Proper Cloth Reviews
About Proper Cloth
Proper Cloth, found online at ProperCloth.com, is a company who says their goal is to make it easy for men to buy dress shirts that fit them perfectly, by giving them the ability to have affordable custom made shirts.
How Does It Work?
The Proper Cloth website says that they start their shirt design services with top quality fabrics that are both comfortable and durable, as well as experienced tailors which carefully hand sew their shirts using traditional methods.
Customers can choose the materials and detailing of their shirt, including style of collar, cuff, whether or not to include a pocket, and much more. Sizing of shirts can be done in person at their SoHo store if you live in New York City.
Customers who do not live in New York City can either measure a shirt they already own that fits them perfectly – or nearly perfect – or can send it in to their store where it will be measured and then returned to you.
Since this company offers so many different options for personalization, it is difficult to quote specific prices for their shirts, but the starting price for their basic shirt is $95, while the starting price for their top quality shirt is $150.
Proper Cloth does not offer a traditional Refund Policy. Instead they offer a Proper Fit Guarantee which says that if the shirt you purchase does not fit perfectly, you can send it back to their store with a list of changes to be made and the shirt will either be altered or created again, from scratch.

1 ‘Proper Cloth’ Review
Proper Cloth makes the choice of carrier (UPS) but claims to transfer liability after transfer. They do not ask you if you want insurance. It is debateable whether this is even legal under international law, but Proper Cloth was unable to resolve this and I had to go to the Credit Card company to get resolution.
