HD Vision Special Ops Sunglasses are and As Seen on TV product claimed to reduce glare and offer UV protection for the eyes.

How Does it Work?

The website state HD Vision Sunglasses have polarized lenses that don’t darken your view, but instead, enhances colors, contrasts and general visibility.

The lenses are scratch resistant, the frame is quite bendable and the material they’re made of is used in military aircraft. Thus, they should not be easily damaged.

As a result, these sunglasses are great for any type of outdoor activities, such as fishing, cycling, driving, etc.

Furthermore, their design is more than appropriate, since they follow the shape of your head perfectly. Plus, there are no sharp edges that would interfere with your sight.

Along with sunglasses, the price includes a pair of HD Vision Night Ops glasses. This pair is also convenient because it helps you during low light and it reduces the glare as well.

Cost and Price Plans:

These sunglasses cost $19.99 plus the shipping and handling expenses of $4.99. So, the full price is $24.99.

However, for that price, you will be getting two pairs of sunglasses, since HD Vision Night Ops is an obligatory part of the offer if you are ordering via the Internet.

Customer Service

Their customer service phone number is 866-304-4261, while their email is [email protected]

Contact them via the phone number or the email should you have any questions regarding your order, or the process of returning your purchased items.

In addition, they have a 30-Day Money Back Guarantee and they also have a Return Policy as well. However, this policy is only applicable to items that were ordered online or through the phone.

Online Reviews/Complaints

Most of the online reviewers confirm the good aspects of the glasses, which are the clear vision and reduced glare. However, they have a problem with the fixed shape.

In other words, although they see the snug fit as a good feature for different activities, they believe that not all the customers will be thrilled about the insect-eyed shape of these glasses.

Thus, they would rather go to their local store and pick up a model that is more suitable for their face, instead.

On a related note, the very shape is what makes them break quickly. Meaning, in order for them to be bendable, they are made of soft material.

That is why some buyers reported that their pair wasn’t able to withstand the heat in their car, for example.  In order to fit every face type, the handles seem to be easily loosened after a short period of usage.

Competitors and Alternatives

There is a number of similar products on the market that are possible alternatives for the HD Vision Special Ops Sunglasses.

Firstly, there is the Ultrax Clear View Vision UV Protection Wraparounds Driving Glasses, which comes in two colors for daylight and night.

However, these are bought separately but are more affordable. On the other hand, the shapes are a bit more complicated to compare. Special Ops fits any face type, but this Ultrax model can be worn over your prescription glasses. So, in this respect, it’s a tie.

Moreover, for a bit pricier alternative, there is the Polarized X7 Tactical Shatterproof USA Military Goggles. However, they come with a number of accessories and even four sets of different lenses. So, this alone justifies the price.

Lastly and quite more expensive is the Burner Polarized. In fact, even at first glance, it is already clear why they cost so much. Although they don’t have interchangeable lenses, their frames are obviously more resilient to damage.

Where to Buy?

The only and the easiest way to buy the HD Vision Special Ops is to order them via phone or the Internet at www.hdspecialops.com.

The Bottom Line

HD Vision Special Ops boasts maximum durability and enhancement of vision – clearer picture at any time of day or night.

Although they might not be the most resilient brand, they pretty much fulfill their promise in the vision department.

So, if you are on a limited budget but you need sunglasses for your outdoor activities, these are definitely worth looking into.

Bad Customer Service

My Mother ordered 2 pairs of these as gifts. Never received them. Even though she called this number , 1-800-592-1383 and a non English speaking person told her, they are in your mail box. Mom went to check her mail box. Of course there were no sun glasses in there. Hopefully she can stop payment on these. If it's not too late.
