Texas SuperFoods Reviews

Texas SuperFoods, found online at TexasSuperFood.com, is a health and wellness company that produces a supplement which they promise provides one of the largest nutrient stores of any supplement on the market.
How Does It Work?
According to their website, Texas SuperFoods was created by Dr. Dennis Black, a Naturopathic Doctor who wanted to help people find ways to make holistic lifestyle changes that will improve their health naturally.
Texas SuperFoods is a daily nutritional supplement which comes in either capsule or powder form and promises to give people the daily nutrient equivalent to what they would receive from eating 55 different fruits and vegetables in a single day.
Their website says that there is no difference in their capsule or powder formulas, they simply provide their supplement in multiple forms to meet the preferences of their different customers.
Ingredients and Side Effects
This website says that customers are welcome to download a full copy of their product label in order to get access to their full list of ingredients, along with dosages, but their bottom line is that Texas SuperFood contains “the nutrients of 55 naturally grown, raw, fruits and vegetables, picked at the peak of nutritional perfection.”
In addition they promise that their product contains no toxic chemicals and is free of herbicides and pesticides. It also does not contain any animal products, dairy, egg, gluten, soy, corn, wheat, isolated sugar, sodium, fillers, binders, artificial colors, flavors, preservatives, sweeteners, or synthetic additives of any kind.
Customers who have any known negative side effects, allergens, or sensitivities to different fruits and vegetables will definitely want to check their full list printed list of ingredients before purchasing and not rely on their list of pictured ingredients.
Cost/Price Plans
Currently both a one month supply of Texas SuperFoods capsules and powder are priced at a one-time fee of $59.95.
Refund Policy
This website doesn’t provide a Refund Policy, per se, but they do offer something they call their Risk Free Trial.
This policy states that any customer who is dissatisfied with their purchase within the initial 30 days from the date of their purchase – not delivery, but purchase – is welcome to return the unused portion of their product for a refund of the purchase price, less the cost of shipping and handling.
To initiate your return you will need to contact their Customer Service team by phone at 888-363-6888 to receive a valid Return Merchandise Authorization number. This RMA number is valid for 15 days from the date it is issued, and the product must be returned to their warehouse while the number is still valid in order to be accepted as a return.
Customer Service Contact Info
Customers who would like to contact Customer Service with any questions, concerns, or complaints can do so by phone at 888-363-6888 or by email at [email protected].
Reputation
At this time, this company does not provide much information about what their product is intended to do, other than to provide people with a large area of nutrients that they could otherwise only get from eating a significant amount of fruits and vegetables each day.
This is likely because in spring of 2015, the FDA sent a warning letter to Dr. Dennis Black and his TexasSuperFoods regarding the health related claims that were made on his websites and the websites promoting his products.
The complaint showed that none of his products were known to fight common medical conditions like diabetes or migraines, and that the lab which was manufacturing his products was not establishing any guidelines for the purity and strength of the supplements they were producing.
This is obviously very disheartening, and when it is combined with the large number of reviews available online where customers state that this product essential did nothing for them, it doesn’t paint a very promising picture for prospective customers.
Competitors and Alternatives?
No doubt there are many, many other nutritional supplements and health products that you can find on the market that utilizes many of the same ingredients as you will find at Texas SuperFoods, even at your local health food store, so customers looking for alternatives should easily be able to find what they need.

Texas Super Foods is the Real Deal.
Gut and Nail Benefits
So I guess according to this website's review of Texas SuperFoods, I was duped like the rest of you schlubs looking for a way to get more veggies into my diet. I've been using it as recommended, powder (mostly)/pills (if I was too busy that morning) and two things have happened.
My gut health doesn't seem better, it IS much better. I used to average a sour stomach and diarrhea about twice a week but haven't had any issues for about 2 months since starting SuperFoods.
Also, I've suffered from toenail fungus for 30 years and have tried every home remedy under the sun and although my nails aren't completely clear, they look better than they have in a long, long time.
Other than those two things, I haven't noticed any difference in energy levels or mental clarity like some of the other reviews mention but I'll take the gut and nail benefits any day of the week.
