StoresOnline is a company that claims to offer a full ecommerce business training  and support to customers.  They host nationwide introductory seminars in which they present folks with the idea of having their own profitable online store front business.

In their presentation StoresOnline reps go through various aspects of running a business online.  They touch on topics such as internet marketing, search engine optimization, and website links.

These seminars are a platform for the company to explain their business and introduce you to the variety of services that their platform provides.

What they are selling is an all in one ecommerce solution that is designed to get you from zero to a fully functioning online business.

Online Reviews/Complaints:

Over their years in business StoresOnline has accumulated an enormous amount of complaints.  Issues include unfulfilled refund requests, poor customer service, and exaggerated profit claims.

Recently, StoresOnline has taken a step to restore its reputation.  They have worked with a popular online complaint website to publicly resolve long standing complaints.  It's not clear if these actions are sincere or just an effort to regain lost revenue from a growing negative reputation.

Competitors and Alternatives:

There are many ecommerce platforms in the market with a wide range of features and automation levels.  Some of the most popular ones include: Shopify, Lucrazon, and BrainTree.

I have been with stores-online since November 2010. Don't buy their product! I have over 50 calls and live chats to customer support on building my site and doing SEO and other page rank features. I bought the pro service pack and also bought the extra $450 link building pack. My site was launched April 2011 and I have yet to make a single sale. I have done everything they asked me too and more. I'm thousands of dollars in the hole with this company. Any class action law suites I can join? If so please contact me. They promised over and over again that this would be a work at home income. That it would give me financial freedom. Their promises have all been lies!!!

My story is very similar to those that have come before me. StoresOnline found me in Aug. 2009 with an existing successful (side project) jewelry business and needing a website. A $48 website turned into a $6000+ nightmare. I realized it was a money pit when PMI (their affiliate) started bombarding me with sales calls (their SEO services ranged from $5000-15000). At that point, I had paid about $2000 to StoresOnline in payments on the platinum package. My website was operational after a lot of disappointment in my programmer and not producing any sales. I did some online research and found that the State of Texas Attorney General's office had already filed a class action law suit against them & won it, as with some other states. So in Nov. 2009, I filed an online complaint with Texas AG and never received a response. I cancelled all credit card accounts that StoresOnline possessed information on and just stopped paying them. They sent their collection agent after me, Palomar Associates (also known as DuVera Billing) and I tried to ignore them. In Dec. 2010, I became a member and independent associate for LegalShield and have used the member benefits quite extensively for advice on my problems surrounding StoresOnline. After several letters, StoresOnline stands firm that I owe them the remaining balance on the contract even though I only used it for a couple months and haven't had access to it for years. I filed a second complaint with Texas AG in Jan. 2012 and finally received a response that stated they needed more people to submit their complaints before they would do re-open the lawsuit. I encourage everyone to file a complaint, it's the only chance we have to stop this business from taking advantage of people. When we attended the stores online presentation, the speaker made stores on line sound like the most profitable and easiest way to make money on line. It turned out to be a night mare. We lost thousands of dollars and never made a dime. They had market people calling us constantly and tried to get us to make instant decisions on spending thousands more and we just had to tell them to go to hell. Do not buy into their lies.

My wife and I purchased the package about a year ago. Listened to their carefully scripted seminar and embarrassingly enough, we bought into it. Within 3 months I was no longer able to log on to the programs because I was told that I hadn't paid my "monthly dues" which is over and above the nearly $300 per month payment we were making. Many of the items they "sold", like the Google page ranking, you can get for free. The customer service they say if you dont utilize is worthless at best, and all they ever told me to do was Google it. Thus again, can be done for free. Looking to set up a class action lawsuit against the company. I know 2 Senators in MI as well as an attorney on retainer who is close with the former MI Atty General.

Storesonline is not what it promises at all. I was trying to cancel my purchase but since it was over three days they didn't allow the cancellation. I asked Storosonline consultant Mac Boyler to give me real people I can talk to, to share their experience with me, of how they got their success. But he never got back to me. I tried to work it out but even with the 5000.00 tag price every step you take in building the website requires a fee.

I hope they stop taking advantage of people. I have worked with direct sales and tangible products, that honor cancellations. I think honoring cancellations is a mark of a legitimate business. 3 day deadline is really too short. I just hope I checked, before I went in. With all the complaints about Storesonline with Better Business Bureau, this company should really stop operation . What is our government doing about this?

I bought into the SOL scam back in 2004. I'm still holding out hope to get some of my money back someday. I have even tried sending all their material back. They refused it and it was returned to me. Storesonline has done nothing worthwhile for me.

I purchased this program almost 9 months ago. I already have an existing business and Stores Online promised to have my online store up and running within 30-60 days....Well 9 months later and faithful calling 2 to 3 times per week ,,,,my online has yet to be activated. It takes forever to get to a Supervisor and all the false promises of "it will be resolved in 24 hrs",,,,,,BS! The only thing thats resolved is they keep delaying the project and taking the monthly fee....(which has been stopped) and Ill look to other options for Online Selling! Professional Crooks
