satisfied, but so far I am getting less than half of what they owe me.

EllenKelly-Bleakley December 11, 2023

I highly agree, when shipping for their "Gold Box", that comes in a plastic bag and charges $29.95 for S&H. The red flag for me was that the S&H was a separate charge in my account.

This is utter deceit.

They are Liars & Thieves!
May 20, 2023

Hello, I ordered the Cortexi on April 24th, 2023. Its been 3 weeks now & still have not received it.

You're probably the Only one who has had a good experience with Buy Goods.

If it’s a supplement offered by Buy Goods, you will be dissatisfied with it’s performance.
March 15, 2023

I have purchased supplements of varying types from Buy Goods in the past. On all occasions I have returned the products for full refunds. I no longer buy any supplements offered by them, not because of Buy Goods themselves, but because none of the products ever stood up to the hype.

The company may be legit and credited by the BBB with an A rating, but don’t expect any of their supplements to live up to their advertised claims. If I see a product is being offered by Buy Goods, I stop looking at it. I have better ways to waste my time.

Not a trustworthy company
February 15, 2023

They guarantee satisfaction, no questions asked, 100% refund within 60 days. I returned 1 bottle that I ordered in error, I paid $81.00 USD, the refund I received was $69.00 USD. I don’t think that this is 100%

I also ordered a package of 3 bottles, it arrived on January 3, 20023. I used one bottle and I derived absolutely no benefit from it, so I asked to return it for a refund. The answer I received was that I missed the return deadline that was February 9th. Again, I don’t think that from January 3rd to February 14th is 60 days.

I don’t trust this company, and would not even recommend them to my enemies, if I had any.

FRAUD!
August 29, 2022
Buy goods is a fraud. All they will do is cheat you out of your money. I ordered one bottle of product for $72. On the phone verified it was one bottle for $72. Then I receive an email that says I ordered two bottles for $124. I called and complained. And I get this is all our mistake it’ll take 7 to 10 days to refund your money though. Total fraud do not order from this company ever ever ever. They tack on extra orders hoping you will not notice the charges on your card.

RaymondFenech January 26, 2023

Thanks for the tip, I was going to order Sonuvita capsules and I have changed my mind. I had already ordered pills that are supposed to improve eyesight but I might as well have continued buying the medicines my doctors and opticians prescribed because they made no effect whatsoever.

I am starting to believe all these fake studies of new remedies are a total scam. It's shameful to steal money and I believe such web sites should be investigated and closed.

They should be made to refund every client and sent to serve jail time. Taking advantage of people who are ill and need support is inhumane and abusive to say the least!

This company can only be contacted by email.
August 12, 2022
I ordered a product from this company and 8 days later I still have not been able to track the package it may be coming in. They say it is going to USPS and after our 1st contact they added that it is with UPS which we have no tracking number for. So far all I can think is that it's a scam.
