soothing gloves
Helped my knee with a torn meniscus
I am quite the skeptic, but thought I would go ahead and try theTommi Copper knee sleeve to see if it would relieve the pain and swelling in my knee caused from a meniscus tear. After several days of wearing the knee sleeve, swelling reduced significant'tly, and my knee pain was lessoned by 50%. So far, I'm happy with the product...it's better than any other knee support I have used in the past. It's also very comfortable. My only complaint is that the plastic band that holds the sleeve up does cause some redness on my leg.
Ordering the product on Tommi Copper's Website was easy, and delivery was fast. I just ordered an ankle sleeve for my husband today, and I'll repost additional comments after he receives his.
I wouldn't write a positive review unless I thought a product deserved one. Tommi Copper certainly deserves a thumbs up!
Poor workmanship
Appears many Tommi Copper clients have had problems with the stitching and assembly work on some products. Remember Hong Kong Suits ! These products are made overseas and don't have good quality control review prior to shipping product. Tommi should correct this problem before it causes clients not to repurchase. Maybe Tommi will consider making their products in America using American workers, materials and craftmanship. If quality control doesn't improve some American entrepreneur will show you how to do it right. Most people who purchase your products are looking for relief from injury, cronic health conditions or rehabbing. They don't need to be trying to correct your production and quality control problems.

Ive had numerous back surgeries, 2 spinal fusions. torn rotator cuffs and arthritis both shoulders. Constant, intractable pain. I'll try anything for ANY relief. The shirts are surprisingly comfortable. They make my shoulder pain feel somwhat better with a definite improvement in mobility of both arms. no benefit for back pain- but they are good imo for shoulder problems.
Well made, easily washable, comfortable. I like them. not a cure- but my right shoulder feels like it doesnt want to dislocate. YMMV

Did u find a cheaper product eventually. I suffer alot from tendonitis in my arms particularly. Any comments you share would be most helpful.

Many years of knee pains. And over 3 surgeries. With 2 pending. I'm not pain free totally. But extremely better and more flexible. Even playing sports again. It's great. It's not a miracle worker as the pains came back when I stopped wearing them.

I am a retired Marine Gunny, I am 50 years old with two combat tours in Iraq. I had my first right knee injury in 1979, 1980 I had it drained in boot camp, 1981 I had a jeep accident on Camp Pendleton CA and tore the ligaments in my left knee. Since then I have had five knee surgeries, four on my right knee and one on my left knee. The Right knee has cadavers' ligaments and my last surgery I had a complete right knee replacement. When I saw an info commercial and a lady crying and saying " thank you, and that she had lived with pain for most of her life" I had to try them. I have had them for three days with virtually no pain. I have no cartilage left in my left knee so I still have a little pain from the bone on bone contact but nothing compared to how it used to feel. My right knee feels great, can't wait to go skiing soon. Nothing is 100% but by far this is better than the thousand dollar braces and hundreds of dollars invested in shoes. Not to include the Marine Candy (Motrin). I'm a believer. If Tommie Copper reads this please contact me at ([email protected]) if you're legit then I'll give you my phone number. I'm not an actor but I'll take money if they want to pay me :-) As for the red lines the rubber may leave at the top of the strap, just move the strap up and down throughout the day or night. I didn't know where to pu the stars but it is five stars from me on this peoduct just bought two knee straps for my mother which is 75 and I plan on buying some for my grandmother which is 95.

Kaylee, Read my Jan 12 review. I have everything you described and been though all but the product didn't help me but don't stop from trying out. You have to try out for yourself. It seems that everyone is different. I also did not have bad customer service. As soon as they received my products, they returned my money (I had no shipping cost deduction as it was free shipping) Good luck!

They don't stand behind anything. I was in so much pain due to a medical condition that I was willing and have tried many things. I read all the reviews here and other places, positive and negative - and decided to try it anyway... UNTIL... The tommiecopper.tv site lets you click on a product, but it doesn't put it in a cart. I went to the tommiecopper.com website where they have more coupons etc. I selected several products and then entered the coupon to save $24 on three shirts. That was fine. Then tried to put in the "free shipping" that you are supposed to get for ordering two or more products - which I had, and not just the shirts. It wouldn't take it or give free shipping. I called the number, and the woman with the robotic voice reading from the script in front of her said she can't take any coupon at all. Gave me a number to call for "customer relations". That number... took me right back to where I started. Hit the button in the phone announcement to "get free shipping with two or more products ordered" the representative told me I could only use one coupon. I said the shipping wasn't supposed to be a coupon. I asked if it made sense to lose an order of about $150 over a $5.83 shipping fee and get bad reviews. He didn't even understand, so gave me to his supervisor "Ed". Ed just explained the same thing. I asked again if it made sense to lose my order of almost $150 and probably more not only from me, but from people that see reviews, instead of just giving the $5.83 shipping. He said he was sorry, but I had to do what I had to do and he couldn't offer the coupon unless I wanted to use that instead of the $24 off of the shirts which would be equally stupid.
Now I know there will be those on hear that will say just try the product and "when it works, then don't worry about the poor customer service or paying for the shipping." I have actually done that for some products. However, look at it the other way, especially with so many saying the same thing. If they are going to give up $150 to save $5.83, it doesn't say much about their faith in their product. Take it further. If there were 10 people in a day who would have ordered the same amount, that would be losing $1,500 to save $58.30. If there are 10 people every day for 30 days that would be giving up $4,500 to save roughly $120. If there were 10 people every day for a whole year that would be almost $55,000 each and every year they would give up rather then spend about $1,500 in shipping. Now they still would have received their handling fee which is additional to the product and on my order would have been $4.50 and with the cost of the product - it certainly doesn't cost $4.50 to "handle it" and put it on the mail truck. The post office will even pick up for free - since you are paying the shipping. So the extra charge alone would pretty much take care of the full shipping which they couldn't give up! That was just me, and I am sure there a lot more than 10 people/day, and while some probably spend less than I would have, there are probably equally more who would have spent more. The numbers become staggering and a company that is willing to lose that much... likely won't be around for long - especially if anyone reads these posts and makes the same decision. Think about the cost of the infomercials alone- including hiring Mr. BS who has MS, and the overhead, and everything else and ask how they can afford to give that much up daily... Just think about it with an open mind for a few seconds and you will get the picture. On the other side of the picture, would be the "Disney way" of customer service where people are empowered to solve problems within reason. They bring in millions every day, and I can speak from experience to the lengths they will go to try and resolve a problem. I know it works also, because I used to do the same in my business. Anyone could resolve a problem up to a point however they had to - including giving things away, just to make the person happy because I would in the end gain far more from doing that. I can promise that I had many people come to me, because they heard about how fair I had been. Why would anyone company be willing to take so many negative comments? Watch Shark Tank sometime and see what the actual cost of the products are; not this specifically, but any product, and you would know that Tommiecopper could easily honor their free shipping... so as they say on Shark Tank: " For that reason, I'm out" and I hope you will be too!

Effect on hip prosthesis
I am waiting for my shorts to arrive,but am wondering if anyone with hip or knee prosthesis have used these Tommie copper products.
Do they in any way adversely affect the hip or knee replacements?

I have a knee replacement and work as a mechanic and it help the pain . Also ice 2 or 3 times a day.
Elbow sleeve
I had tennis elbow surgery in July 2012. I have been using the elbow sleeve for 2 months now and I feel very little relief when wearing this product. I read the reviews before my purchase but I bought it any way. I have no intention of returning the sleeve since it keeps my arm warm when I am working in the cold. I would not recommend this product.
Just received
Purchased the leggings/tights and also a men's t-shirt. I bought the men's shirt b/c i didn't like the v-neck only style they had for women. I was able to place the order easily online and it arrived in less than 2 weeks. Wearing them for the first time tonight..... i will update after I am able to decide if they help or not.
Purchased them as a desperate attempt to help with back pain.
The actual product (fabric, feel) is good which is why i gave it a 4 star. I will post a new one and change based on if it actually helps or not with the pain
