Sonic Groom, found online at SonicGroom.com, describes their product as “the ultra sleek trimmer that combines sonic power with micro touch technology” to meet all your grooming needs. 

How Does It Work?

According to their website, the Sonic Groom trimmer is designed for use on your face, which means that it is safe enough, gentle enough, and able to handle both sensitive areas as well as hair of different kinds and types. But perhaps even more important, is that the website states that a trimmer that is safe enough and effective enough to use on your face will also be safe enough and effective enough for any place on your body. 

The website says that the snap on guides which come with your trimmer can make the act of trimming as simply as combing your hair, while the micro-foil shaving head is designed to be effective on tough beards. 

The Sonic Groom promises to be just as effective as a razor blade, but much safer, and which can be used for all your shaving needs, including on your beards, mustaches, ears, noses, and wherever else you choose.

Customers who order soon will be able to take advantage of their promotional offer, which says that you can purchase a Sonic Groom for just $39.99, with the option to get free shipping at this time. Customers who live in the states of California, New Jersey, and Nevada will have additional sales tax applied to their orders, and should be prepared for this.  

Refund Policy

This website does say that they provide their customers with an option for returning this product for a refund, but unfortunately the website provides conflicting information as to the details of this policy. On the sales page, the policy is described as being a 60 day Return Policy, while on the Return Policy page the policy is described as only being valid for the first 30 days. 

Since the website provides a conflicting time period and very few additional details about the process customers need to follow in order to successfully receive their refund, concerned customers should contact the Customer Service team for the full set of return instructions to ensure they get their refund.

Reputation

Unfortunately this product appears to have many different negative reviews at this time, with many people complaining about the long length of time it takes for this product to arrive at your home, as well as the poor Customer Service that doesn’t answer the phone or respond to emails.

As for the product itself, customers seem very displeased with its performance, saying that the shaver is fairly weak and won’t be able to handle all the grooming needs the website claims that it will, and other customers claiming that this product broke within just a few weeks of use.       

Competitors and Alternatives?

Certainly there are many other personal trimmers available on the market that make similar claims, like Micro Touch Grooming, as well as many different companies that offer more traditional shaving options, like those offered by Harry’s Razors, the Dollar Shave Club, The Art of Shaving, and many others.

In Jan.,2016,I ordered 2 Sonic Groom shavers.Before they were delivered to my address,I moved to another town.I called customer service,informed the lady on the phone that I was moving,and asked that the product be shipped to my new address.She assured me when delivery was made to my old address,the package would be returned,they would contact me for my new address,and the package delivered.I have tried for 6 months to get this resolved,they conveniently have no records of my contacting them numerous times.It was informed earlier that "IT has been to long to resolve this problem".They have my trimmers and my $74.98,and there's nothing I can do about it but hopefully keep someone else from being ripped off like I was.
