Taga 2.0 Family Bike Reviews
About Taga 2.0 Family Bike
The Taga 2.0 Family Bike, found online at Indiegogo.com, is a new product which says that they have provided their customers with “everything you can imagine in a family bike. And then some.”
How Does It Work?
According to their website, Taga set out to design a bike specifically for the needs of the modern family, and they started from scratch. Three years later, they had the Taga 1.0, which was the original version of their comfortable and safe family bike.
When they set out to make the Taga 2.0 Family Bike, the goal was to make sure that families could get everything they need from a family bike, but in an affordable way. Their new version has the children sitting in the front, and can accommodate three children per bike.
Their website says that the Taga 2.0 uses a rigid frame, disc brakes, and was tested under heavy loads to ensure that it would always be stable, even if you hit a pothole while riding. But they also understood that comfort was important to their product, which is why they include luxury seat padding, seats that are able to fully recline into sleeping positions, and adjustable headrests.
Taga 2.0 was also intended to provide family biking at prices more affordable than they had been in the past, which is why they made sure their bike would not just retail for under $2000 while also saving parents money on gasoline, parking, and gym memberships.
The Indiegogo webpage indicates that the pre-order price for this product is currently $849 for their bike with just its cargo compartment, which means that child seat and other add-ons will need to be purchased separately. This product will retail for $999.
If you do want to pre-purchase the Taga with at least one child seat you can do so for $999, which is a discount off the eventual retail price of $1,239. The website also says that this product is estimated to begin shipping to crowdfunding customers in July of 2017, though these dates may change over time.
Unfortunately because this company is still in their crowdfunding stage they do not have a published Refund or Return Policy available for their customers at this time. If you are concerned about possibly needing a refund of the money you pay during this pre-order stage, or after your product arrives, you will need to contact their Customer Service team to see what policies may be in place.
Customer Service Contact Info
Customers who would like to contact Customer Service with any questions, concerns, or complaints can do so by using the social media links this company has posted on their Indiegogo page or by email at [email protected]
Because this product is still in the crowdfunding stage, unfortunately there will not be any available customer reviews for this product at this time. That being said, their previous Taga 1.0 Family Bike was considered really successful and was a popular product for families, despite its expensive price tag.
Taga has said their whole goal with this product was to improve upon a product that they were already proud of and that was already well-liked by their customers.
Competitors and Alternatives?
Since bike riding is one of the oldest family-friendly group activities, there are many different products and bicycles that are designed with the idea of family riding in mind, so customers who are hoping to find alternatives to this product should have many other options which may work better for their personal circumstances or needs.

4 ‘Taga 2.0 Family Bike’ Reviews
I supported this company with a lot of money. They folded, kept my bike and then reformed and are selling my bike to someone else.
Don't buy from them. Don't support a company that scammed hundreds of people out of thousands of dollars.
The company declared bankruptcy, not allowing refunds or product delivery since everything has been seized as part of the dissolution process . Our family is out $2,117. They knew this was the path they were going down and continued to accept new orders, regardless of the fact that people who placed their orders six months before had yet to receive bikes. Terrible for those of us out a significant amount of money.
TAGA has dissolved, taking our money and bikes and not promising any refunds. this is a large purchase and there's nothing we can do without hiring a lawyer.
