Noonday Collection Reviews

Noonday Collection, found online at, is a company that says they are a socially responsible business that is using fashion to “create meaningful opportunities around the world.”

How Does It Work?

Noonday Collection is a company that says they have partnered with talented artisan entrepreneurs all around the world in order to help make a difference in some of the world’s most vulnerable communities, like Haiti, Afghanistan, Nepal, Rwanda, and many others.

Their website says that by helping develop artisan businesses through fair trade in these countries, they enable people to grow their businesses to provide quality jobs for other people who need them. Noonday says that they are working hard to build “a flourishing world where children are cherished, women are empowered, people have jobs and we are connected.”

They also work hard to empower women in well developed countries who are interested in becoming company Consultants – which they call Ambassadors – in order to spread awareness and grow the businesses of their artisans, while also growing their own independently owned businesses.

Compensation Plan

Unfortunately this website doesn’t really provide fully comprehensive information regarding their Compensation Plan, beyond the fact that Consultants will have the opportunity to earn 20-35% commissions on sales, 6% on team sales, and the ability to qualify for group trips in order to visit the Artisans in their home countries. Customers will probably want to contact their own local Noonday Ambassador in order to determine the full details of this plan and the time and effort that will be involved in order to really make this a profitable opportunity.

Cost/Price Plans

Customers can look through their current catalogue on their website to get an idea of what their products look like and what they might cost, and whether you might like to host a party.

For people who are hoping to become Consultants, the website says that new Consultants can purchase their choice of Starter Kit, which is priced between $199 and $699 depending on the selection of sample jewelry customers would like their Kit to include. Regardless of which Kit you choose, Consultants will be provided with lookbooks, mini-lookbooks, order forms, and a copy of the Noonday Collection story on DVD.

Refund Policy

Their website says that customers who are not 100% satisfied with their purchase are welcome to return their product along with a completed Return and Exchange form online within the first 30 days from the date of purchase, as long as the products are still in unworn, new condition.

Customers who return their products within 31 and 90 days of the date of purchase will still be able to have their returned products accepted, but they will only be provided with store credit rather than an actual refund.

Unfortunately no refunds or returns are provided for sale items.

Customer Service Contact Info

Customers who would like to contact their Customer Service team with questions, concerns, or complaints can do so by email at [email protected] or by submitting them directly to their website through the Contact Us link.

First, it is always important to point out that you should look for reviews either on the specific products in which you are interested in buying or for the business opportunity itself.

Generally speaking prospective customers will have difficulty when trying to find information on a multi level marketing opportunity, because in order to earn the most amount of money, Consultants will need to recruit new representatives to their team. This means that any enthusiastically positive reviews must be looked at with a grain of salt. It’s not uncommon for people to oversell the opportunity and the earnings potential, and undersell the time and effort.

The truth is that this company seems like a standard MLM, which means that it is likely that people will be able to make some extra money each month with this company, as long as they are willing to put in the necessary time and effort. However, the fact that this company places such an emphasis on supporting female artisans in struggling countries around the world is a unique aspect that may encourage people to work with this opportunity as opposed to a competing opportunity.

Competitors and Alternatives?

Companies that offer independent business opportunities generally aimed at women are actually fairly common and include well-known companies like Mary Kay and Avon, Scentsy, Pink Zebra, Lia Sophia, Park Lane Jewelry, and more.

Noonday Review by 4 year ambassador
May 13, 2018

I’ve worked as a Noonday ambassador since March 2014. My first two years I worked more part-time and hobby minded rather than business minded or for personal income. I like that it’s been work that I can be consistent in and have the flexibility to scale back or up my effort as I need/want to.

One of my favorite things that I’ve loved about working as a Noonday ambassador is having the gift of personal connection to artisans we partner with around the world. I’ve specifically been able to go beyond acquaintance level with women in Kenya and Uganda. In June 2018 I will be taking my first trip to Guatemala to meet partners and build personal connections with them too!

Noonday is not easy money. My time and effort are fairly compensated by sales commissions, coaching commissions, and product credit rewards based on a simple to understand compensation plan. You can access that plan via the policies link on the home page of our main website at the bottom. You can also email our support team with any questions about that and how we do what we do.

I have found our home office and executive team to be very transparent and accessible. Over my time with Noonday I have seen our home office team rise to meet the challenges of a growing young company with the long view in mind and high consideration given to our partner artisans, hostesses, customers, and ambassadors. It has been a place where my voice has been heard and valued among ambassadors and among our home office team.

For perspective for any reader here, statistically I am in the middle demographic of sales and have a team of 6 ambassadors. My goal for 2018 is to have passed the $100k lifetime sales mark and to travel again in 2019 to meet artisans we partner in another country I haven’t yet been to. I have learned to not see “goals” as a bad word but rather am learning to lean into them and enjoy the process of stewarding my time with purpose and intention in Noonday and without. I have “Noonday-ed my way” since 2014 and sincerely cannot imagine myself not being an ambassador at 80 +!

My Noonday commissions have helped me travel to Uganda, pay for textbooks for my three children, replace brakes and tires on my 01 Yukon, pay for my children’s co-pays as needed, 3 summers of a swim club membership for our family, contribute to adoption fundraisers in my community, and three years of child sponsorship through Sonrise. I’ve also been able to spruce up my personal wardrobe a bit too and join a small rowing fitness studio. Self-care in general has been better for me through my income with Noonday.

I didn’t give my review 5 stars because we are not perfect and we need room to grow! We are a community that is rising to meet the unique challenges of this kind of work and I am honored to be a part of this company and our mission.
