Terrible company
I purchased 3 wigs from this company. Two of the wigs were not very good quality and so much hair falls out that I threw them away. The third wig I never received. I did not read all the hoops you must jump through to return and receive money back from this company. I did not have all the information and barcodes they requested.
I even tried to get satisfaction from my credit card company but because I did not have all the info light in the box requested I could not get my money back. I am not savvy to all the tricks they required to return. They said I would have to mail back to China or take a percentage of what I paid. None of this was doable.
It really fries me that I have paid for a wig that was never received. PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!

I have been a loyal customer for some time now but I having serious doubts now. For one thing, their pricing on shipping materials is something out of a horror movie. You pay almost as much for shipping as you do for the order. For example; I was going to order items priced at $83 and the shipping and handling can to $63. This was on 9 items (cycling shirts); That is #7 more for each shirt. Come on, get real. This Co offers you rewards that are a joke. The time it rakes to get the items is like waiting for X-mas to come in July.
Trying to get in touch with them and get a straight answer. is like waiting at the Dr's office. You never get a good answer, just passing you on as not a very important person. Trying to get something returned is a complete nightmare.
The cost and red tape to send an item back is more trouble than it is worth and they know this. They offer you some mere token offering that you give to someone you know. I wanted to purchase their flash goods, but when you factor in the crazy rate of delivery; you want to ask yourself; is it really worth the time, effort, and extra money?

I mean... based on your review date it's right around the lunar new year (which Chinese ppl take v seriously like Christmas except they celebrate for about 2 weeks). This criticism alone seems unsubstantiated.

HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE.
ALL sizing about 1.5 sizes smaller than true American sizing.
Now, they don't want to accept a return. DO. NOT. ORDER. FROM. THIS. COMPANY.

Asian sizing is smaller than American sizing so do your research??
'true american size' you should know its not an american company, its a chinese company. so yes, do your research before being a karen.
Unfortunately, my experience with Light in the Box has been poor. Cheaply made products and as stated above - do not order custom made as they will not accept returns for any reason. My reason was poorly made wedding dress - a very expensive lesson to learn. They advised me that the item was as pictured? Did not address the quality of the items which was supposed to be secured with thin ribbon like straps which would not hold the dress up. Very disappointing!

I placed an clothing order.......all poor quality and not true to sizing. Paid the expensive postage to return it ALL, still have not received a refund!!!

I have had the most exhausting experience with lightinthebox and am not ordering again from this site.
I ordered a dress for my cousins wedding- and I ordered it 6 weeks before the weeding to give it enough time to arrive it case there were any delays.
I receive n email a few days later saying that the color I wanted the dress in was out fo stock, so I changed the color of the dress and receive a confirmation that the color I changed to was in stock.
I then receive another emails saying that my measurements weren't correct. So to avoid any further delays I settle for a size 8.
This whole process caused me two weeks of delays, but I am reassured that my dress is being done and will arrive well before my wedding.
Another week later- I receive an automated message saying that my dress is "Out of stock for an indefinite period of time" and that the amount of 166 gbp (dress amount 87 gbp) will be refunded to my account.
-4 minutes later- I receive the same automated message with the amount changed to 38 gbp!!!!!! Now I am still waiting for a reply from their "Customer services" asking for an explanation and what the amount I will be refunded be.
What is going on.
Very very -very- dissatisfied with this website and will be leaving the worst reviews possible wherever I can.
Thanks to everyone for the reviews there is no way anyone should order from this company!
I ABSOLUTELY AGREE! There is no operation's policy, apart from defrauding the customer and selling goods that are substandard. Returning items is an obstructive process and you will lose money on your purchase. They do not give you a full refund, if in fact you get one at all. BEWARE! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS "COMPANY"!!!
