The Nectar Mattress, found online at, is a company that says they are making the most comfortable mattress available on the market today, as well as providing their customers with the longest trial. 

How Does It Work?

Their website says that people spend one third of their lives in bed, which is why they were determined to create a mattress that is “healthier to sleep on, firmer for support, softer for rest,” and even a little bouncier than most other premium foam mattresses.

To do this, they focused closely on the materials they used to make their mattress. All their materials were chosen with a focus on providing customers with the most comfortable sleeping temperature and the best possible support and comfort. 

Their Tencel cooling cover is described as promoting air circulation and heat wicking for a cooler night’s sleep, while the gel memory foam is able to deliver weight distribution and pressure relief. And all the materials they use to create this mattress allows them to be Certipur Certified, meaning that their mattress is “made without ozone depleters, PBDEs, TDCPP, mercury, lead, etc.”

Cost/Price Plans

This company only sells a single mattress at this time and it ranges in size from their smallest, the Twin, to the largest, the California King. Their prices range according to the size as well, from $500 to $900. 

This company also says that their customers will have the option to apply for financing, which will ultimately change the structure of how they will pay for their mattress. For example, the $500 Twin mattress could be paid for in 6 monthly payments of $108, while the $900 California King can be paid for in 6 monthly payments of $175. 

Refund Policy

This company says that they offer their customers a full year of 365 nights in which to try the Nectar Mattress, and customers who decide for any reason that this is not their ideal mattress will be able to contact their Customer Service team and arrange a pickup and a return of their mattress. Their website says that fewer than 3% of their customers return their mattress, even though their return period is three times longer than any other policy available on the market. 

In addition to their extremely long trial period, this company also offers their customers a Lifetime Warranty. Their website says that decades ago, all products were designed to last for the life of the product itself, and they believe this approach to manufacturing should have never changed. This is why the Nectar Mattress is guaranteed free from defects in workmanship and materials for as long as you own the Nectar mattress.

This mattress appears to get many different positive reviews and has been described as being one of the best quality dense foam mattresses available for the affordability of the price. It seems that this mattress is especially well liked for its breathability, which is a feature that is difficult for many foam mattresses to do well. And since this company offers such a beneficial trial period, customers will be able to try this product for themselves and see whether or not they agree with the reviews of this product.

I purchased the mattress on Feb 28. I got an email that it was shipped on March 29th. It is now May 18 and still no mattress. I have called over 20 times, no answer or no help. I have emailed many times. No reply. I have chatted using their chat widget on their website. No help. I finally asked to cancel. No reply. I tried to use the chat widget to cancel and I was told that I had to wait for the mattress to arrive (even though I doubt it ever will,) and send it back with a $100 restocking fee. Does that sound like what is advertised on their site: "Try NECTAR risk free for a full year. If you are not 100% happy, we will pick up the mattress for free." So, after I get the mattress, someday, I have to pay for shipping it back, and pay $100 to get my money back? Without a doubt a scam. Stay away from

My Nectar Experience, Product 5 Stars, Experience 3!

First off I will say this, I LOVE THIS MATTRESS, and the 2 free pillows I received with it, the quality is amazing! Its the perfect firmness, high quality materials, affordable cost compared to the competitors, I can't say enough good things about the product, but now its time to talk about everything before it arrived.

Like many other posts I placed my first order on 3/20/17, and the product just arrived today 5/2/17. Two weeks later, the day before my product was expected to ship, I get a back order email telling me the original ship date of 4/4/17 was moved to 4/24/17. I was not happy as you can imagine. I know things happen, and I was trying to remain positive as I REALLY wanted the Nectar, I did A LOT of searching, testing, weighing pros and cons, cost, and sooo much time settling on a mattress and not just for me but knowing I would be place 3-4 more orders. Nectar was the only one to exceed my expectations until it came time to meet set expectations.

Like the other post its true, you call the number and after waiting on hold for 5 minutes it disconnects, the chat representative cannot help you, and one post indicated the Corporate Office is a residential home in California. I began hearing stories of people waiting forever and never getting anything. I agree to give them 1 more week and planned to seek other actions for getting my money back.

The 24th came, nothing, the 25th came, nothing, but on the 26th I got an email that my order was being processed. Honestly I didn't believe it, as in I expected a fake tracking number, or product to get "lost" in deliver, just a horror story, but that didn't happen. They sent me the Fed Ex tracking number which after a couple days or so I could see the product on its way, the pillows arrived 3 days before the matters, and now all is well. I did place a second order so I'll expect another week or two before I experience the same thing but this is my overall....

1 - We live in an impatient world and I accept that. We seek instant gratification and I had to keep reminding myself that some things are worth the wait... I was not HAPPY about it, but I just couldn't bare the thought of being out of almost $1600, and started to get sick to my stomach. I began to think the year trial was so long because it will take you near 6 months to receive it in the first place.

2 - Nectar did provide a nice discount and complimentary pillows which they didn't have to do, I imagine they KNOW they hit a snag in there production and I'm assuming they hope to string the customers along while they work it out, but I will say it is not a scam! I was worried with the long wait time and lack of communication as well but I just received my quality product.

3 - For the quality of the product and the significant lower cost, I would 100% buy from them again, technically I did, waiting on my second Queen I expect to arrive Mid May, and I'll be placing another order for my Mom. I will wait assured of what is to come. Im glad I didn't cancel my order because for what I paid for 2 queens, would have cost me 1 queen of significant lesser quality materials...

So in closing if you have ordered, breathe, sit tight, have many cocktails because it will likely be a while for it to arrive, and their communication in the matter is lacking, but you will love it when you get it. If you haven't ordered yet, factor that into your decision, you may end up waiting 1-2 months to receive your product. For me it all worked out, but everyone's situation is not the same, but again for the lower cost, and quality it was worth it, so give them a shot. Id give them 5 stars if it weren't for the obvious delay and lack of communication.

Stay Away from Nectar Mattress

This is not a review of the mattress itself, since I have never actually received a product from this company, even though I ordered a mattress from them almost six weeks ago. The product was on backorder and was supposed to be shipped out 1 week from when the order was placed. Several days after the promised shipping date, I contacted Nectar. No response. Two weeks later, I received an email stating that it would be an additional two weeks. I emailed the company, and again, no response. The online chat was my only recourse, and the rep stated she could not help me. I would have to email customer service, which is obviously non-existent - just like the mattress I purchased. To date... I have yet to see either my mattress or my refund. Their promises are grand, and reviews are stellar. Don't believe a word of it. I have serious doubts about the legitimacy of this company, or if I have been taken in a scam. Buyer beware!!!!
