Zungle Sunglasses Reviews
About Zungle Sunglasses
Zungle Sunglasses, found online at ZungleInc.com, are a new brand of sunglasses which also offer customers built-in bone conduction speakers, so they have sunglasses and headphones all in one.
How Does It Work?
According to their website, the goal of Zungle Sunglasses is to provide people with a high quality sunglass and a high quality bone conduction headphone set all in a single item, which they say makes them both convenient and safe.
As most people who wear headphones are aware, when you place earbuds into your ears or noise blocking headphones over your ears, you are blocking out all outside noise, which is good for the sound quality of your music or audiobook, but not necessarily the safest plan when dealing with traffic, construction, or other possible hazards.
Bone conduction headphones do not block your eardrum and inner ear. Instead, the sunglass stems which rest on the top of your ears transfer sound to your ears through vibrations on the bone, which is simply another way your ears interpret sound.
Their website promises that Zungle Sunglasses will provide superior sound quality, comparable to standard earphones, and their sunglasses also provide a noise cancelling microphone that lets you make and answer phone calls. Finally, it also offers a touchpad on the right side of the glasses where customers will be able to control their playlist.
Since this product works directly with Bluetooth 4.1 versions and higher, their website says that they are able to work with all iOS, Android, and Windows smartphones.
Zungle Sunglasses are not actually available for sale on the market at this time. Instead, customers have the ability to pre-order a pair of their sunglasses for $119, which is a discount off the eventual retail price of $150. Customers can also choose to purchase additional sets of lenses in different colors for just $17.99.
Because this product is not yet available for sale on the market, it does not appear that their website has a fully fleshed out Refund Policy at this time, especially when it comes to refunds regarding pre-orders. They do mention in their Terms and Conditions that they will not issue refunds until the product is physically back in their possession, and that ultimately all refunds will be issued at the discretion of the company.
If you are concerned about possible receiving a refund of your pre-order charges, you will need to contact their Customer Service team directly to see what kinds of policies, if any, they have in place.
Customer Service Contact Info
Customers who would like to contact Customer Service with any questions, concerns, or complaints can do so by submitting them directly to their website through their Contact Us link.
Unfortunately because these sunglasses are not actually available to customers at this time, there are no available customer reviews to help people determine whether or not this is a product that they will want to invest in.
That being said, bone in conduction headphones and headphones built into sunglasses are both existing technology that has already been successful on the market, though most people still believe the sound quality of bone conduction headphones to be lacking when compared to good quality earbuds or headphones. However, if you are someone who likes the convenience of these combined products or that likes the extra safety of not having your ears completely blocked, then this product might be right for you.
Competitors and Alternatives?
Bone conduction speakers and headphones are growing in popularity for a variety of reasons, including the safety aspect of being able to hear external noises while outside and the safety aspect of taking care of your eardrums. For this reason, customers will likely find other options on the market which may best meet their needs.
