Shutterfly, found online at Shutterfly.com, is a website which allows users to upload, edit, and store their digital photos for free, and then use to them to create a wide array of custom photo gifts.
With almost all regular point-and-click cameras being used today result in digital photos, and websites that allow you to edit these photos and then share them with friends and family, like Snapfish and Flikr, are quickly growing in popularity.
Shutterfly offers their members free accounts that allow their users unlimited storage, as well as the ability to edit the photos to fix common problems like red eye and issues with exposure, and extra features like adding more than 400 colorful, festive, and seasonal borders.
Once your photos are edited to your liking, you can share them with friends and family members for free, and there will be no need for them to register or log in to an account – they will simply be able to see your photos in an online slideshow.
When ordering physical prints of your pictures, you can also add a short message on the back of each print for free, which is good for sending photos as gifts and also for keeping track of where and when photos have been taken.
You can also use your photos to create customized photo books, greeting cards, and customized photo gifts, like iPhone cases, mugs, Fleece photo blankets, and more. If you are unhappy with anything you order from Shutterfly, you can contact customer service to discuss return options.
In cases where there was an issue with a photo or text, you will be provided with product credits so that you can address the issues and replace your order at no extra cost to yourself.
Other issues which are not as easy to fix can result in a refund, as long as you are within 60 days of purchasing your product. If there is an issue after 60 days, you’ll need to contact customer service to determine how to proceed.
