SPOT Trace Reviews
About SPOT Trace
SPOT Trace, found on FindMeSpot.com, is a company that says they can give you the ability to "track anything, anytime, and anywhere," using GP satellite signals and tracking services.
How Does It Work?
The SPOT Trace works like many other available item trackers at this time, by providing you with small mobile tracking devices which can be affixed to any item you choose, though their service is recommended for large scale items, such as boats, cars, motorcycles, and more.
If your items are moved at any point, you will be alerted via text message and email, and satellite technology will track your items further and more accurately than traditional cell coverage can.
You can be aware of where your items are at all times by using Google Maps to check their locations in nearly real time, depending on which timing intervals you choose: 2 1/2 minutes, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 30 minutes, or 60 minutes.
The SPOT Trace itself is described as starting at $99.95, with potential for 50% off the full price with a mail in rebate. But this service requires a subscription, which can either cost $99.99 for a year up front, or you can choose to pay $9.99 per month for a full year. They also offer additional services which can be paid for in annual or monthly increments, depending on your choice.
Unfortunately, at this time it appears as though the website for SPOT Trace does not provide any available information regarding Refund Policies.

Competitors and Alternatives?
These types of tracking devices are becoming very popular, however these other available services rely on cellular tracking and so they have space limitations, including the TrackR Bravo, The Tile App, and the StoneTether.
