Obtaining a concealed certificate
US Concealed Online is committed to providing this training to all users at no charge.
They make it sound like it's all free. After a 30 minute video and a 10 question test ( I can't see anyone not scoring 10 out of 10, pretty easy test) they have a timer counting down from 10 minutes (which at the end starts over) then it says "Your 50% OFF New Student Discount Has been Applied. Today Only Your Certificate is only $65. (Normal Price $135 Your price Today $65)"
Here is their claim:
US Concealed Online provides online training and documentation required to obtain your concealed carry license from the State of Virginia. You must be 21 years or older to use this site. The US Concealed Online Certificate of Completion is not a license or permit to carry a concealed weapon in any state, it is a certification of competency with a handgun. To obtain a permit to carry, you must apply to the Virginia State Police and pay any applicable fees and satisfy all requirements to be issued a Virginia concealed handgun license. You understand that it is YOUR exclusive responsibility to determine whether you are authorized to carry a concealed weapon in your city, state or other location.
It's a scam. The certificate only proves you passed an online course for the State of Virginia. If you want a concealed carry permit for Virginia, you will still need to complete the qualifications for Virginia. This company has an F rating with BBB. SCAM! SCAM!! SCAM!!!
The Constitution of The United States of America gives me the right to carry and i hope to hell it will help me if i ever get arrested for carrying a weapon. I have been carrying for about 60 year sand i don't plan on changing now.
