About Thrive Market
The Thrive Market, found online at ThriveMarket.com, is an online retailer that provides their customers with the organic and value based brands that they love for lower prices than they will find anywhere else.
How Does It Work?
The Thrive Market gives their members access to shop more than 4,000 different organic, non-GMO, and other value based brands at lower prices than they will find anywhere else.
Their website promises that customers will be able to save between 25% and 50% on every item they carry, and all you have to do is take time to set up an account. They also say that one of the best parts of their service is no more going to the store – all products will be delivered right to your door.
Customers will be able to find the products they are looking for by going through categories like Food, Babies & Kids, Pet Care, Health, Beauty, Bath & Body, or Home, or customers can choose to search through products by a particular Value, including Paleo, Raw, Vegan, Gluten-Free, Moms, and more.
When customers initially sign up for this service they will receive their first 30 days of membership completely free. Once your 30 days are up, you will be charged $59.95 in order to receive a full year long membership to their service.
Their website says that this membership fee amounts to $5.00 per month and is easily made back each month in the savings you will earn on your products. In addition, their website says that for each paid membership, Thrive Market provides a free membership to a family in need, teacher, veteran, or first responder.
Finally, this company says that they charge fees for two reasons. First, so they can avoid marketing up products for profitability, and the second is so they can provide free memberships to people in need. Their Thrive Gives program distributes Thrive Market memberships through non-profit partners.
This company provides their customers with what they call a Happiness Guarantee. This Guarantee states that any customer who does not make their $60 membership back in total savings by the end of the year will get the remainder credited back to their account when they sign up for another year.
For example, if at the end of the year you have only saved $40, then $20 will be credited back to your account after you sign up for another year of membership.
In addition their website does say that any customer who has a problem or issue with a product they ordered from this website should contact their Customer Service team within the first seven days of the date of delivery so they can address your concern right away.
Customer Service Contact Info
Customers who wish to speak with Customer Service about their questions, concerns, or complaints can do so by submitting them directly to their website through their Contact Us link at the bottom of their page.
This company actually suffers from a number of poor reviews posted online by customers who claim they had no idea that this company charged a membership fee and that they believe their credit card was charged with no notice. Other customers mentioned that they wrote the company to cancel their membership at the end of the year and were still charged for another enrollment fee, until they contacted Customer Service for a refund.
Both of these issues are very frustrating and it’s not surprising that customers reported these bad experiences. But if you are a customer is aware of the membership fee and is just interested to know whether this service is worth it, there are many reviews available that show this company provides significant savings over both Amazon.com and Whole Foods.
Competitors and Alternatives?
Membership services that provide customers discounts for buying products through their site or service are not uncommon, and there are many different websites that specialize in these types of products and goods, so customers should be able to find many different options that may meet their needs.
