About Werk Job Site
The Werk Job Site, found online at SayWerk.com, is a website that says flexibility is the future of the job market, especially when it comes to women in corporate leadership positions.
How Does It Work?
According to the Werk Job Site, the current corporate leadership pipeline is broken. While women make up 50% of the entry level employees in important fields like consulting and law, the reality is that less than 5% of top leadership positions are held by women.
The reality is that when people become parents, the majority of care responsibilities still fall onto women, which results in 30% of talented women dropping out of the workforce entirely, even though 70% of these same women say that they would have stayed in the workforce if they just would have had more flexibility with their work schedules and policies.
In addition, their website says that this issue doesn’t just affect women. Many men complain that they are left with the burden of earning the main income and are excluded from being as involved with their children and their family as they would prefer to be. They too would benefit having greater flexibility at work.
Werk Job Site is a new type of job marketplace that caters to ambitious job seekers who want career building opportunities that have pre-negotiated and pre-set options for flexibility which can be filtered based on specific needs.
Their website says that they host job openings in finance, accounting, communications and PR, creative services, fundraising, law, marketing, operations, product management, sales and business development, strategy, and talent and culture. They say that their “sweet spot” is six or more years of experience, and positions ranging from mid-level to executive.
If you are interested in working with this website, you will have to begin by filling out an application. Their team will evaluate your application, and then email you if you have been approved to join their site.
If your application is not approved, don’t worry! At this time the type of positions they have on their website is still somewhat limited, and their website says they do not wish to charge people for a membership if they will not be able to actually help them find a position.
If your application is approved, their Werkforce membership is priced at $48.00 per year and will provide you with job openings and opportunities you won’t find anywhere else.
This company does not appear to have a Refund Policy at this time, which is not surprising. They not only allow their customers to cancel their membership at any point to avoid being charged once their service renews, but they also include their application process specifically for the purpose of making sure they do not accept the paid membership of people for whom they do not currently have appropriate job postings.
Customer Service Contact Info
Customers who would like to contact Customer Service with any questions, concerns, or complaints can do so by email at Hello@SayWerk.com.
Unfortunately it doesn’t appear that there are many reviews of this website and service from members at this time. There are a variety of reviews available from magazines, websites, and blogs, all of which are very enthusiastic and positive about this hopefully progressive shift forward in the workforce, for both men and women. And since the application process is free, prospective members may want to try this service out for themselves.
Competitors and Alternatives?
There are many other websites which specialize in helping people find work from home, remote, telecommuting, and freelance jobs, but there are simply not as many websites that offer their users the ability to find traditional company jobs with promotional opportunities that simply happen to have schedule flexibility built in.
