About One Kings Lane
One Kings Lane, found online at OneKingsLane.com, is a website and company that specializes in bringing people the inspiration they need to design their homes, coupled with wonderful items at affordable prices.
How Does It Work?
According to their website, the two creators of this website had become frustrated and angry at the lack of websites where they could both find high quality, creative, and inspiring examples of good home design coupled with the ability to buy the products that were being represented in the inspirations.
They decided to bring these two different business types together into one, and created One Kings Lane, which offers customers a style blog, examples of well-designed living areas, and affordable products with which to make their visions into reality.
Each day the company will launch new products placed on sale for “exceptional value” and sales will last an average of 72 hours or until the products sell out. You are welcome to sign up for their newsletter and receive emailed information on new sales, or just come and shop when you need something.
Their inventory is broken into multiple categories intended to best help you find what you are looking for, including Furniture, Bed & Bath, Lighting, Kitchen & Tabletop, Rugs, Art & Mirrors, Decorative Accents, Vintage, and more. Once you’ve chosen your main category, you’ll see that it is further broken down into smaller sub-categories to help you truly zero in on the right type of product for you.
Since this website offers their customers such a large variety of products, there is no real way to quote a standard or set price range for the products you will find on this site, though certainly products like couches will be priced higher than basic decorative items.
When you look through their inventory of products, you will see the price of the item for One Kings Lane shoppers, the original retail price, and the percent discount the website is offering their customers so you understand how much you are saving.
The website says that are now accepting returns on almost all products sold on their website, as long as customers are able to send it back to their warehouse within 14 days of when it was delivered to you.
In order to see whether a product is eligible for return, you can simply find the information available on the product page of the item you are considering buying, or if you have already ordered the item, you can go to your account, click on Orders, Order Details, and then your order number, and the information will be available.
Customer Service Contact Info

Unfortunately this company appears to have very poor reviews. Complaints from unhappy customers range from delayed shipping, to overpriced merchandise, to poor quality merchandise, to incompetent Customer Service, to inability to receive refunds even in times of company error, and even more.
If customers are still intent on giving this company the benefit of the doubt and trying it for themselves, they may want to begin with a small, affordable purchase so if you experience the same issues as these unhappy customers, your issues may not be as significant.
Competitors and Alternatives?
There are some other websites that provide similar approaches to both inspiration and sales, like Houzz.com and Fab.com, as well as other general home goods stores that provide affordable home items, like Casa.com and Wayfair.com.

1 ‘One Kings Lane’ Review
I ordered two chairs from One Kings Lane in July 2020 at a cost of about $3500. When the two chairs arrived in September 2020, each of them had a broken leg. I immediately reached out to the company and asked for them to pick up the broken chairs and just send me two new ones. It is now late October 2020.
No one has ever called me about picking up the chairs, and their online rep is saying I will not get new chairs until December 2020. The service has been terrible. You also have to wonder why two chairs that cost $3500 would have such poor workmanship that both of them would arrive with such significant damage. It has been a stressful and extremely disappointing process.
I would never order from them again. I just emailed them for approximately the 10th time to ask for a remedy, but I am to a point that I feel like I have been scammed.
