Pledge Music Reviews
About Pledge Music
Pledge Music, found online at PledgeMusic.com, says their company provides the most creative and interactive ways for their members to be involved with the journey musicians take when releasing their new work.
How Does It Work?
Artists who choose to use Pledge Music will get access to the tools, services, and support they will need to create their new music, videos, and merchandise, as well as way to expand their fan base by providing fans with an understanding of their band and their creative process while they are creating their newest music.
Fans can sign up for Pledge Music membership for free and begin searching through their featured and available artists to see what items and experiences you may be interested in "pledging" for.
Items and experiences sold by the bands range from copies of new albums, signed albums, and vinyl albums to experiences like music lessons from a band member conducted over Skype and dinner and a concert at the location of the band's choice.
Bands can offer a wide range of products and experiences and have discretion over pricing, so there is no way to quote a static set of costs for this website. A new album may cost $10 while a personal experience with the band or artist may cost $400. All fees and prices will be disclosed before you decide to pledge, however.
Pledge Music will not offer refunds unless a situation has occurred where a pledge has gone unfulfilled, at which time they will evaluate the individual circumstances and refund the customer's money.
Customer Service Contact Info
Customers who would like to contact Customer Service with any questions, concerns, or complaints can do so by email at [email protected] or by clicking the Contact Us About This Pledge button on the artist's page.
While there are not many customer or user reviews available at this time, there are many different third party blogs and websites that have reported enthusiastically on the potential this website has.
Competitors and Alternatives?
While there are many other websites for artists who are interested in help recording and distributing their next album, Pledge Music may be unique for the level of involvement they provide for the fans.

I am offended I have to give these charlatans 1 star but it is the lowest rating available. I ordered the new Space Monkeys album through these lying cheats way over a year ago. pledgemusic have ripped the band off and ripped the fans off. All they deal in is lies about how they are processing refunds and never, ever actually refund anybody. Jail is too good for them.
I was shipped two (one a replacement) vinyl copies of Sean McConnell's new release of "Secondhand Smoke," both so badly warped as to be unplayable. I suspect my sons ( I am 68-years old) will still be waiting for a refund long after I am gone. Do not buy anything directly from these people. I should have flushed my $35 down the toilet: it would have been quicker and much less painful.
Well over "3 YEARS AGO" I had pre-ordered a signed music cd by Tal Wilkenfeld. I paid $30.00. The only thing that this company provided to me was excuse after excuse, and the promise that my refund would soon be processed. Then, after 2 years had gone by, their excuses were "Well, since this is so old, it may take a bit longer to process. PledgeMusic is a scam!
I spent over $200 on a test pressing white vinyl for my dad for his 60th. Shipping said any time in 2017. The year passed and I didn't think too much of it as it said anytime and then with moving house and some health problems I completely forgot about my order until the middle of 2018. I never received any emails or contact from pledge in this time to say the item had been shipped or any updates. I logged in to pledge and say my vinyl was apparently posted in April 2017. I contacted them to say I hadn't received it and received very basic short answers back, from various employees who clearly didn't want to speak to me. They said it was outside the 60 odd days after shipping so nothing they can do, sorry, bye. I continued asking for proof of postage, where postage was from, the company, anything I could use to try and track down my order but they just sent a date written in the email and said it was from the UK "standard post". Why would it take up to 10 days "standard post" and why wouldn't you send something of such value tracked?! It was a lot of money and an eagerly awaited present and I am incredibly disappointed. What an awful company! Had I seen these reviews before ordering I wouldn't have done so.
Pre-Ordered Saxon vinyl bundle in July due to be fulfilled Aug 10. When I queried the whereabouts of the item in September was told that Pledge were awaiting delivery of stock. When I made a second query on Oct 8 was told that Pledge were ‘looking into it’. Consequently I requested a refund for this and another item that I had pre-ordered. Hopefully my money will be refunded in 2-3 days which is a whole lot slower than it takes them to take the money from you and take it under false pretences!! Not only could I purchase my pre-ordered items on EBay, I would be paying less and I’d get them a lot sooner despite my pre-ordering via Pledge. A name like Pledge suggests honesty and integrity, unfortunately, this company is neither. They will take your money and then give you the runaround. AVOID AVOID AVOID!!!
