Saily App Reviews
About Saily App
The Saily App, found online at Saily.co, is a mobile application and website which describes themselves as “an awesome marketplace” where local buyers and sellers can connect and negotiate purchases.
How Does It Work?
The Saily App was created for people who needed to find something to do with the products they rarely used and didn’t need anymore, besides simply throwing them into the closet, garage, or basement.
The creators of Saily wanted to provide people with the “easiest, safest, and quickest way to buy and sell secondhand stuff, ever.” Using a simple mobile app design, they created a place where people could post the stuff they wanted to sell within just fifteen seconds by taking a picture, adding their price and a description, and uploading it all for everyone in their local area to see.
When buyers find items they are interested in on this application, they are able to speak with the seller to negotiate the price or to ask important questions about the item, and when the deal is struck, buyers can arrange to have the item shipped to their door, or the Saily App will recommend a neutral location near the buyer and seller where they can meet to exchange the item.
The Saily App actually is not up and running at this time. Their website indicates that they recently went back into Beta mode, where their mobile application is redesigned and retooled to be better for their customers than ever before.
That being said, similar mobile applications that connect buyers and sellers in local communities generally allow people to use their services completely for free, unless customers have made the personal decision to upgrade to paid features for their listings.
Because this company is not yet up and active, they do not provide any legal Terms and Conditions at this time nor any individually published Refund Policy. Even when they do eventually launch, it appears that it will be unlikely that this company will offer a Refund Policy, as their whole purpose is to arrange person-to-person trades and sales. This means that unhappy customers will need to reconnect with their specific seller in order to get the refund that they need.
Customer Service Contact Info
Customers who wish to contact Customer Service with questions, concerns, or complaints unfortunately will not be able to do so while this company is in the process of revamping their mobile application. If there is any opportunity to contact them, it appears that it is most likely to be through their social network accounts, like Facebook or Twitter.
Since this product has gone back in Beta while it revamps its platform and eventually re-launches, it is difficult to predict whether or not this mobile application will really be all it promises to be for its customers. However, it does appear that before this app launched the first that there were many high hopes for what they could provide their customers, and for the time that they were an active app, it seems as though they had positive reviews on iTunes and Google Play. This all indicates that when this is app is finally completed and ready for re-launch that it will be worthwhile for interested customers to try their services for themselves.
Competitors and Alternatives?
There are other mobile applications that work to provide people with alternative marketplaces for buying and selling used or pre-owned items, including Wallapop, Craigslist, USell.com, Listia, Zumu.co, SecondSpin.com, and more.
