I looked at their site trying to find a template, and without my permission they started billing my credit card $24.95 a month. Total bait and switch.

MY PERFECT RESUME = MY PERFECT SCAM
October 21, 2018

The way THEY work is simple:

* They think You The People are stupid.

* Therefore, they offer you a "free" trial, or ask for a nominal fee, say $1.95. Of course they'll need your credit card number, or your bank account number.

* You need a job, so you need a resume. You give them your credit info. They think you gave it to them because you are stupid.

* What they don't know is that you gave it to them because You The People are essentially good and therefore trusting.

* And then, they took advantage of your trust. Despite the fact that you cancelled your subscription well within the 30 day "trial period", they continued charging you monthly, $24.95 or $34.95 etc... This went on for some time, accumulating hundreds - and for some of you thousands - of dollars in fraudulent charges.

* The result? Some criminal fat cats on a beach somewhere living high on the hog, kicking back and having a good chuckle while shoveling caviar and guzzling champagne - that YOU paid for!

* People, it's time to break out the pitchforks and fire up the torches (legally speaking, of course)!

Did this happen to you, too? It happened to me (I have all the emails to prove it), and from what I've seen online I'm sure it has happened to many, many other victims. My Perfect Resume is actually The Perfect Scam and deserves the Mother of all Class-Action Suits. People, it's time to rise up and shine the light of truth on these cockroaches.

Let's all take action and join forces. Send your story, along with any documentation, emails or other evidence you may have to [email protected]. We will try to respond in a timely fashion, but please be patient; we're expecting thousands - possibly millions - of responses.

IMPORTANT: Please make this go VIRAL. In order for the Power of the People to be felt, we must reach as many people as possible. Let these criminals know that We The People won't take it anymore. Please post this on every single social media source you can think of, and forward to friends, family and acquaintances. TOGETHER we can see justice served!

This company's tactics are disgusting and they prey on unemployed people to make a quick buck. I thought I was paying a once-off payment of $2.95 for my resume, but you're actually signing up for a 14 day subscription that auto renews for $34.95 at the end of the two weeks. The whole website is very misleading, and makes it look like you're only paying $2.95. It's only mentioned in the fine print of the welcome email. Even more confusingly, the website has ads for 'one month free' subscriptions. Their response to me was that I knew what I was signing up for, when I really didn't, I thought I was making a once-off payment and they have tricked me into a subscription. Avoid using this service at ALL COSTS.

Beware .

$34.95 off our credit card for months for one resume. Just crazy. So many people saying they cancelled but myperfect resume says they didnt. Why would anyone need an on going 34.95 a month to make a resume. Shady shady shady . I believe they get employees to leave good reviews .

Had to cancel my credit card.
August 18, 2018
This is by far one of the worst companies I have had to deal with. I signed up for their 14-day free trial and called to cancel on the 12th day. A month later, they charged me $24.95. When I called up again to find out why it wasn't cancelled, they told me there were "no notes in the system." I told them again to cancel it. A few months went by before I noticed they kept charging me the $24.95. I told them I wanted a refund because I had already called twice to cancel it. They told me they wouldn't because I didn't get a confirmation number. I had them cancel it again, and they finally emailed me the confirmation number. Eight months later, after fighting with them to stop charging my account, I had to cancel my credit card. They still refuse to refund me, even with the confirmation number. Research carefully before you sign up for them. I should have because I see others are having the same problem.

Scam
March 28, 2018
I made a resume and found out after the fact I had to pay to download it. After paying the $3 the site locked up and no matter how many times I reloaded the page or used a different computer it would not let download, email, or print the resume. It will also charge me $35 monthly for the service of holding onto my 60KB resume file. This site is extremely shady and I would avoid it at all costs.

My Perfect Resume Scam
August 27, 2016
I did an online resume and was charged 2.99 if I wanted to download it. I did and never received any receipt, but did get my resume. I have now discovered that they have been charging me 34.99 a month since then. They are intentionally unclear in the one time purchase with the intent of stealing monthly charges from people and seeing how long before it's noticed.
