Yext, found online at Yext.com, is a geomarketing company that works with both small businesses and large corporations to provide them with marketing solutions through their specialized GeoMarketing Cloud.
Geomarketing is the incorporation of geographical information into traditional marketing research methodology, including from sampling, data collection, analysis, and presentation. The more targeted a company can make their marketing efforts, generally the more successful they will be.
How Does It Work?
While the internet has provided companies with unprecedented access to the likes and interests of their target market, this information has to pulled from many different individual sources, which can be problematic and time consuming.
Yext gives companies and businesses the ability to interconnect these sources, and works like a single point of contact for all these sources, giving companies a way to easily update and collect information.
Yext does not publish any pricing chart or standard cost information. The prices of their services will be impacted by the size and needs of your specific company, though the cost has been reported by previous users as around $500 per year. Customers who are interested in more specific information can contact them directly to speak to a representative.
This website does not detail any general overarching Refund Policies. Instead, customers who are unhappy with their services or what they have received will need to contact the company directly and see what kind of recourse or assistance they can give them to fix the problem.
Customer Service Contact Info
Customers who have questions, concerns, or complaints they would like to direct to their Customer Service team can contact them by phone, at 888-444-2988, by email at [email protected], or by traditional mail at 1 Madison Ave, 5th Fl New York, NY 10010.
In general, Yext seems to have a positive reputation from previous or current users of their services as well as from independent reviewing sources.
Competitors and Alternatives?
Marketing and the tools used for targeted marketing are very important for today's businesses. There are many different companies that provide marketing solutions, depending on your specific needs and what you may be looking for.

Yext.com will tell you your business is listed wrong or not listed at all on dozens of sites and for a huge fee they will correct all this.
most of the "sites" where your business is listed wrong ( wrong location, wrong type of business etc) aren't legitimate sites any consumer would use to find you anyway. Instead most of these bogus "business listing sites" are just front for Yext to make it look like there's more misinformation about your business than actually matters.
You can manually update the legitimate sites (google, bing, facebook, Yelp) without paying Yext. The other sites you've never heard of don't matter, Yext creates those on purpose to make it look like your business has an online identity problem that can only be solved by paying Yext.com
First: Do your research! Yext has horrible business practices! Additionally, the prices for what they offer to do for you are ridiculous. If you are already paying for an assistant or have 30 minutes per day for 5 days, you can "fix your info" on search engines and online yourself. My very low rating goes to their bullying sales tactics. They will blow up your phone and then proceed to try to insult your business sense and savvy because they're so much smarter than you are. 4x phone calls per day for a week straight is desperate. Insulting business owners is unprofessional and desperate and anyone who stoops to these tactics is not someone I recommend doing business with.
