No Visitors, Poor Customer Service, Waste of Time
At first, I was very excited about Bonanza as an alternative to Ebay. I'm a powerseller on Ebay, but I'm tired of their fees and Nazi like tactics, so I decided to give Bonanza a try. I spent several hours listing my items, waited for them to activate my account, which took longer than the 24 hours they tell you it will take. Eventually I had to email them and tell them it had been almost 36 hours. They immediately activated my account.
After a full day, I had not received a single view on any of my items. Not one. Nobody had visited or looked at any of my items and they are all pretty popular items. I even signed up for additional advertising in which you pay more commissions, and still nada.
I emailed them about this and they responded with a canned response that was completely irrelevant. They clearly didn't take any time to research my issue. The email told me to do a bunch of things that I had already done.
I have since emailed them 3 times requesting assistance and they have not responded. Then, I finally got a response and it said "We are marking this ticket as resolved"!!! LOL. Resolved!? No one had ever gotten back to me.
I wrote back one more time and told them this was not resolved. I explained that I was an Ebay powerseller and I am looking for an alternative to Ebay. They still have not responded, so they must not care.
I won't be using them again and I cannot recommend them to anyone. Awful, waste of time.
CS doesn't care if you stay or you go
We were sellers through Bonanza from another platform. We had a few sells but nothing too great. Then one day we get an email telling us that our payment method needs to be updated. My wife tries to log into our account but can't. She leaves it alone, gets another email on updating our card on file. She tries again to log in. Still can't. She tries many different things but it says our user name does not exist even though they use our user name on the emails. Eventually I reach out to CS. Long story short, they have decided that after we pay the outstanding fees that we also owe a $25 reactivation fee.
So a review: they tell us we need to update a card that works, lock us out so we can't update the said card, then tells us we need to pay a fee to reactivate the account. I tell them I want to cancel the account due to this issue and it is just, okay we understand, just let us know when you have made that payment. Blase blase, who cares. I belong to a group that literally has thousands of people using Bonanza. I'm going to share this info. I'm not sure if this is shady business or just bad CS. One way or another it is a bad way to do business.
TERRIBLE
Avoid!!! Took money but never delivered!!!
I ordered a DVD on December 17th 2014 as a Christmas gift and finally got an email telling me that it had been shipped on Dec. 30th. Today is Jan. 7th, 2015 and still no DVD.
Avoid this site. Poor service and poor contact.
Your right what a waste of time. It's near impossible to sell on this site and the advertising programs are a ponzie skeem.
This website is not really for sellers, even though is says it is, and that is the scammy part. HOWERVER, the shipping and prices are amazing af, but it depends on the seller.
