How Does It Work?
According to their website, there are many people and small business owners around the world who would genuinely benefit from the free time they would have, if only they had a Virtual Assistant that could take on their small tasks for them, and leave them to concentrate on the bigger issues. But hiring a Virtual Assistant is often cost prohibitive for the average person or small business owner.
TasksEveryday.com attempts to solve this problem, and provide people with an overseas VA who can complete tasks of any type, which do not require a physical presence and can be executed using a phone or computer.
All you have to do is sign up and create your account, and then speak with a Senior Manager who will learn the type of tasks you need help with and will assign you a VA who has the experience to meet your needs, or you can request someone by their area of expertise, including Virtual Assistants, Bookkeepers, MBA Consultants, SEO Experts, Web Designers, Graphic Designers, and Content Writers.
The website says that their workers cost $6.98 per hour, however elsewhere on the website it says that when you set up your account you will be asked to select a pre-paid package of hours, and there is an implication that larger packages will result in cheaper, discounted prices. Unfortunately this website does not publish their pre-paid packages – the costs are not available until you actually set up your account.
The website says that all customers who cancel their account within the first seven days after signing up, without ever fully setting up their account, will be given a full refund of any fees they have paid. Any customer who has successfully completed the entire account setup process and has begun working with their Virtual Assistant will no longer be eligible for any refunds.
If you do believe that something has occurred which justifies a refund even after your account has been set up, you can contact TasksEveryday.com and explain your situation. Each request will be handled on a case-by-case basis.

It seems as though there are some serious issues with simple tasks taking longer than they should – resulting in higher prices than should be charged – as well as tasks being done at a dissatisfactory level. And since the company does not generally honor refund requests, many customers find themselves with hours of pre-paid Virtual Assistant service that is generally considered more of a pain than a help.
There were some positive reviews of this company in among the negative, but the bottom line seems to be that if you are considering using this company, you should purchase the smallest possible package until you are matched with a VA that genuinely performs quality work, or you should simply look elsewhere.
