Website: www.PawTree.com

pawTree is a company marketing a brand of dog food that isn't sold in stores, as well as an MLM business opportunity.

The company states pawTree dog food has been developed veterinary scientists with Ph.Ds in animal science and pet nutrition with the aim of maximizing nutrition based on an individual pet’s unique needs.

Products

pawTree is a company that sells cat and dog food to pet owners.

However, they do not sell their items in stores as typical companies do.  Instead, they sell through company consultants that are brought in as part of a compensation plan.

As the consultants bring in more business, their profits go up. Additionally, if they bring other consultants onto the team, their income rises. Is it a MLM? Yes.

The company sells a variety of items for your pets, including:

  • Dog Food
  • Puppy Food
  • Chillax (anxiety supplement)
  • Allergy Support Plus
  • Aches Away
  • Bladder Support
  • Dog Treats
  • Flea and Tick Spray
  • CBD Bone

What Are The Ingredients?

pawTree states that its mission is to give you the opportunity to feed your pet’s food with the best ingredients.  With this goal in mind, they utilize top-quality components to ensure that your pet is getting the nutrients they need.

Some of the ingredients used in pawTree dog food include:

  • Salmon Oil
  • Chicken
  • Chicken Meal
  • Oatmeal
  • Brown Rice
  • Pearled Barley
  • Chicken Fat
  • Tomato Pomace
  • Potato ProteinMillet
  • Natural Flavor
  • Flaxseed
  • Sea Salt
  • Fructooligosaccharides
  • Potassium Chloride
  • Marine Microalgae
  • Vitamins

As of the date of writing, pawTree has not been a part of any dog food recalls. However, that does not guarantee that your dog won’t have any adverse reactions to the food.

Always closely monitor your pet when switching to a new brand of food for any signs of distress and immediately discontinue feeding if you notice any.

Cost and Price Plans

With the back office administration of the product, it would make sense that pawTree would be moderately priced. However, the opposite is true. The cost of pawTree is higher than the larger quantities of some of the high-quality brands sold in stores.

As a reference, the price of one of the dog food products that they sell has the following associated costs:

10.3-pound bag - $35.99
20.6-pound bag - $59.99
30.9-pound bag - $78.99

The details do not provide a serving suggestion, so it is unclear how long each bag of food will last. However, the company does offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. Therefore, if your pet doesn’t like the food, you can get a refund.

How Is The Customer Service?

Ultimately, a lot of the customer service will fall on whoever your company representative is. If you purchase your food through your neighbor or a childhood friend, that will be your first line contact if any issues arise.

If more is needed, the company provides the following contact information for customers:

Phone Number: 855-940-5234
Email: [email protected]

Additionally, you can reach them through:

  • Online Contact Form
  • Facebook
  • Twitter
  • Instagram
  • YouTube
  • Pinterest
  • LinkedIn
  • Snapchat

There have been complaints from customers regarding the lack of assistance they receive from customer service.

One customer ordered food from the company only to find out her dog had two weeks to live. The company initially told her that it would be at her own expense if she wanted to return the food.

Online Customer Reviews & Complaints

The online reviews for pawTree are quite high. Many customers feel that the food and products have helped their pets immensely. The Better Business Bureau (BBB) gives the company a rating of A+ even though they are not accredited.

Pet owners say that the food’s salmon oil helps their dogs shed less and that the supplement line has made a tremendous impact on their animals.

Competitors and Alternatives

There is a large market for pet food and products, some similar in style to pawTree include:

pawTree vs. Life’s Abundance: The selling structure between the two companies has many similarities. However, Life’s Abundance sells products for both pets and humans.

pawTree vs. Science Diet: Science Diet is a high-quality dog food that is not sold in an MLM style. You can purchase the product at any pet store for less than pawTree.

Is pawTree Sold in Stores?

You can purchase pawTree from their official website only. The products are not sold in popular chain stores like Petsmart and Chewy.

The Bottom Line

When it comes to our pets, we want nothing but the best for them. In thinking about the food that we give them, we strive to have the highest nutrition and the purest ingredients.

Many options on the market fit this list. However, sometimes it comes down to taste. Some pets have picky palettes and will refuse certain brands and flavors of kibble.

What it boils down to with us is that pet owners are the ones who know their animals best. If your pet does well with the lower-cost option for food, then that expense is worth it for you. However, if the only recipe they will partake in is the pricy pawTree brand, then so be it. The most important aspect is that your pet is fed and healthy.

So with that, although pawTree may, in fact, operates like an MLM, the products they sell are worth it to some pet owners.

You get nothing for signing on never received not one bag of the free food offered
May 6, 2022

Disappointed to say the least , I didn’t receive all my products in the order , after being told several times over the course of four months suddenly told it was to late even though the advocate claimed to be handling it with support and they were having a product issue.

Then being told ordering the the 200.00 dollar package would make me eligible a year with no fees. After 3 months I was told I owed them money after never received a commission for my orders since the start . I was told as a rescue I would get a higher commission.

Never received any paper work just some booklets that became out dated in month. Theirs no plant nutrients I’n their food what so ever and pawtree is just another pyramid scheme .. I've asked to return items and their money back policy isn’t true.

That simply isn't true. I've had some flavors of food my dogs didn't like and they didn't ask for them back asked what I'd like to try and then sent me a whole complete 30 pounds of free food the next day..no problem. I have the documents to prove it. Did you bother reaching out to support? They are very quick to get back to ppl, it is one of the greatest companies in customer service and standing behind their products!!

Pawtree promotes now- and long-term pet health
January 18, 2022

While Pawtree may be termed an "MLM" business, that "label" is not a fleeting "fad" thing or so called "pyramid scheme" because: those who distribute are not typically Tom, Dick or Sally, but more typically vet, breeder or specialty pet products promoters; and especially the science behind the product - not just brand hype like quite a lot of brands caught up in unintended consequences of certain vitamin and probiotic "super" formulations leading to deaths of animals.

We have three one-year-old Yorkies and have given them Pawtree Superfood Seasoning, 1/3 tsp. sprinkled among their three bowls since inception of dry kibble early on. We can firmly attest to its power, because it is very visible and apparent. The youngest by two weeks to her other two sisters of different parents, Lulu broke her leg at four months of age while playing with her big sister Dolly. She had a very expedited recovery we believe as a result of that supplement.

In terms of all three sissies, there is no sign of any common malady. For example: A buildup of ear wax/debris normally calls for ear cleaning weekly. We have been almost a year without any tell-tale signs in-ear or behavior-based to require ear cleaning. We believe that is evidence of true pet health to the n-th degree, not to mention their all formidable stealth and coats.

Of course, premium high-protein Wellness Core brand kibble is the foundation of the Pawtree Superfood for our girls, so just realize other competitors results may fall somewhat short comparatively.
