About Virgin Wine Club
The Virgin Wine Club, found online at VirginWines.com, is a new wine club which say that they want to help people find new and different wines they that will enjoy and appreciate.
How Does It Work?
The Virgin Wine Club is a part of Virgin Wines, a subsidiary of the Virgin Group. They promise their customers that all their same values apply across all of their companies, including great products, great values, and great service.
The makers of Virgin Wine and the Virgin Wine Club say that they understand how difficult it can be to choose a good bottle of wine, since most places you go have a huge selection and very little guidance.
Their website says that they believe “life’s too short for boring wines,” which is why they sell boutique-quality, handcrafted wines from all over the world which have been selected by their “ridiculously picky wine buyers.”
In addition, Virgin Wine is the maker of a well-known and liked wine advent calendar, which features an equal number of white and red options, with some rose and bubbles thrown in. But their website says that these calendars sell out very fast, so customers will need to act quickly if they want to reserve one.
The cost of individual wines on this website will depend on what you are ordering, but each bottle will have the price clearly marked before you submit your order.
Customers who are interested in their wine club will be able to take advantage of their first time customer promotion and receive their first case for just $69.99, with $19.99 for shipping and applicable tax.
Your new case of wine will be shipped every three months for the price of $139.99, still with $19.99 for shipping and tax. Customers will notified ten days before each case ships and will always be given the chance to skip, change, or delay their case selection. Customers are also eligible for two “extra-special” seasonal cases.
Their website says that they want their customers to enjoy every bottle that they purchase, and if their customers are not entirely satisfied with any wine for any reason, please contact their Customer Service team and they promise you will be refunded in full.
There is an exception to this policy, however, and that is their fine and rare wines which priced at $50 and above. Once these bottles of wine have shipped, they will be considered final sale unless they are broken in transit.
Customer Service Contact Info
Customers who would like to contact their Customer Service team with any questions, concerns, or complaints can do so by phone at 866-426-0336 or by submitting them directly to their website.
This wine club appears to have mixed reviews at this time, though the fact that they are available internationally makes it difficult to determine if the issues they have had in the past are specific to an area.
Competitors and Alternatives?
There are actually many different wine clubs available, but whether or not a certain wine club is available to you will depend on your geographic location. Not every state allows alcohol to be shipped through the mail, and some regions will have options available to them that aren’t necessarily available nationwide. Customers will want to look and see what specific clubs are available in their local area.
