Xtrema Ceramic Cookware, found online at Xtrema.com, is a company that says their products are dedicated to safer preparation and healthier eating for their customers.

How Does Xtrema Cookware Work?

According to their website, Xtrema Ceramic Cookware manufactures high quality ceramic cookware that is designed for versatility, performance and ease of use. But more importantly, they focus on providing a safe cooking surface

Their website says that many of today’s popular cooking surfaces can actually leach unwanted flavors into food, as well as a variety of chemicals which may be dangerous to your health. Ceramic cookware, on the other hand, gives people health and tasty food that is also easy to cleanup.

Cooking with ceramic cookware does require some changes from other, non-stick cookware. For example, customers will always want to cook with some kind of oil, especially if they are cooking on high heat, and in fact not all of their cookware should be used at high heat.

But Xtrema Ceramic Cookware says that they provide customers with a vessel where they can cook, serve, and store their food all in one pot. Their cookware has been designed to go from stove top to table top, where it will keep your food warm throughout dinner, and then to refrigerator for storage when mealtime is over.

Cost/Price Plans

Since this company sells such a wide variety of products at this time, customers will need to go to their website and look at specific product pages in order to get up to date and accurate pricing. In addition, prices of products may change throughout the year depending on sales and promotions or whether new products are added.

Refund Policy

Their website does say that they offer their customers a 40 Day Return Policy for all products purchased from their website, but they do have very specific requirements and customers will need to follow them closely in order to successfully collect a refund.

First, all customers must have a Return Merchandise Authorization number before any return is accepted and approved. All non-defective items being returned must be clean, unused, and in their original packaging. Return packages must include the RMA number along with a note that includes your name, address and whether you would like an exchange, credit, or refund.

For non-defective orders, customers will be responsible for return shipping charges, and customers that do not properly clean their products before sending them back will be charged a 10% restocking fee.

Customer Service Contact Info

Customers who would like to contact their Customer Service team with any questions, concerns, or complaints can do so by phone at 888-422-1983 or by submitting them directly to the website through their Email Us link.

Reputation

Since this company sells such a variety of products, customers will be best served by looking for reviews of the specific product they are considering purchasing, as this will provide their customers with the most relevant and accurate information.

That being said, the concern about ceramic cookware is fairly well known, and it’s the fact that food tends to stick to ceramic cooking services. The Xtrema website itself discusses this very problem and says that it may be necessary to add oil throughout the cooking process to ensure that your food does not stick.

Competitors and Alternatives?

Ceramic cookware is actually very popular and there are many different brands available at this time, so customers who are hoping to find alternatives to Xtrema products should have a variety of options depending on exactly what they are looking for or what their budget might be.

Everything sticks
May 19, 2021

I purchased a set of Xtrema Cookware, and things like rice, grits, oatmeal, lentils stick to the surface. Food does seem to cook faster and the pots seem to hold heat longer.

Cleaning is a chore since food sticks to the pots, and you don't want to use abrasive scrubs on the pot. I don't necessarily like adding oil to everything and I don't use butter so I stopped using the pots to cook certain items which defeats the purpose.

As far as taste goes, because the food cooks faster it takes less time to sauté veggies and because the pot holds heat after the food simmers it does seem to taste better. If I had it to do over, I probably would have shopped around a little more for a different product.
