If you can't afford their website...go to another one you cheap skates!!! You think you are the first person to get scammed by a website on the internet? A website can scam you! A gold digger can! You think there aren't gold diggers on free websites? Have you never bothered to look at their website and seen the addresses listed all over the world?
I worked in collections for many years when I was younger. If you are going to threaten lawsuits you better back it up buddy...otherwise it is you that is harassing people. So file your lawsuit, call their customer service department, or shut your mouth.
It is a real shame all you smack talkers on this site like to blog about what is clearly you getting rejected by some hottie abroad. It is ok mate...I am sure there is a chupacabra running around that will love ya.

It takes effort!
I've been to Ukraine 4 times in the last 3 years to meet women from dating sites. Ukrainedate.com was my choice of site and I met 1 woman from Anastasiadate.com. I've met probably a total of 12 women, and of them only 1 was a scammer/gold digger. Ukrainian police was more of the trouble then the women I met on the computer. But 20 bucks, they leave you alone.
I want to say building a relationship with any woman online from Russia and Ukraine, it takes effort, homework, and intuition, and money (not money to buy gifts, but travel expenses and lodging).
My experience on Anastasiadate.com is that 80% of the women are false. They are paid workers for the company and have no intentions of falling in love with you. It's their job to keep you paying for communication.
Now once you filter out all of the false profiles. I tel lyou how you can do that. 1. Some women have Webcam (costly) but seeing them is a sure way you know you are talking to a real woman. and 2. VK.COM is an excellent tool to search the women by Name, birthday, and city. then you can match their photos..and some you'll be able to see them in their natural appearance.
Once you found a legit woman, then the rest is on you. I had a great time meeting the woman I've been communicating with from Anastasiadate.com for about 4 months and we had so much fun together. Despite marriage didn't work out, we are good friends.
There is no Ukrainian woman or Russian for that matter that's going to bow down and worship you just because you're from the west, not even if you have millions. CHANCES are, if you're having a tough time getting dates with American women, then you'll have the same problem in Russia and Ukraine. I have been on Anastasia for a few months now. Sure it cost a lot but, I can't tell who is for real or who is not. Although the woman I have connected with the best and communicated the most with is real and on VK. Just because they are not on VK doesn't mean they are not for real.
A good site for serious men may be Elena's Models. The cost is much less and Elena has the best international dating advice around. I don't know about 80% of the women on Anastasia are false. I would think that it is much less and that most are real looking for sincere love. Either way use your best judgement when doing anything on the internet.

Maybe AnastasiaDate should have a different business model if they truely want to be thught of as legit. For example... dating sites in the US charge a monthly fee for beinf able to communicate. eHarmony.com charges about $30/month, The following sites charge about the same: ChristianMingle.com & Match.com, also DeafSingles.com charges $15 per month. You can chat and send letters all you want if you have paid your monthly membership. OnAnastasiaDate.com, you can not even send the lady ANY contact information. They block it out and so it never gets there. I have had a lady want to send me her email and get mine. We could not do it because it was scrambled in transmission. Hmmmmm....

Yes, you are right when you say that in America it is very difficult to find a good and attractive woman. The real good ones get chosen very quickly. I have been to the Ukraine many times and I see the contrast and the differences between their girls and ours. Not much to compare! You all make some good points. I was married for 14 years to a beautiful Russian woman I met on a Russian dating site. There was no doubt that her main motivation was to get out of Russian and give her children an opportunity at a better life. She and I are basically decent people and both gave the marriage an honest try, but eventually her Russian culture caught up with her and she engaged in financial infidelity, serial lying and emotional cheating if not actual cheating. I'm from the West (dual South African & Australia citizen) and once visited Kiev on business. There was a "social" at the hotel where I was staying, and out of curiosity I wandered in. Most of the men were older and from either the US or Canada. Most behaved politely, but the difference in age between the men and the Ukrainian girls who were present was striking - in some cases as much as 25 years.
I believe that this is the greatest contributor to the disaster that often follows, but the difference in culture should not be ignored either. My grandparents were from the ex Soviet Union and I was consequently exposed to Russian culture. What most American men don't understand is that it is significantly different from what they know.
To view it from the perspective of the girls, of course they're doing it to improve their lives and that of their children. Who can possibly blame them, and to even suggest that they're "in it for the money" is an insult to anyone's intelligence. Life is hard in Ukraine, and if a girl is able to meet someone for whom she has at least some fondness, naturally she's going to be attracted by the possibilities. So would anybody in similar circumstances.
I don't like to generalize but Russian girls do have many positive qualities. And finally, there's a golden rule which cuts across all of humanity, irrespective of cultural divides, and that is that if you treat a girl well, the chances are she'll treat you the same way. But being nice is a full time job - you've got to work at it every day.
All I can say is that the women on these sites are cold, calculating *****es who care nothing about you. You are just talkinhg to aq bunch of professional photographs sold to the dating site. You are really talking to an Anastasia employee who may even be a man! One in a thouisand men who visit the Ukraine actuall ends up married. And that's where your real problems begin! It cost you thousands of dollars just to sponsor a "bride." and once they get their citizenship here, they leave you for a younger man, or take all your life savings with them. You are 100% correct!!!!! I have almost 2000 letters from women on my profile right now. In my profile I mentioned that when a woman writes to me she MUST include the codeword that I have written in my profile. NOT EVEN ONE mentioned my codeword. It is a good thing thing that the letters are free now. And ANASTASIA customer service please don't reply to my comment. These letters are sent out by computer-bot and I can prove it.

After 3 months of correspondence, I decided to make a trip to Ukraine (she lived in Nikolaev) to meet her.
When I arrived at the airport, the agency helped me, to bring me to my hotel and translate anything usefull (like the lines of bus, or the name of important street in the city). Tomorrow morning, I finally met the girl with who I corresponded since 3 months, and it was really her. Since the beginning I thought was she's real because, on the chat she wrote a good level of french language and when she not know a word, she wrote in English.
I stayed 3 weeks during my first trip, and we fall in love during the trip. During one year and half, we lived a distance love, and in February of 2007, she came in France for live together. Now, we are always together, but not married (she don't want), and I think really it's the woman of my life. I'm thirty years old, her also, and we have a beautiful love relationship.
Surely there are scammers on this site , but there are also real ladies, who search for love and serious relation with foreign man. The most inconvenient about Anastasia date, is that the agency check all, and it's inevitable to pass by them, for call, send flowers, or meet the girls, but finally I don't regret it.

OK, like any form of dating, the bar to international dating and yes even match there good ones and bad ones, trust I met them on Lave life to my local pub. just as the website said take your time and use common sense.

It is interesting... For a website such as Anastasia that want work with people to arrange a real life long relationship, why they have so many rules against communication... If it is real love... You can always find a way to communicate on phone without the agency. And if Anastasia truly wanted people to have real relationships, they would not put so many restrictions on the girls, about belonging to other publice forums and sites... Anastasia traps the girls into only being there. It is truly a cash cow... Less then 1% of the women on Anastasia are genuine with their emotions. And even when they find real love the site spies on the girls, and tells them that if they place photos on public sites such as VK, FB etc... with a man, that they will be fined $500. Anastasia makes it nearly impossible for a girl to easily leave the site. And even after the girl leaves, if her photos are very beautiful, they pay a girl to chat, using those photos. Actually it isn't Anastasia that pays them. It is the local recruiting agencies contracted by Anastasia that pays the girls. Anastasia is very smart in this case. They keep everything at arms lenght, so that no Civil Law Suits can be brought against them. Yes, there is a 1% chance of meeting a genuine girl there. Also it is not only the girls that are bad... Many of the men on this site are scum bags... You should see their behaviour when they visit. I live here... And I often witness how many of these men act... So both girls and men on this site can be bad. Agreed. There is also the chance that you will be the 1% that get lucky... But the odds are better in the casino. Or getting struk by lightening.
It's true there are many scammers, but from the first letter you can notice if it's a scammer or not. If a girl write you and don't speak about your profile, I think it's not good, you can leave and pass at the next.
Maybe also, I'm chance to be french and there are not many girls who speak french language on this site (I met only one), and I was sure not used a translator. The french langauge has very specific grammar , and with a translator(like google) don't make sense. The time that I stayed, in this site I met only 2 girls, and was 2 real girls who wanted to meet a real love. After I made of choice between the two , but in any case when you enter at this type of dating site, you must choose the right profile, and reflect before answer.With the call service, you can ask at your lady his phone number, and she can to give you, there are no restrictions. In the same case, if you send her flowers, you can write in your card your private e-mail it's authorized also. There are possibilities to get round the site. With regard to erase the profile, it's true I had problems, and the site made many time before erase the profile of my girlfriend and mine.
Actually it's possible to meet with them without arranging the meeting directly through the agency (except for the mails involved, of course). I've met three from the site this way, only once was an interpreter also present because the girl I met spoke no English at all - the other two both speaks decent English (and, I've started learning Russian myself).
Except for the emails involved, we simply agreed on a location and time to meet, and this went well.
I've had my doubts about the site as well - most of the chat requests are definitely generated by the server, I happened to see a "{name}" variable entry instead of my name today - I know how those things works since I program dynamic web sites myself... having said that, I do believe that at least one of the girls I've met (the one I'm focusing on now), has genuine motives. I have been on these sites for over 10 years. I did find a young woman and married her from another site. She could never adjust to this culture and had many problems. When she first arrived she was an amazing partner. It was down hill after that and divorce. We met on a site that was honest.
Anastasiadate is a scam. Period.First, they are the most expensive. Second their pictures are far better looking than the women. Third they promote chat which grows to be a big expense. I told one of the girls I did not like chat. That I would call. She was not responsive except to chat. Today the proof was irrefutable. I have been writing to a girl on the site. This is obviously a form letter and she never saw it. I wrote to another woman that said she had a friend whose mother has cancer. I work in the field in advanced methods curing cancer in a week. The next letter I asked what she had done with the information. No response on that issue. Obviously, whose every turn it was to write the letter never read the earlier one.
These sites are great to look at beautiful pictures of woman. When I first began this journey I would send a photographer in the area. They would check the passport and take a picture. It was not unusual to find the person I dealt with was not the same. I reported to Anastasia that a woman had asked for money, a violation of their rules. Nothing was done. Since I have been on the site for 10 years I have seen the same pictures used over the ten years.
One other point, I have dated local Russian woman and have friends marry them. In every case they have been found to be cold and unfeeling. I suggest you contact your attorney general in regard to this site.
Yes ... beware. I have dated many Russian and Ukrainian women ... beautiful but once you get to know them many are broken inside. I went on 3 AnastasiaDate socials and they were all absolutely terrible - for the men and the women. First, no self-respecting woman goes to the socials. The socials are attended by the less attractive, less desired girls, professional daters looking for a sucker for free dinners and gifts, and "working" girls. AnastasiaDate is a fantasy site for chatting, letter-writing and the extremely expensive CamShare product. The tours are poorly run with the men left to fend for themselves and become victim to all types of dating scams (typical one being insincere girls going out on dates to get a good meal at a restaurant they could never go to with their friends). The interpreters prolong dates to make more money, and some agencies even allow the interpreter and girl split the $20/hr. interpreter fee because the agency makes its money from the girls' chats and letters. The only solution is to go over there with a reputable company and use your own interpreter. Check out Dream Connections as a good example.

I was briefly married to a translator who worked for A Foreign Affair. I met her on another site. We emailed almost daily for about 1 year and talked on the phone regularly. I met her in Kiev for 10 days.
We got married and almost 3 years ot the day (time needed to get citizenship) she left to never be seen again. She was remarried within days of the final divorce. All of her friends were divorced as well that came to the US earlier. Rest assured, thngs are not that bad there in their country.
She once told me how the women really feel about the men who go on the socials etc.... Their comments were not positive, trust me. They want hot, rich guys! 90 % are scamms and you spend thousands in the meantime. They can have any man they wish based on their looks, why would they seek a 41 year old divorced male who is not rich or not a model.
Although I didn't lose a lot of money, I was selected by a Olga,ID 1692749, who expressed an intense interest in me, without seeing my picture, or knowing much about me. After reviewing some experiences about AnastasiaDate.com left by older men, who were scammed, I questioned Olga via emailing her about questions I had about the dating service. Not only did she evade my questions, and no replies were ever received thereafter, but I got to realize that AnastasiaDate.com has translators at work, who not only translate, but who are in a position to alter your message to their delight, including omitting your questions altogether. Censorship is a reality with this service. Proceed at your own peril. Save your emotions from ruins, and run for the mountains quickly as your legs can carry you. And with credits still in my account, they indicate a no-refund policy. The fees are split 50% with the woman, the interpreter must be selected by AnastasiaDate.com, or else some violence may come unexpectedly. I am grateful I woke up to realize all appeared to be too good. Even the restaurant, the apartment are selected at high fees by this service. Must I say more! Wake up Americans, this is a real business- to take your money, and to humiliate you for being a simpleton.

Latest update on Anastasisa: I wrote a letter to their customer service questioning why I was receiving 10-20 letters a day from much younger women. The site admitted that these letters were computer generated from women who met a certain profile that I was looking for. I was further advised that it was up to me to contact them to see if any were actually interested. Translation: when you get a "letter" out of the blue from a woman on Anastasia, question whether she has actually written to you, or you are just receiving a computer generated letter who matches the profile of a woman that you are looking for.
I'm sure, everyone notices, when you reciecve their fist letter, your name is capitalized. Dear JOHN. I too, have recieved letters thanking me for sending one when I never did! All kinds of other small things which throw up the red flags!!

A SCAM- I KNOW FROM EXPERIENCE
Here are my thoughts...I recently went to Ukraine for a 3 city tour where we had a Social in each city.In Nikolaev I encountered two girls,one spoke english.She offered to be the interpreter for her friend and me.She was not an official interpreter,but wanted to have me pay $15.00 per hour for her service.When I told her I would only use a legitimate interpreter she got pissed off and they both left.That was a scam I avoided.My next Social in Kherson I met Julia and her interpreter(who was not authorized as official) but I could not tell if she was,so I ended up spending one full day with them.Again it was $15.00 per hour plus meals,cab fares,etc.I paid for everything!After that day Julia was liking me so I paid for her and that interpreter to travel to Odessa for 2 days...yes,I paid for their apartment while I stayed in a hotel.After returning home I wanted to skype Julia,but she supposedly had no computer so hesitantly I sent money so she could get one.Yes,you guessed it.I never heard back from either one.They got my money and it was goodbye.
Bottom line here is alot of scammers show up for a great time that they could never afford otherwise and we western men get hurt.There are some legitimate ladies there,but they are few and you need to be mindful.Pay close attention.Yes,I had fun but there was never a love interest and as of now none of the 40 guys I went with ever got an engagement.Now that is bad!

Wow "Burned" - sorry to hear about your experience. I've been to Ukraine twice myself - never met one person I had corresponded with. It's a shame that we Westerners are so "sad" - I guess for lack of a better word (myself included) that we'll actually believe in this scam. For those who pursue this, please do your research as there are some legit agencies and find some good "russian women discussion" boards to benefit from other's experiences. Trust me, you could literally save thousands of dollars just by doing a bit of forum searching and corresponding with those who have had the experience. Good luck to all.
I have visited 5 times, and met over 35 ladies. This is not a scam. Individuals may choose not to meet with you. Overall, the ladies are like you, they have likes and dislikes. Most of the dating sites are at least 80% scam ... you have to sort through a lot of crap to find the 20% good girls. The average wage there is about $300 a month so being a chat hostess is a good job especially if you have a kid and need flexible work. It is interesting some of the dating sites were former brothels ... but they found the could make more money with online dating.

from my experience is that this site does incentivate women to chat and there are lot of players out there...however there are some real good ones whos are just trying to have a better life and find love...one tip to se if shes real interested in you ask her adress home its allowed to be given and then you can write to her home adress and vice versa....also don't chat up because you will spend a fortune...best way is to get their home adress and then send a letter in their language translated in google for free and include your mobile number...if shes real trust me she will get back to you....but i must say you have to do your homework because most of them just are players.

you can get their phone number. tne agency will block it if you send it all together but they can send it by, one digit at a time with each message.

Cmon how much experience could you have possibly attained and now you're giving to people advice that they are genuinely trying to obtain.

Just be smart.

John. You are 100% correct. I have visited Ukraine many times over the last 5 years. & have used different dating sites. I would say Anastasia is the biggest scam site of them all. The girls on camera ARE PAID to chat & write letters. If they do not reply to your letter they loose cash. (Its a fact) The scammer i mentioned earlier Valeria Novitskaya was on RLM as well as many other sites & when they found out she was a scammer, My cash was refunded no questions asked & i got a letter of apology & free credits.& her profile was removed. When i informed Anastasia about her activities & tried to send proof they did not give a f... & she is still there which should prove to any 1 its a scam site full stop.
Valeria ripped me off ... I had her kicked off RLM aka HRB. I visited her twice a year ago November then in December of 2011. She is the best liar you will ever meet. Stay away from her at all costs and any agency that lets her work there. She is on at least 20 sites ... but only active on a few. Back then she was not on any scam sites ... I reported her first I am glad others have chimed in ... so dumb asses like me can avoid being taken advantage of by this beautiful ***** ... the best liar ever. I have never met anyone as good as her ... I guess it is her job. Anastasia is a well know rip off sight avoid. My rule learn from painful experience is avoid all pay by message dating sites.
