About Tagg Pet Tracker

The Tagg Pet Tracker is a new mobile pet tracking system that allows you to keep track of your pet’s location and their activity levels, twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week.

The Tagg Pet Tracker is described as a small, lightweight, tough device that can be used for dogs or for cats. It attaches to the collar and can be worn at all times, even if your pet goes swimming. This device sends a signal that can be tracked from your computer or your mobile phone.

According to their website, many pets in today’s homes have microchips, so they can be easily identified when they are found, but these microchips do not prevent your pet from getting lost.

The Tagg system will both email and text you if your pet goes outside of their normal area. You can then use your computer or mobile app to see a coverage map, which will show you where your pet is located.

In addition, the tracker allows you to keep tabs on your pet’s physical activity. Veterinarians recommend your pet get 30-60 minutes of daily exercise. The Tagg system will tell you if your dog is getting enough activity.

The device has a battery life of up to 30 days, depending on your pet’s activity. Standard usage usually requires the battery to be charged twice a month. You will receive a text and email when the battery is low and needs to be recharged.

The price of the Tagg system is $99.95 for the device, its docking station, and 3 months of service. After that, you will have to pay a $7.95 monthly fee to continue service.

After you purchase the device, you simply need to set up your account, activate your tracker, set up your personal Tagg zone and create a “geofence” around the area where your pet spends most of their time. The Tagg map will show you the range of coverage in your area.

Customers who have complaints about this system can contact Customer Service for help or for instructions on how to return the system for a refund within 30 days of purchase.

1. If you are not in an AT&T area, forget it.
2. If you do not activate the unit within 18 months of purchase, they permanently deactivate it.
3. They will not support earlier models. If it breaks and your not in number 1, forget it.
