About Upright Go
The Upright Go is a new product currently being crowdfunded on Kickstarter that promises to give customers the training and information they need to improve their posture in less than one month.
How Does It Work?
According to their website, 8 out of every 10 Americans experiences back, and 54% of these people have back pain that is related to the fact that they spend most of their day sitting.
Upright Go says that slouching in front of a screen is one of the main prices we pay for our modern lifestyles, and the reality is that poor posture doesn’t just look bad, it actually has very real negative effects on your body. The goal of the Upright Go is simply to bring people the awareness and information they need regarding their own posture so that they can make the effort to improve.
This product is worn on the body, in between your shoulder blades, and can be used in two different modes. The first is their Tracking mode, which simply tracks your posture and provides customers with infographics explaining how your posture changes throughout the day, and how your posture is improving over time.
It can also be used in Training mode, which is when the device will slouch each time you slouch so that you can be reminded to correct your posture, as well as saving your data to their app. When used in training mode, the website says that posture can improve as quickly as two to three weeks.
At this time, the Kickstarter page is clear that their product will be available with an app for iOS and Android platforms.
This product is actually not yet available on the open market, as it is still in the process of their Kickstarter crowdfunding project. During their crowdfunding, customers will be able to get this product for $69, which their website says is a 30% discount off the eventual retail price of $99.
Their website does say that this product is estimated to ship in August of 2017, but these dates may change if issues or problems occur during the production process.
Because this product is still in the crowdfunding stage of production, it does not appear that their website offers any information regarding refunds or returns of their product at this time.
Customers who are curious about refunds of the money they paid to the Kickstarter campaign will need to contact their Customer Service team directly to see what policies might be in place, and hopefully by the time these products begin shipping out to crowdfunding supporters the website itself will be offering a published, detailed explanation of Refund or Return Policies for their customers who have an issue with their purchase.
Customer Service Contact Info
Customers who would like to contact Customer Service with any questions, concerns, or complaints can do so by using the Ask A Question link available on their Kickstarter page.
Unfortunately this company does not yet have any products available for their customers, so there are not any customer reviews available for them at this time. That being said, there are already many different kinds of posture improvement devices on the market, as well as wearable health devices that translate data to a helpful mobile application, so it won’t be surprising if this company is able to fulfill their promises to their customers once their product does ship.
Competitors and Alternatives?
As mentioned above, there are many different products already available on the market that want to help people improve their posture, so customers looking for products that are already available or simply take a different approach to posture improvement are available to customers.
