The company website states that the formula is drug free, which may be appealing to those people trying to avoid using opioid based pain treatment medicine.

The product is manufactured by Promedev, based in Kirkland, WA., who also produce several other formulas intended to treat a variety of ailments.

Relief Factor Ingredients

Individually, the ingredients in Relief Factor have shown limited effectiveness for their intended health uses in some studies, but Relief Factor itself has not undergone peer reviewed clinical testing.

The main ingredients of Relief Factor include:

Omega-3 - Derived from wild caught mackerel, anchovies and sardines.

Icariin - According to Wikipedia, is a type of flavonoid often derived from a species of plants known as horny goat weed, often associated with Chinese herbal medicine.

Resveratrol - Included in a group of compounds known as Polyphenols believed to act like antioxidants.  

Turmeric - Often used as a spice it is also purported to have many healing benefits in homeopathic treatments such as helping with inflammation.

Relief Factor Calm

Insufficient sleep has been shown to result in higher cortisol levels which can cause increased weight loss as well as increase the risk of developing heart disease.

It is all too common for senior citizens to become over reliant on sleeping pills and other prescription drugs in order to get a good night’s sleep.

Becoming too dependent on these drugs can have long-term side effects on the body and can result in it becoming impossible for you to get a good night’s sleep naturally.

Relief Factor Calm claims you can get a good night’s sleep naturally with their supplement.

Phosphatidylserine, the active ingredient in Relief Factor Calm is usually found in larger concentrations in the body’s central nervous system.

This phospholipid regulates the body’s cortisol levels while supporting healthy brain function and better memory.

The other active ingredient in Relief Factor Calm is Passionflower, a medicinal herb that has been used in non-traditional treatments to stimulate healthy sleep.

Passionflower may also help ease tension within your body, which in turn serves to improve general health.

Customer Reviews & Complaints

Overall, reviews related to Relief Factor are mixed. Some customers swear by Relief Factor claiming that they no longer experience pain in their joints and bones.

Other customers are less forthcoming about its effectiveness, claiming that Relief Factor has no noticeable effect on their health.

Some of the more negative experiences that customers claimed to have while trying the supplement were irritable stomach and diarrhea.

Another common complaint among customers is that they have been charged without their consent on several occasions by Relief Factor.

Along with this, some customers mentioned that they had difficulty contacting the customer service department and fully canceling their auto-shipments of more product.

To summarize, Relief Factor has its fair share of detractors.  At the time of this review the company has an A rating with the BBB but with a customer rating of 2 out of 5 stars.

It needs to be sealed, unopened, unmarked and still have its original blue and green bag. You need to write “refused” on the outside of the postal package and drop it in the mail.

The Bottom Line

Many of the ingredients in Relief Factor have been studied and may have shown promise, though none are prescribed as treatments for anything that marketers may claim they cure.  

Further, while the A rating from the BBB is promising, the many negative customer reviews are not.  Which is why we don’t feel the potential adverse reactions are worth any potential benefits the product may have.

It’s important to thoroughly research any supplements before taking them, as the FDA does not closely regulate this industry.

It's also a good idea to consult with a health professional before starting a new supplement and check for any potential negative interactions with other medication you may be on.
