About StartMonday is the online home of StartMonday, a company that says their goal is to provide people with a brand new way to make positive first impressions when applying for jobs. 

How Does It Work?

According to their website, studies have shown that when it comes to recruiting new talent for open positions, there is a specific stage of the process that simply isn’t being well addressed by the standard job application tools. This stage is called pre-selection. 

The pre-selection stage is where applicants are chosen for interviews, and this stage of the recruitment process is often time consuming and very expensive, especially with large scale employers that collect hundreds or even thousands of candidate resumes.

StartMonday’s solution to this tedious and overwhelming process was to provide both employers and candidates with a way to stand out from the rest of the crowd, by recording and submitting a 15 second video where you can take the time to introduce yourself to the hiring manager.

This video allows the hiring team to get an idea of the candidate’s personality, motivation, communication, and language skills all within 15 seconds. They can then choose whether they would like to have a real time text chat with candidates to get more information before they are invited in for an interview.

This website does not actually publish the cost of their features and services at this time. They do offer a free demonstration of their service, and it seems as though they do offer a basic, free version of their service to begin with so that customers can get an understanding of how this service works.

Unfortunately this company does not appear to provide their customers with a Refund Policy at this time. This is likely because it appears that they do offer a free introductory version of their app, which means that people will already be familiar with this product and service before they ever make the choice to upgrade to the paid features of the application. Still, if a customer has a poor experience and they believe that they deserve a refund of any fees they have paid, they should contact their Customer Service team and explain their circumstances.
