MakeOffices, found online at MakeOffices.com, is a company that says their goal is to help businesses and startups find and use office spaces that can help them grow and operate their company.
How Does It Work?
According to their website, they understand that just because a small business, startup, or growing business may need access to an office area does not mean that they are ready to take on all the expenses that come with long term leasing and maintenance of office space and office equipment.
But that doesn’t mean that these companies should fail or stop to grow. So MakeOffices strives to provide a middle ground solution, one that gives these businesses what they need without all the financial obligations.
Currently in the cities of Chicago, Washington, DC, Philadelphia, and coming soon to New York City, MakeOffices gives people access to high quality co-working offices and spaces that allow them to not only get their work done, but also offer the ability to network with entrepreneurs, developers, investors, and companies that can help you grow your business.
In addition they make sure to place these workspaces in areas that are within walking distance of public transportation, dining, entertainment, and shopping options so they offer the most possible convenience.
The most affordable option currently offered by MakeOffices is their Virtual Office, which is priced at $75 per month and provides users with a mailing address, mail collection, and monthly networking events.
Customers are also welcome to rent an "Open Desk," which start at $250 per month and offers a single desk in a shared workspace in a fully furnished office, broadband internet, mailing address, mail collection, monthly networking events, 24/7 building access, shared printer/scanner/copier, fully stocked kitchen and lounge, coffee area, and outdoor patio.
Customers who need more privacy than simply an Open Desk can rent their Private Offices, which begin at $550 per month and include all the features of the Open Desk package but instead of being a shared workspace, it will be a private, lockable workspace.
Unfortunately it appears as though MakeOffices does not provide any kind of a Refund Policy for their customers at this time, or at least they do not publish this policy on their website at this time. They also do not have a fully detailed Terms & Conditions on their website which can provide any information toward Cancelation Policies or other policies put in place for customers who are dissatisfied with what they have received. Concerned customers will need to speak to Customer Service in advance of making a reservation to find out any necessary refund related information.
Customer Service Contact Info
Customers who would like to contact Customer Service with any questions, concerns, or complaints can do so by using their social media networks, like Facebook and Twitter, unless you are already have a customer account and can submit a contact ticket.
Right now it seems as though the best place for finding reviews on this company and service are on the popular review site Yelp, which offers reviews for each individual MakeOffice space in each participating location.
At this time, it appears that all their locations have very positive and enthusiastic reviews for the neighborhoods in which they are located, the services and equipment they provide, and the convenience they offer.
Competitors and Alternatives?
It seems as though this company offers a somewhat unique option for working space within a large metropolitan area. There are other companies that offer small offices, temporary working spaces, or virtual working spaces, but not many with the goal of putting entrepreneurs together in a space where they might be able to learn from one another.
