ReceiptPal, found online at ReceipPalApp.com, is a mobile application which says that they give customers a way to “earn great rewards in a snap” just for uploading pictures of their receipts.
How Does It Work?
Members can sign up on their website or through their mobile applications for an account. When you sign up, you will be provided with five “cards” which are each worth 100 rewards points. Whenever you fill a card with receipts, you will be rewarded with your points.
There is a list of criteria for which receipts are acceptable to be submitted, including that each receipt must provide the merchant name, purchase date, total amount spent, items purchase, and either a phone number or zip code. The receipts must also be in US currency and in English. There are further instructions on their website for which receipts will be eligible and which will be ineligible.
Once you have submitted your receipt or e-receipt to the ReceiptPal mobile application, it should be processed within 24 hours, and the points will be submitted to your account. These points can be used toward rewards like gift cards and entries into weekly sweepstakes drawings.
Customers will be able to maintain points as long as they are an active member that is continually uploading receipts. If you let your account remain inactive for 90 days or longer, your account will be reset and your points will automatically expire.
ReceiptPal works by partnering with retailers and product brands, and the information from the receipts you provide will be made anonymous and then aggregated with the receipts of their other mobile app users to help brands make better product and marketing decisions. Because these companies pay for this market research, their services and their mobile applications to members are free.
At this time, they do offer a free application for both iOS and Android operating systems.
Since this company does not charge any money for their service, they also do not offer a published Refund Policy. Customers that have issues with something they have purchased must contact the retailer from whom they made the purchase in order to receive a refund.

It is frequently considered one of the top five mobile applications for people who are interested in being rewarded for making purchases they would make even without being rewarded.
