Scentsy is a company that claims their products "warm the heart" and "enliven the senses" with their wide variety of fragrance based items for the home and personal use, such as fresheners, laundry detergents, soaps and sanitizers, fragrant wax, bath and body products, travel products, and more.
These products are sold through personal Consultants who will help you or someone you know host an at home party, where guests can try out products personally and purchase their favorites.
How Does It Work?
Customers who would like to hold a Scentsy party can use their website to find a Consultant in their area who will help them host a party for their friends and loved ones and arrange sales of the products.
Customers who are specifically interested in becoming a Consultant can submit their contact information to their website and speak directly to someone about the opportunity. The website does provide many details for customers who would like a beginning understanding of what they have to offer.
The costs of their products are not listed online, but they will range in price depending on the product, the size, the volume, and the fragrance.
There will always be costs associated with starting your own independent business. Scentsy says that their initial Starter Kit costs $99, and there may be more upgraded packages available for customers who are interested.
As far as an overall, general Refund Policy or Return Policy is concerned, the website does not have one currently published. However customers who are curious or concerned can always contact Customer Service or your Consultant to question them about whatever policies may be available.
Customer Service Contact Info
They do have a Customer Service phone number you can use in case you have questions, complaints, or concerns, which is 877-855-0617, otherwise customers can contact them at [email protected] or traditional mail at 2701 E. Pine Ave., Meridian, ID 83642.
While Scentsy seems to have a positive reputation in general, there is a history of some complaints regarding customers having problems with their individual Consultants or with some individual products they have received.
Is It Safe?
There does not seem to be any complaints regarding safety at this time.

1 ‘Scentsy’ Review
I haven't seen the full range of products, but here in Australia the brand is popping up like a wildfire. In saying that the markets that I have seen them at haven't got all the soy tarts or only have some as the display items.
To me I would rather spend my money on the local chandlers who go and make their own products and spend the time doing the background research in melting and testing each scent before selling it at a market and if you have a question they can tell you or give you some advice straight away, unlike some of the newer Scentsy resellers who only read off the company lines.
