Seeso, found online at Seeso.com, says that they are a new television and movie streaming service that promises their customers “all the comedy you can watch, ad-free.”
How Does It Work?
According to their website, Seeso should be “newest addition to your entertainment lineup” if you are someone who truly loves and appreciates comedy and comedic entertainment.
The Seeso streaming service is a new subsidiary of NBC and promises to give their customers access to hours of premium HD comedy with new original content added every week.
They offer remastered classics like Monty Python, stand-up comedy specials, live streaming comedy shows from The Barrel House in San Francisco, next day TV like The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and “binge worthy” classics like 30 Rock and Parks and Recreation. The best part is, all of this content will be offered with no advertisements or commercials.
Currently Seeso is only available in the United States, and plays through providers like XBOX, Roku® Players & TVs™, Amazon Fire TVs & TV Stick, and through Amazon Video.
First time customers are welcome to sign up for a free 30 day trial, with no credit card information required, so they can try this service before signing up for a paid subscription. Once you do sign up, you will be charged $3.99 for each month you subscribe. Seeso is currently only available on a month-to-month basis, with no options for long term, pre-paid subscriptions.
This company does not provide their customers with any Refund Policy, instead saying that their customers are welcome to cancel their subscription whenever they choose without restrictions. They will be able to finish out whatever subscription cycle they are in the middle of, and then their subscription will be canceled before their next billing date and customers will receive no further charges.
Customer Service Contact Info
Customers who would like to contact their Customer Service team with questions, concerns, or complaints can do so by email at [email protected] and by using their website’s Live Chat feature whenever it is available.
There are actually not that very many customer or professional views of this service at this time, even though it has been in operation for about a year. Most of the reviews that are available speak well of what this company is trying to do, provide a specifically targeted service to customers for an affordable monthly cost.
In addition, this company provides first time customers with a free 30 day trial and they do not expect or require any long term contracts, so all customers are welcome to use this service for as long as they choose to and cancel at any time. This means that customers are able to try this service before they commit financially and cancel it as soon as they don’t feel it suits their needs any longer.
Competitors and Alternatives?
There are many, many different television and movie streaming services available for customers, though most of them don’t choose a single particular genre of material to focus on, and instead choose to offer a wide variety of options. These services include Netflix, Hulu Plus, BringMeSports, TelevisionFanatic.com, and many others.

I tried seeso out for about month or so and decided it wasn't worth keeping. I couldn't remember password to log in , so hit forgot password. They sent an email which was supposed to have a reset code, but the code is never included. I have emailed customer service several times, but they just keep telling me to use the reset code, but there never a code to use in the email they send. I provided all the info they asked for and asked if they could go in and cancel for me, but so far, still no success. I have never had so much trouble resetting a password. Ive sent screenshots of the emails with the missing code and everything. I'm still being billed even though I have been trying to cancel since last month, May 2017. I would not recommend anyone join seeso, but if you do, be sure to write down your log in info.
I signed up for a "free trial" of Seeso through Amazon Prime. I only watched half of one movie and canceled within 24 hours through the cancellation option on Amazon Prime. However today, two months later, I noticed they have been billing me $3.99 per month DESPITE cancelling through the option given on Amazon Prime. They have refused to refund me the $7.98 billed. I was on the fence about signing up because I figured this may be a scam and difficult to cancel. I don't need the refund money ... I'm only leaving the review because of the unfair nature of their cancellation policy. If you are able to sign up through Amazon Prime and given the option to cancel though Amazon Prime, Seeso should recognize it. This is an unfair business practice. As an attorney, I'm surprised someone hasn't filed suit yet.
